Liberty Bank Mobile Banking

I have this app for two reasons: so that I can check my balance any time, and so that I can deposit a check via mobile. Half the time when I try to deposit a check, the app crashes. I've updated the app and still no difference. I can't do it after work because the bank closes before my shift ends. I think I need to switch banks to one that either has hours that working people can make work for them, or one that has a working app.

I only use this app to deposit checks online. Used to be great for online check deposits, now the camera won't take pics of back of check "camera failed to focus" even though I keep it still. Three times I installed this app and tried over & over... just waisted time... Zero Stars!

Is a great app. Helpful especially when I'm on the run, which is always. Recently, ever since my Samsung Galaxy software upgrade in December, it crashes as soon as I open it. I'll re- open it top log in & it'll crash again. Usually by the 3rd time reopening it I can get to where I need to go. Sometimes it takes 4 or more tries. I thought it would've been adressed by now. Otherwise previously to this problem I've rarely had a problem with this app.

HORRIBLE!! Can never log on. Fast balances doesn't work. Takes over 3 + minutes to log in and view account. Horrible app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and nothing changes. I have changed any an all settings to keep things original and simple, and still nothing. I also stopped notifications because that stopped working as well. Today is 7/2 an I can't even pay Bill's. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled and NOTHING changes! Ever since the updates, this app is HORRIBLE!!!

Getting long in the tooth for an Android app. No real upgrades in over a year; I can't even log in with my fingerprint. Last I checked it was 2022; Liberty Bank is living in the past.

The app prior to the update was very useful but since then it has been a nightmare. Constantly i have to keep setting up things that i already set up. I am not receiving my notifications and when i do receive them they are late. I hate this new app. It's the worse and you need to figure out a different system.

10 yr + customer, this was a 5 *, then 1, but the app has improved. When they changed card vendors and the app went from 5 to one. The bugs, issues, and knowledge base have mostly been resolved but this app still doesn't have the functionality for complete control of card it had previously. Liberty Bank app is better than most and the bank is still one of the best in Connecticut for customer service, products, and access.

I like this app or should I say liked it. Unfortunately it suddenly has stopped working when I login using biometrics. Now I have to type my password in each time which is time consuming and frustrating. Not to mention kinda scary when out and about. If fast balances goes down I will be looking for new banking options. Very dissatisfied with whatever the last update did to damage biometric login.

Oct 2020 Update: Still doesn't work following app update. Check deposit currently not working on Pixel 4a / Android 11. Capturing the first picture of the front of the check works normally, but when attempting to take the second picture of the rear of the check the camera app does not function correctly, it shows a distorted image and you are unable to take / submit the picture.

Horrible! Have to validate each and every time you login. Only get validation via phone, no option to use email. Plus phone apps don't have password saved so you have to type in the whole generated password on the phone keyboard. The alternate 'Challenge Questions' has incorrect info and are questions people don't remember or will forget especially as they get older. Website doesn't have full Card Control and you can't setup push alerts unless app is installed. THEY USE DARK BROWN LETTERING ON DARK BLUE BACKGROUND TO ENTER TRANSACTION LIMITS! Also don't know if I can deposit more than the transaction limit since you really just want to limit spending and withdrawals. It's all just to horrible!

Have been Liberty customer forever and utilize this App often. Ever since the recent bank merger and software upgrade this App crashes constantly. I have notified bank by sending error message multiple time and received one response stating App was fine. I continue to have constant problems with this App. Crashes on every start up... Still waiting to hear from developers. VERY DISAPPOINTED NOT THE LIBERTY I KNOW.

Easy to use and to keep on top of your spending. At the beginning it was annoying having to log in every single time when I already have my finger print registered with the app on my phone, but after that hurdle its swift and easy to access the information on the account.

Biometric (fingerprint) logon no longer works. Just spins with fast balances page that is blank. Signed on without to fingerprint and enabled fast balances page and tried logging in again with fingerprint. Fast balances works, so I am authed, but I never get normal home screen where I can do anything. This was working a week ago with fingerprint... Why broken now?

App crashes daily, Everytime I send the report, and nothing chances, the old app never crashed. If they cannot get a simple app working right, how can to protect my money. I am seriously thinking of switching banks, if they do not fix this app.

If I could give this garbage app 0 stars, that would still be too many. I get you're a local bank and therefore have limited resources, but if you want to keep customers in 2019, invest more than $1 in your UI. Because this UI is terrible and because you have to tell the back every time you cross state lines or your card may be declined, I'm leaving. I've had enough. The branches are great but that's where their greatness ends and the technology troubles aren't worth it.

4/21/21- has been working fine for a couple months 7/28/20-Updated app and can now login if I back out of frozen splash screen and reopen app without closing completely. Original 11/28/19-Same as many. Can't deposit my work checks because the app will not open. Just sits on splash screen...

I have used this app for years to successfully deposit checks to my account for Liberty Bank in California. Then the app needed to be updated, so I clicked the link to update. Suddenly it wouldn't recognize my log in information. It turns out that this app was updated to the Liberty Bank Connecticut version! I don't understand how this is possible. Now I have to uninstall this app and go hunting for the California app. Should not have been possible to screw up the app this badly.

Took me to a 404 error page when I tried to read one of the agreements. Annoying as heck but I was able to do it on my computer and got the app working just fine. But the following day I try to open it and I'm stuck on the loading screen. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Didn't help. So now can't access my account unless I'm near a computer. Really frustrating! Please fix the bugs.

App stopped working. I have tonuse the mobile website now. I log in and it just turns white and continues loading nothing. There's no way to report the issue and it's completely useless. Use to be able to use it daily. A bank should not have a horrible app. As a new customer, Im disappointed.

Update (10/04/19): I must be dreaming, I logged in today with nothing but a fingerprint. If this is real thank you liberty bank for removing this annoyance. Previous Review: Liberty Bank please remove 2 Step verification. I beg you. I have a finger print sensor, that should be enough. I can't do this text message phone call verification non sense. At lease make it autofill when the text comes in. Good benefits but your app makes me want to take my money elsewhere

Your app needs major help!!! On random ocassions a screen labelled "SERVER ERROR 404" pops up and crashes the app. Only solution is to uninstall and re-install, and cross your fingers!! 7

The fingerprint authentication failed. Again. The check deposit feature never really works right. This app is just one more reason for me to not like this bank. I know you didn't design it because Dime has the same exact app. At least the people at Dime try to help.

I can't log into the app anymore. I continue to get an error message about the sites certificate. This app is useless if I can't even log in!! Very very unsatisfied! I wish I didn't have to give it even one star! Doesn't deserve it!!

Fingerprint log in doesn't work on wifi

Great bank, not so great app. Transfers don't show sometimes. I also get 404 errors and randomly it closes on its own. Do not have any issues with website.

Normally a great app, however when I tried to use it recently it would always crash on the liberty bank splash screen, rendering the app useless until this issue is fixed

Latest version is saying there's a security issue with my phone, suggesting it's rooted. Only thing different about my phone is that the app updated. My phone is still secure 🤷🏻‍♂️

This app has been glitchy for days.. reinstalled the app and it still gives me a headache... I'm really tired of this, I think Im heading out too ..and to a bank that protects my income..instead of being greedy. Since 2006 I banked with Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan ..then Liberty took over, a nightmare ever since

This App had been crashing for some time. The following are actions you can take to repair. Card Controls --> tap the Card --> Locations --> Device Required --> de-select both "Turn on Device Required Alert" and "Turn on Device Required Control" --> Submit Developer provided this info after multiple complaints.
