Used this as my main form of practicing for the LGV Theory Test as it's well designed and easy to use for either a full length practice test or quick revision when I had 5mins at work. Passed first time with 96/100. The Hazard perception videos could do with some tweaks like keeping the screen on while the video is playing as the short timeout I have set on my phone could cause the screen to dim before I got to far in the video. Excellent software.
So bought the app today and have been using it most of the day. I have really enjoyed the experience right up until I went and tryed to do the CGI hazard perception video's and none of them will play. I press on them and it starts for a second then says unable to play this video, so I thought I would try and play another to find none of them are working (I am using a Samsung galaxy trablet) if that makes any difference. The standard videos all play fine and are really helpful.
Brilliant so far! A huge range of questions, the only thing lacking is the hazard perception as i feel there arn't enough videos to practice on. Still a 5 star rating though as the price is good and the app is very easy to use, and a very good personal trainer to help you focus on the questions you're failing on.
Best app available for lgv theory by far. I tried a few others and didn't get on with them so tried this one. I love that I could have practice tests just in the areas where I needed the most improvement ie drivers hours/tachograph rules. The hazard perception is another really useful feature of the app. I found it flawless and helped me pass my multiple choice and hazard perception first time. It also taught me all I needed to pass my CPC case studies first time too.
Brilliant app, used this for a few weeks practising and I have passed first time my multiple choice and hazard perception there was only a few questions on the multiple choice test that weren't on the app but I'd say atleast 95% were. Although the hazard perception videos weren't the same I would say the videos on the app a lot of hazards were harder to find than the actual test so made it easier what to look out for. Really recommend this app! Thank you!
Learnt alot so far, I'm not expecting to have the same questions or hazard clips, but there's not many hazard clips, once you know where the hazards are after one go, they're pretty useless. Otherwise, choosing the sections or no of questions and choosing from one's you haven't answered or you got wrong or right is a good feature. The explanations help, a few questions are poorly written, 2 answers seem to apply, the explanation just confirms that of those odd occasions.
Great app well worth the price . Very helpful in revising for the theory test . Hazard pro is also a great tool . Only bad bit is alot of questions are repeated alot !!! But that's just because they are worded differently in an actual test / multiple ways of asking the same question in a test environment
multiple choice is easy to use and clear guidance is given. feedback after each set of questions is good. the hazard perception UI however isn't great. you could do with putting in hazard explanation and feedback once the video is completed, along with speed of playback controls
Great app, worth every penny. Passed my Hazard perception and multiple choice with flying colours. 😁 Just a warning there were a few questions that weren't on here and most are the same but worded differently but still you won't pass without this app. Thank you!
This is a excellent app, I used nothing else to practice for my theory and passed first time with 96%. Unfortunately the HPT didn't go as well, but this was no fault of this app, having been a driver for 27year I think the HPT is a joke of a test, some hazards develop so far away it's unreal, then some you can see developing you press and miss the 5 point by pressing too early there is no real consistency. Think this part of the test should be scrapped for already license holders with experience
I used this for 95% of my revision. I did need to use a book to clarify a few things like the tachograph mode pictures as well as types of restraints needed for different loads as I don't actually drive lorries yet. When I got my test yesterday I did panic when a few questions came up that I never seen before (I was only 25 questions in). I did pass first time on both hazard perception and multiple choice with only 4 questions wrong. The mocks were a great judge of my progress.
The mock tests were very useful, there will be a few new questions though in the actual test. The hazard perception was also good, could be a bit larger on the phone image though.
I'd love to give it 5 stars, but unfortunately must give 4 for a simple reason - the app doesn't contain all of the questions. I passed my theory and hazard today, and wouldn't do it without a help of this app, however was very surprised when few questions appeared that I never saw before. I was doing 95-100% on every mock test in the app, ended exam with much less, but still passed. Overall great learning tool, but questions database needs to be updated ASAP for new users.
Passed today with 97/100 theory and 85/100 hazard perception. I don't believe I would have passed without this app so thank you. I spent about 1 week doing 2-3hours a day until I could get nearly all the questions right. I would say about 85 questions on my test were the same or along the lines of questions from this app. Of the rest some were common sense and there were maybe 8 that I was left unsure of. Hazard perception on the app was a good place to start but it didn't give much feed back or how many points scored so go elsewhere for extra practise before. If you're spending £1000+ on an lgv test then spend the extra £6 and get this app. None of the other apps I tried were nearly as good.
Passed my theory test first time yesterday - hazard perception and multiple choice marks both in the 90s. Needs more hazard clips, but then the real ones are slightly easier during the test anyway...
Great app for up to date questions. A little plain and boring... but that's test conditions. Passed first time today with 92/100 on theory. Passed hazard first time also. I even noticed two of the cgi videos from this app in the actual test! I would definitely recommend this!
Very good content, easy to learn for hgv/pcv multiple choice test! Much better than others, for which you pay more. It helped me 100%.
Multiple choice questions were handy for revision and layout of app is ergonomic however today I have just passed my hazard perception despite the fact that none of the video clips I revised from the app. were in the test!
I'll pass with no problems thanks to this app. All the information and knowledge needed to get my LGV theory and hazard perception test passed first time is right here. A perfect buy for such a small price. Edit. 26/2/20 Passed both theory and hazard with 96 and 94 respectively. Well done to the developers for such a handy tool.
I haven't even gone for my theory test yet but using this app is so fun... the way it is designed with dark mode and different other colours just encourages u to revise Definitely a 5* app and do not hesitate to buy it trust me you will not regret
Passed first time. Very useful and well worth downloading. If you put in the time and learn the questions, you'll have no problems passing your test.
Haven't done my theory test yet but this app has been by far more helpful than any other one as you are given explanations behind the answers to all the questions. It definitely beats reading the highway code which you gotta be with me here is boring as hell. App is definitely worth the money
I failed my HGV theory and this app has a trainer that helps you through all questions. I feel a lot more confident for the next test. Brilliant. Having this in your pocket means you can study ANYWHERE. It's like a game on your phone and it really helps get the knowledge in there. Coming back to HGV driving after 17 year break and this is great!
Very good app , easy to use . There were a few questions in my test that aren't in the app , but I suppose they're always changing the test . Worth the £6.99 I paid .
this has really helped me with my theory test can't recommend it more. As of the 5th of November with the help of this application I've passed my theory test can't thank the developers enough great job got 95 right because of this
Easy to use and fairly comprehensive. Could do with an update as some questions aren't covered. But if you get 100% in the app then the likelihood is you will have enough knowledge to pass. I passed first time after using this so it deserves its 5 star rating.
Found the actual theory test questions quite different and about 30% of the questions I haven't come across in practice. But was worth £5.99. Hazard perception is a great example of the real test 👍
This is a great easy app to use. I passed because of this app. I originally bought an ebook but was annoyed with not being able to tick boxes. A coach driver friend told me about this app didn't touch ebook after that. The hazard perception part is in the menu to the left. Gives like 20 examples of the video which you can interact with. Highly recommended app.
