"Disconnected from 360 camera" and won't reconnect, "preparing 360 CAM..." appears on screen for a second when trying and then just dissapears and nothing else happens, trying again just does the same again and again, I fixed it by clearing the app data. Another, big, problem, it won't let me download videos to my phone, it fails before 30% regardless of the video size.
Useless app. I have had the LG 360 cam for sometime after catching it on sale. The app fails to recognize the never before used device. Tried everything. Pairing Bluetooth, Connecting to it's wifi, clearing cache etc. Fails to recognize it. Needless to say I won't purchase another LG accessory. The only support online states "device will connect automatically with first use." That's a lie. I have a Google pixel 2 XL
This app requires you to connect to your contacts and telephone. It does not work for higher versions of android using version 9 keeps on trying to connect to camera. Android users are left to suffer. They still provide support for the ios software version though.
Even though it was shut down, it works perfectly fine. Only downside is that the live camera feed doesn't work. Can't really ask for help, as the service has been discontinued for almost 2 years.
Guess it's a good thing I am moving away from LG devices. Discontinuing this app makes the LG360 pretty much useless, the photos will come out even worse with having your hand in the way for photos and video. Guess it's finally time to upgrade to the 360 GoPro.
Android 10 does not work. Before your bot asks, R105 and whatever the latest firmware was before I upgraded from Android9 3 months ago. The huge number of people saying it stopped or never worked with Android10 devices should be a hint as to what the issue in the app is that makes it no longer connect...
It's really bad that they're not supporting this anymore. I originally got it with my G5 in 2016. But I did figure out how to get it working on my new phone. It seems to work if you already have a Wi-Fi password set up on the camera. (I used my old phone to set it up). You need to open the app, then manually go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera. When you switch back to the app, it'll be working.
Open the app after you already connected to the LG 360 and it works fine. But beginning a connection while in the app doesn't. Also it crashes when trying to download in the preview.
after about 3 months no matter which video i tried to download, it would download the first 30% of it, get stuck for a second, then dispay a message about the app stopping. so there is no way to downliad videos. i called LG Support and they told me to re-install the app. after re-installing it, it couldn't even connect to the camera. i'm running the on the LG 360 camera and LG G4 phone. so it's all LG equipment and software and it's another infinite loop that LG is known for
Do this if u can not connect to it Im using a samsung s20, the only way i can connect to it, is going to wifi settings on the phone not the app, and click on the camera wifi. And boom it works, if you try to connect using the app it will never connect
Terrible move by LG. Now you can't take remote photos, you will always be in the shot. Very disappointing. You also can't change any of the settings on your camera.
Absolutely awful, does not work with S20, at all. Have tried via wifi settings, finds the camera, connects to it, but the App will not connect.
Have been having connection issues lately and after connecting the app shows a black screen instead and I unable see what photos I am taking. Before it was working fine.
Guess what!!! Unable to connect the camera at all, i've checked everything, resitting the camera, update, format, and still the app cannot connect, i start to read the reviews and looks like not only my, how come youbstop supporting an application for your device!!! The camera is useless without the application, do you even understand that? Who honna pay now for this piece of metal? 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
I have used this camera on previous phone. Currently have a Pixel 5 and it will turn the camera on but it won't connect. I've tried to restart the camera and restart the app... Nothing works.
I bought this camera when it first came out loved it 0 issues. Now this camera will not connect to the application. After reading these reviews LG gives 0 f@#k$ about their customers. I have tried pairing via bluetooth wifi reseting the camera nothing works. Tried on iOS and android 4 different devices. At this point LG you have lost my business I will be upgrading my v40 today to something else because I know refuse to promote your products
If anyone is having issues connecting to the camera,I've searched a few forums and found that a vpn service could stop the camera from connecting. It worked for me after i disabled it.just a heads up.
Doesn't connect to the camera anymore.... Basicay they've stopped the camera from connecting to the app so you can't get your photos from it... Utter garbage now
You buy their product, it works a while, then BOOM, it no longer works, they get your money, they come up with something new, they stop supporting the one you bought so they can focus on the NEW product! There should be a class action lawsuit because it's just not right!!! LG is supposed to mean LIFE'S GOOD not LOSERS GALORE!!!
It does not connect with the camera at all. I demand a refund. The jingles keep coming but the app with never connect 0/10 if I could give a 0
Doesn't connect as well as it used to. I have to manually connect to it in the wifi settings in my phone to get a connection.
App used to work great, and it used to have a 5 star rating from me. LG completely pulled the rug from under us and ceased supporting the app altogether. There was no reason for this. If you want to stop development of the cam, just do that and leave the app be and all would be fine. Why ruin it?
I just checked my device now to see if it's still working and I'm really perplexed as to why does the app no longer works? Then I checked Play Store to see if I just need to update my app and what I see is it's closed. So what will we do with the device now? It relies to the app for other functions?
I've had the camera for years and was happy with it while using it with an LG G5 then with a G7 ThinQ. I now have a OnePlus 7Pro which I can't connect to without using WiFi and the app closes after reviewing any images. Please fix this
For a device that heavily rely on the app to function, this somewhat resembles planned obsolescence. I mean yes, the device still works and can take a photo or video with the manual clicker, but every other function is gone with the app, from manual configuration to storage, wireless transfers to battery remaining, not to mentioned live viewing. I would like to believe that LG doesn't practices planned obsolescence, but unless they explain why the app is terminated, it sure does feels like it.
