Guys, what has happened to this app? I have used it for years, on iPhone and Android, and loved it. Recently it stopped refreshing, showing items I had returned, so I tried to reinstall. Well now I can't connect to the app at all. It just keeps telling me that I have no connection to the internet. Please go back to the older format of the app!
Stupid design of the app. Plus the website has been ruined recently with a failed change of format. Why attempt to fix things that dont need fixing? Its as bad as the attempt the change the holds systems inside libraries too. Absolutely horrible. Go back to the way things were about 2 years ago, the systems were fine. Simply put, the Loan Systems for the libraries on site and online are getting worse and worse. I used to enjoy borrowing items at my local library, now its becoming an annoyance.
Not a good experience on my Samsung galaxy note 10.1. The app did say it might not be optimized for my device but the interface was very clunky. I'm not sure why the app needs so much access to things like the camera and photos on my device.
This app really is great. Thanks, heaps. A priori, no thing is ever 100% perfect, otherwise I would give it five stars. Again, thanks heaps. Libraries, always the cornerstone of civilisation. Even more so, in these digital times.
It works well on my tablet. I just have a suggestion (I do realise that paid development has probably stopped but, anyway) it should notify you when you have a book overdue. A push notifications should come up with the name of the book and date it was due.
When i try to log in: "sorry there is a problem communicating with the libraries sa server please try again later" ...well i did that. I tried again over several weeks. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck. Just doesnt work.
Keeps saying no connection. Tried everything. Still doesn't work. This is on my phone which is a Samsung. On ipad it works.
Rubbish app that keeps saying can't login and not connected to the internet! Seems it's a problem on Samsung devices. Please fix ASAP please!!!!
Very poor. Very seldom reveals barcode using library wifi. I end up using mobile data, doing a screenshot of barcode and using that instead.
Very poorly designed and user interface. No functionlaity to copy and paste text or integration into a login management app.
Difficulty finding titles (dvds, books) that I know exist .... Or, the results displayed are in no way related to the title I'm searching for ...
Fail. Even though I'm logged in, when trying to hold an item, it won't let write my email in it, which is rather bizarre.
My first action as new libraries sa member was to attempt multiple times to connect to the claimed kanopy free streaming service but this portal won't recognise library card number and user pin combination. Fail.
Love this app, so easy to search and place holds. Only wish i could see my lists i have saved, have to login via web page to see them.
Please add the ability to remember login details. There's no way I'm going to look up my card number every time I want to use the app!
Thos is the best. I love that this is a thing in SA, great app and awesome service. I am very appreciative of it and recommend it to everyone.
Keeps coming up not connected to the internet when it is connected to the internet. I have tried 379 times to login to no avail.
Happy to be able to access my library account and library card from my phone. Is there any way that access personal lists from the library website can be a functionality added to the application?
Wonderfully easy and efficient app. Makes reading during COVID a breeze.
Minutes a star as it does not support library lists...
I find it hard to get support when you forget your log in or get a new device.
Easy to use. Love that i can manage the kids accounts too

One of the poorest designs I have ever seen
It's fantastic, so easy to use.
Really like this easy to use app. Didn't like the recent update that automatically changed my home library to one I only pick up books from. My home library is actually elsewhere and no option to change this setting. A real pain as I can't see the events now in my actual home library. Would suggest a wish list option to save books etc that can't be held or you want to borrow at a later stage.
