Absolutely useless!! Not once has it connected to my Bluetooth sound bar most of the time it doesn't even detect it do have to choose forget in Bluetooth options. Then it will show it and then asks for pairing code but no place to enter it then says connection failed.....sort it out LG it's pathetic
Why I am literally getting nothing but a screen that tells me my soundbar is connected. I do not have a remote, and the screen on the soundbar itself is messed up, so i was relying on this app to be able to operate my device. After using another if your apps that, i cannot get my sound into my soundbar from my tv, which is another reason i was needing to get this thing working. I have no way of fixing it and this thing was expensive so any help would be great.
I've used this app in the past and it worked great. Had to re download it and it won't register my sound plate. It says it doesn't detect a device, but the phone I'm using the app on is connected to the sound plate with Pandora so I know for a fact it works.
Trying to connect to my brand new LG Sound Bar via my Droid Turbo, but it seems this marriage just ain't gonna work.
I downloaded it because the manual for my shiny new LG device suggested I should, but I really can't see what the 'value add' is over my phone's default behavior...
Simply does not connect to my brand new device.. maybe LG should consider removing this from their product information on Amazon etc..
I want this to turn sound up and down and control base and those things because I lost my remote but it does not :(
This app wouldn't connect to my LG soundbar, which I KNOW the soundbar's bluetooth works, because it connects to my tv just fine. Also, there's no menu whatsoever, just a search for device (which doesn't work). FIRE your IT developers, they're either keeping, gaming or BOTH!
Doesn't work. Wont even connect. I've connected via Bluetooth and that's working fine but within the LG app it says not connected.
Trying to use to control LAS160B but it just says connect failed every time. However I am connected because I'm playing music through it
Waste of time. With this app you can just connect to LG sound bar. And do nothing, l mean really nothing. I am still wondering Y will someone create such a waste app.

Can't find soundbar. My Echo Dot can. Pathetic app. 0 stars. Update: support only takes 5 months to acknowledge complaints.
Tried to connect with LAS260B, but even though it shows as a device I get connect fail every time. Even when I hold phone next to soundbar. Very disappointing.
Obviously this fails to work as all the other comments shoe. However, it is poor that the developer has failed to respond to the comments by either an explanation, or an update. Why would they leave the app in they play store?? Just please remove it so others don't waste their time. Thank you
It's comical how much trash this truly is,utterly and completely useless. My sweet lord how terrible is this pathetic attempt to accomplish anything other than a sad failed effort.
This app has absolutely no purpose what so ever! It doesn't do anything except connect to the soundbar which my phone can already do. It does not have options to change volume or anything the people at LG should be ashamed to put their name on such a lousy product.
Hopeless...first of all found the soundbar but was unable to connect, now cannot even find device.
This app is completely useless. It does nothing other than connect to the device. Obviously the LG app developers had something better to to than QC this app.

I used this app to connect with a lg xboom stereo and then it aloud me to use another lg Bluetooth app "bt2" as the remote control, I set the alarm to wake the kids for school Boom Boom Lol

Used to work but after updating my Samsung from Android 4.4.2 to 6.0.1 did not work. Also did not work on Nexus 7 6.0.1. Does this thing work on newer versions of Android? Using a LG Soundbar NB4543. Will not be purchasing LG again for anything. Liked their Washing Machine but then again no connectivity options.
Might as well take this off the play store. It's trash and doesn't work
It can detect the LG soundbar but can't connect.. so lame for a well known brand. Self-made coders can do a better job than industry folks! Lol
