LG TV Remote Control (All in One)

If your phone does not have IR (Infrared Blaster) this app is not a good choice. It won't work for you. There aren't any directions on how to do the initial set up either. It would be really helpful if the developer would have included simple directions for selecting a handset you like pointing at tv, walking through set-up and possible error conditions like "no IR" etc. It would take a technical writer an hour to create them and really increase sales.

Genuinely works. Couldn't believe it when I tried the first remote option and my TV responded immediately. A great app if you have lost your remote. I found multiple remote options worked so I was even able to choose which remote suited me most. Sure you have to watch the occasional short add when selecting a remote, but it's well worth the few seconds! It's essentially a free universal remote. Make sure you remember to point your phone at your TV's receiver Your phone becomes a literal remote

Got to laugh at the Idiots posting 1 star reviews saying remotes don't work or that it says they don't have IR and blame the App because they have a modern phone that does have an IR transmitter or more likely do not even know what one is. App works well if you have an IR, although on a few occasions something does not work exactly right. But free app does the job. Good job to the DEVs who built it

This IR remote control app works perfectly with my LG TV. For it to work your phone must have IR (infra red). Unlike those that use your home WiFi this one can turn the TV on. I am using this as a direct replacement for my physical remote control unit until we find it. Where do they go?

Sux doesn't work no matter what you do, unless your phone has (IR) not all phones even the up to date phones have (IR) and it still doesn't work half the time, it needs a huge update on the syncing process to allow even the phones without (IR) to be able to use the app.

Tried everything to access input menu on a hotel tv, nothing worked. Installed this app, took less than a minute and I could change the input to hdmi, and most of that time was spent picking a remote style. Good stuff.

No a remote app to use as a remote but an app to buy a remote. Full of adds and a complete waste of time. I guess they haven't heard of the internet

Very simple but works with few ads and no headaches. It's impossible to find a solid remote app. And if you have an LG, this is it.

Wow had no remote for second hand 12 v TV for motorhome . downloaded app just typed in make this was first one came up Walla pressed buttons TV worked perfect

I rarely rate any app. This one is just awesome. Works for non smart TV. Those who are complaining might not have ir blaster in their phone

This is not for the latest Samsung Phone as they no longer have IR hardware in these latest Samsung Phones. But if you have an older Samsung it will work. I guess it's time to buy the remote control instead.

Idk what this was supposed to do but it did nothing. Not user friendly. No set up or instructions. Just a bunch of pictures of remotes.

Worked perfectly with the TV in my hotel room. So glad I have a phone with an IR sensor. Now I can watch shows from my laptop on the big screen. Thanks developer! :)

Best app My remoye was broken and for sime reasons i have to reset my wifi thats why my tv cant connect to wifi auto and i tried many app but cant control my tv and just i downliaded this app and it works just in secon If you also in search of these kind of apps then surely try it

The description is a lie. This app is only to buy remotes. It does NOT allow you to control your TV from your phone.

I used this app in the past and it was great, unfortunately my current phone doesn't have the IR blaster which is needed to work.

This is an amazing app . I had urgent need of remote but i had not so i downloded this app it started to work . Thanks for such amazing app . This app deserve more better reviews . I do not knwo why people have given bad reviews this app required IR mode without it app does not work . Mostly this app works only in redmi mobiles .

It have tata sky tv remote and it is not functioning properly and there is not tata sky set up box remote please add it , when I am sending the picture or upload it writes remote control has stopped. Please add tata sky set up box remote

Excellent 💯 percente working.. But only thing is - it's main scrolling button doesn't work properly, we have to press it 5 - 6 times then it works.... But love it..👍👍💯☺️

When I downloaded it b/c I lost my remote as soon as I opened it it said,"remote control has stopped." So I got on it again it did the same thing and it wouldn't even let me push the buttons

This app is not working on my old LG TV. Saying 'Your phone doesn't have IR' when I'm pressing the remote 6's switch. What is the reason for this?

Pls don't ignore this warning. This app doesn't work for controlling tv set. Don't waste your data downloading it.

I am using magic remote.But frequently I am facing battery low issue.and I use to replace battery in 20 to 25 days.But after installation of this remote.I am not using physical remote. Thank you Team

Screen rotate if happens to be on is frustrating. I'm no fan for touch screen buttons but always with me remote is superb

Useful if your phone has IR. I don't even know what that f**king is. I lost my remote a week ago and I don't have time to know what IR is.

Would be perfect only samsung decided to leave out the IR on the note 10 plus, perhaps add the feature to use through wifi ?
