Does not work at all. Cannot detect BPM35 Blu Ray player it's supposed to work with. A link (in Korean) leads to another app that only supports TVs. Many signs point to this app having been written by totally incompetent developers, including crashes and asking the user whether it's running on a phone or tablet. Blatant false advertising by LG.
After seeing impressive youtube video ( content provided by LG) I tried loading this app on both android and Apple devices. Both devices could not connect with brand new LG 3d blue ray player. Screen goes black then app stops altogether.
Apparenly while the box my BP340 came in graphically indicates "LG Remote App", I contacted LG support and that player apparently isn't supported. I was told that LG uses the same basic packaging for all their shipments.
Did not locate my blu ray player. It is an lg 3d and nope didn't work. My remote got busted (joys of having 3 kids) and now we can't watch movies. Will keep looking for a suitable app.
Besides constantly locking up requiring hard reboot (power cord unplugging) my LG smart blue ray bp320 works with none of the confusing variety of these apps. One of the apps actually did find the device and prompted download another which could not find it. lG may make OK hardware but all their software is buggy confusing, terrible

I have the latest Android 4.4 KitKat and LG BD670 and this app cannot even find the Blu-ray player.
Its not work on my lg tv model no.14S1RGE-TH. Please solve my problem
Crashed the first time I opened the app. And the second time. Third time was the charm, except it couldn't find any devices.
Hate that ya have to have Wi-Fi otherwise it can't be used. Cause my Wi-Fi doesn't work alot of time so really annoying.

Why does the box say this app will work but it doesnt.... that's called false advertisement and I'm going to get a refund.... maybe if they aren't making money cause their liars they will change their tune
Stupid that it wants you to be on wifi, why can't it just use your normal mobile data
Your player has to be connected to your router via LAN cable or wifi. Works fine after it is connected. App layout isn't that good.
Downloaded because we got the device from a thrift shop with no remote. Requires device be on wifi... it's on the Internet but can't set up device on wifi without remote... so not helpful.
LG should be ashamed of itself...and this is coming from a Korean! App kept crashing and couldn't find my bluray player. Huge waste of my time, don't waste yours.

Tried six times to launch - failed every one of them. Uninstalled!
Please fix. This app was advertised on the new blue ray player we just hooked up and it cannot find our dvd player. Dvd player is hooked up to the Internet properly as we are streaming Netflix at the moment.

Brought a new blue ray player and this app didn't find it.
Shame u do have to be Internet connected, but found my dvd blu ray player instantly and works great, can actually use my player now.... Thank you

App is a little clunky (welcome message in Korean, weird button layout and sliders) but I'm just thrilled that it works with my BD 670 (lost the remote months ago and haven't been able to use it properly since). Setup was easy over WiFi (played was already connected)
