LG TV Tag On
First, to use this application, enable NFC and Use 'Read and Write/P2P receive mode' on your smartphone.
Simply tap the NFC-equipped smartphone against the Tag On sticker to share content with the Smart TV.
- To share content through NFC, the smartphone and Smart TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network or Miracast™/Intel’s WiDi must be On on your Smart TV.
Notes for using the Tag On sticker:
- Do not attach the Tag On sticker to a metal surface to ensure that the Tag On sticker registers properly
- Do not crush or fold the Tag On sticker to ensure that the Tag On sticker registers properly.
[Main Feature]You can share content between your smartphone and smart TV through Tag On App.
- If they are connected to the same network, they will use the connected network.
- If they are not connected to the same network, directly connect via Wi-Fi Direct.
- For more details on how to share content between your smartphone and smart TV, see the Help page in the Tag On app. You can see the Help page in the Settings menu of the Tag On app.Select the Tag On app icon on your smartphone to run it and see Help in the settings menu.

I have the LG 50LB6500 and a Note 3. I have been trying to get this to work forever and a day now. It alwats says unable to locate LG tv and to turn on miracast or use same wifi network.... ive done all of that... several times. Nothing works. LG customer support has me do everything i have alreadt done over and over and over and then hangs up on me. This is very dissapointing. Please fix issue or at least respond to these kind of reviews so we can get help! Worse customer service i have ever experienced.
There is about 4 LG apps you have to figure out witch one works with your TV I work for Best Buy and I paid $3500 for my LG 9500 4k and was worth every cent so pleased with it. But this app is not compatible with it you have to download the rite one.
Seeing as my brand new LG 42LB65 came with the "Tag On" sticker I kind of assumed this app would work "out the box" however I was mistaken. To date all that happens when I "tag" my device is the app opens & reports "This App will be updated in latter part of 2014" and does not function with the TV. Will this update happen soon & will the LG42LB65 be supported?
I have a brand new LG 4K I forget the model number but my phone registers the tag but cannot find the tv on the WiFi but when I use the YouTube app on my phone it finds the TV with no problem so wish I could use the app I think I'm just gonna go ahead and save some memory and delete this app also I'm using an LG G2 phone so even worse that an LG item doesn't work with an LG product.
Your smart tv isnot smart and it is a trash I have spent 1550$ to buy tv only to find myself very disappointed because it doesnt link to my mobile.will warn all on Facebook not to buy LG tv
It's so ugly it looks like it was made with as least effort as possible. Also kinda wonky
Tv-to-phone causes my television speakers to make a weird noise every 30 seconds or so.
With remote controls,pulling screen from tv to phone is awesome,nd the gamepad is a nice touch..awesome development,great tv,great control app by LG ,the ones by LG only not others,i tried nd it wuldnt see my tv,LG app with tagon finds tv str8 away. Living the tv,using HTC one x
This so stupid LG no update yet for our model is it so difficult not connected with galaxy s4.:) also Lg app store is so week for webOs.
Works great on my HTC One but can't even find it in Play Store on my LG G Pad that came with the LG TV . Is this down to the Pad or my ISP
Doesn't matter what orientation the photos are, they are always sideways in the app. I have attempted to rotate the pictures to correct this but it has no effect.
Please improve the lgg3 hi res screen battery drain problems if you improve the battery efficiency the lgg3 will dominate the market

Excellent application... and thank you Google for providing NFC in Nexus 5. this application only works with a phone having Nfc and miracast... with the help of this now i too operate my Tv from smartphone...
Is the upnp service even tested on 2013 model lg tv. Doesn't work. Every time it registers like New device.

Didn't work i have lg g3 & lg smart tv .. On lg smart tv : it says it's connected and on lg g3 : shows it's not connected ..and. I became confused ..after all it didn't work on my phone although i followed all the instructions
Downloaded it for washer/dryer, then it made me download FOUR more apps. Two of the apps were useless, and not needed, however it required me to have them. Get your $#!^ together LG!
Really? LG sells the tv, but the tag on sticker doesn't work at all with my Xperia Z1. It keeps asking me For another app, but the Other app is not available in my country

People who trash this app and LG tv 's need help. Before u rate apps learn to use ur technology. I connect using my Galaxy s4 as a 4G modem and nfc tag connect. This app works perfectly. LG tv is the best in the market. Please learn to us ur devices instead of ranting like spoilt brats. Great work developers.
