LG Hi-Fi Plus Manager

The app just says I have latest module firmware without even while I have not connected my HiFi plus module to phone!!! Seriously??

It always says up to date, even before connecting the actual DAC.

The app stucks on the update screen saying : "Go to Google Play Store for an app update" even tho i have the latest version.

No function as of 06142021. Will uninstall on LGVelvet device and other Play devices as possible. EOF.

Just phoned someone and they said there was a lot of noise coming from my side but all is fine on my end. The only difference is that i had the DAC plugged in (note that this module has a mic and gsm antenna). I then turned off "active noise cancellation" before calling my friend again. It was a 40 second call and no report of loud continuous buzzing. My last problematic call was entering 1m19s when buzzing was heard on other end. On my end all is clear. Very hard to know if B&O module is faulty or if noise cancellation is buggy or if its mic is buggy or if it is my local cell tower that has buzzing noise issue? With LG you just don't know.

This is a low value app, but it does what it needs to, which is update the DAC module software. It needs more features and a way to adjust settings of the module in future versions. For the module itself, it needs headphone impedance setting and a 5 band equalizer adjustments. Too bad this does not have dolby atmos like my HTC 10 does. My HTC 10 sounds better than this DAC module.

BnO DAC not connecting for USB player Pro. LGG5 is misbehaving after the last update on its software. I'm not in the US market. HEEEELLLLPP

Module does not work. Just states preparing the module and blurs the phone for an indefinite period. Disappointing from such a reputable company.

The b and o dac sounds amazing especially with high quality headphones. However, it really needs an eq adjuster to make it spot on.

The 'Preparing Hi-Fi Plus' popup regularly appears and makes my phone unusable, even when no headphones are plugged in! Only a phone restart temporarily fixes this.

Very unhappy that I can not change the EQ settings when using my B&O hifi plus after the update and there has been no response from LG!

It's not compatible with my zenfone 2 (intel processor) and my onkyo dpx1a (lolipop android base OS).

No EQ....on lg g5 exist EQ but not on module. Bring back, this is the purpose of B&O module. You take my money and let me with nothing. Lazy people start working and create a good EQ.

The dac always disconnect when I am at 4g just like what I read here. It also fails to recognize that my sennheiser hd 598 SR has 50 ohms. Am I missing something?

Would give higher score if it has an equalizer function

I've found that it will automatically set impedance to the type of headphones witch are plugged in, but by doing this you are not getting the full power, punch and dynamism of the DAC you get in high impedance mode. You should be able to pick between normal, high impedance and auxillary modes manually for this little DAC to hit its full potential. Disappointed.

Low volume as compared to Iphone 6s and Htc M9

I use either Neutron or USB player PRO with the B&O DAC. And it delivers the maximum with THIS app .So what does it do? Makes Music Great Again #MMGA
