Once upon a time this app was decent. Not anymore. Everytime I try to edit vehicles, I get to the last step and it says "sorry, it's not you it's us" and doesn't work to complete the process. Try calling them and the automated system trust everything it can to direct you back to the app(that continually doesn't work) instead of giving you customer service. Very frustrating. They are, however, extremely great priced. Just need to work on the app some more if they really want it to be used.
it has several issues that need to be addressed, the place where you upload the pictures for a claim does not work "Network Issue" although you are connected to a powerful wi-fi and the permissions of the app are set properly, to open the estimates is a nightmare too, it downloads an empty jpg along with the right PDF file. Besides, you can go up to 5 stars by solving these issues.
Terrible, literally considering switching insurance companies. I purchased a new vehicle and have not been able to get it insured yet. I attempted to add it on to my policy and the app just continues to say it's loading. After waiting forever for it to never load, I tried calling to do it just to get an automated message saying it can be done in the app and then hung up on. If I can't get this car insured today I will be finding coverage for all 3 of my vehicles elsewhere. 0 stars
This app makes it convenient to pay your bills and view your coverages. However, I am a bit upset that when you don't use autopay, the bill comes out to be about $40 more, but when you want to pay ahead, it says that it will still bill you on the next autopay date anyway. Another tactic from a company to take more money from poor people instead of the people who actually have money.
Right Trac system though good idea it does not work properly. Four drivers in family only one phone accept data. Called regularly and they never could get other phones to accept data. My phone though recorded 2,100 miles while on a cruise vacation for three weeks to Hawaii, no auto driving involved at all. Driver performance records, 2 drivers - good, excellent, excellent, 2 drivers - excellent, excellent, excellent. Finally results $35 per month increase, in policy per month!
I log into the app. Used same info as the website. Error. I have the right info as I just logged into the website. I tell the app to reset my password. I go to the link provided on the email, it asks my email and the last 4 of my social, says it can't recognize it. tried 5 times. So I changed it on the website, and now the app takes it. I used to have another policy. Called Road service. They could not access them to confirm I had it. Had to pay myself on the phone. LM refuse to reimburse me.
The app is super simple and does exactly what an insurance app should do: provide proof of coverage. It does a lot more than that, but when you're pulled over on the side of the road and the cop is waiting for your insurance card, quick access is priceless.
So far with Liberty I have enjoyed working with the company, I had another company for over 25 years and they became much too expensive. Liberty has good pricing, covers what you need, and a very easy to use app which you can view your policy and I'd cards in.
Liberty Mutual customer service is amazing! Each representive from start to finish of my claim has been polite, understanding, and helpful. I have never been privileged to have an insurance company that actually communicates the process so thoroughly than Liberty Mutual. I was well informed through phone calls, via text, or emails about each step of the process and what to expect next. Liberty Mutual communication is by far the best I've ever encountered with an insurance company.
Liberty mutual as a company is great. This app as a driving tracker is awful. It uses your GPS and randomly makes up incidents to lower your discount. I got off at exit at a regular speed and it dropped me $30 in savings and called it a hard brake. I stopped at a red light on the highway and it dropped it almost $50 as a hard brake. I guess I'll start running red lights and stop signs now.
New to Liberty Mutual. First trip tracker style app which actually is gonna result in a significant policy discount! Rates are fair, competitive for online quotes. LibMu giving me a better deal on full coverage than the company i had been carrying liability coverage with for 3 years! Probably would have saved more had I gone to an agent but i prefer handling my car insurance though the internet. Overall though pleased with the app and it's drive tracker. App's UI is easy and simple, lots of info
App works good. I wish things within Liberty worked better. If a bill is coming up I don't know why I can't pay it early without them telling me they're going to take out another payment on the scheduled due date as well. Seems like it should be easy to let me pay scheduled payment early if I wish.
I've been logged into the app for over 2 weeks and it still says that I haven't driven at all. I've reset my access after deleting the app twice now... On both my phone and my wife's. Very frustrating!
My advice is to not make any changes to your policy through the app, or avoid liberty mutual. I removed a lienholder on the app, and liberty mutual removed the vehicle entirely from my policy. When I tried to get it fixed, customer service was not helpful and were unwilling to take responsibility for their technical glitch. I was forced to take a lapse in coverage for poor customer service and faulty programing in the liberty mutual app in order to get my vehicle insurance reinstated.
So far the insurance itself has been very good but very expensive. The app itself isn't very helpful. It was easy to set up on my own when I first started. And for someone with a disability that helps me a lot not to have to talk to anyone. However trying to make changes to your policy, That's where the difficulties prevent any positive feedback. It kept saying I could not make changes to my app and requested I call and I tried to reach someone but the app just gave me more of the runaroun
