License Plate Games - Road Trip Fun

Great game. Easy, quick, and doesn't big down the phone. I love that you can sort the states by name, or by distance. Graphics are awesome to. I gave the app 3 stars, because of two key things I feel the game lacks. 1. The ability to remove a plate that was accidentally selected. 2. The biggest thing that the game lacks, is the ability to sort/hide/remove plates that have already been found from the ones that are left to find. It's harder to scroll through the list of 50, when looking for say 5

Makes a road trip more fun. We're two 50 y/o adults and every time we take a road trip we play this game. It really helps the time go by and it's alot of fun to compare your totals on different trips. We've used it for many years. Re: deleting a state - I just tried it and was able to. When you click a state, it shows up at the very bottom of your screen with a time stamp. If you click that box, it will give you a delete option.

My family has always enjoyed playing. license plate game in roadtrips. We used to just keep lists or color in a map, but this app allows us to keep a time-stamped list and colors in the map as we go. It has samples of the most common plate per US state and also has the Canadian provinces. This app is better than the other two I've tried before. We haven't done it yet, but it also gives you the ability to start myltiple games for keeing record of other trips, or competing within our family.

I downloaded this app for a roadtrip. It's the best license plate game that I have found. I love having the map that shows the states that have been found. And it's nice to see when each plate was found. Being able to save each game is great as well. The only thing I would have liked to see was a way to name each game. Having Game #1, #2, etc. feels rather impersonal. It would be nice to be able to say what each trip was.

Pretty nice, simple app. Does what it's described to do. For interest, I'd recommend adding alternative plate designs if possible. For example, Minnesota has several personal designs to choose from..it would add a little more interest in watching for plates in an area that may not have as many out-of-state visitors.

Pretty cool game! I love the facts that go along with the state. A couple things that I think would be a great addition: 1) include variations on the plates like old styles and 2) allow users to make their games like trip names or the month/year they played. Added bonus would be the ability to have a team share in the game and record who saw which plate, or even have competitions with friends or other teams.

Can't get better than this for license plate game. Would be cool to see the multiple variation of license plates state to state. Just because each state has multiple versions of their own license plate. Would also like to see the sample license plates updated to current logo and looks. Overall still an excellent app.

Works great so you don't have to write. Just click. Love the fun facts. Suggestions: be able to unchecked when wrong state was chosen, sort by states still needed, have each of the license plates within state, edit file name, and customize a few if you see other countries beside Canada(maybe just be able to hand write).

This is a great, simple app for road trips with the kids. I like the fun facts for each state. Based on our trip, I'd suggest the developer add an option to include Canadian license plates too. Update - now that I've had time to sit down and really look at it closely, they have already added Canada!

This app is very easy to use and I love how each state license plate you add will provide you with facts about the state. The option of having multiple games saved is great too. We used this on our US road trip honeymoon and saved each leg of the trip to look back at.

Unfortunately, when you accidentally check a state on this game, that you did not mean to check, there is no way to uncheck it. A very design basic flaw. I'm not going to use this until it's fixed. Also, I would like the option to be checking off Canadian providences in the same game. As long as this game has been around and as simple as it is from an application programming prospective it amazes me that no one has yet come up with a really solid app for this game. Back to paper and pen.

I love this. So glad it has Canada's too. One suggestion is to allow to uncheck a state if you checked it by accident. Maybe a three step process to uncheck a mistake because in a car it is easy to make a mistake while the car is moving around.

I love roadtrips, but there always comes a point when boredom takes over....this game is perfect :) My husband totally gets into it, going as far as driving through the parking lot at the Biltmore trying to find more states. I recently got my sister hooked on the game as well. Good clean fun!

This game definitely added entertainment to our trip. Very fun and distracted the kids from the 7h drive a bit. Love that we were able to do US and Canada. My only complaint is that we added one state accidentally and could not remove it. Overall a great game.

I enjoyed using the app License Plate Game however, it would be appreciated if one were able to rename past games played. Also, it might be nice to have additional plates such as US Territories. Graphics are really terrific.

We enjoyed playing on our way home. I would suggest updating to keep track of every plate you mark (along with how many different states). Then the lots could compete with each other to see whos paying better attention or once we pass/get past 100 plates we can stop some other challenge

It's a fun, simple travel game but after having to reset my phone back to factory default, this was the only app I had that did not restore my saved settings, so I lost my entire game. Are you planning on incorporating cloud saves in future releases?

Great app. My family and I go on long trips to Florida and this was a perfect way to make it fun. I noticed a lot of the reviews said that they could not delete states that they clicked but I am able too.

Good simple app. I use this to keep track of my license plate collection. There needs to be an option to backup your game to an sd card, and a way to export the list so people can have a copy of the lists.

I use this app for every road trip I go on. You can start/save multiple games. Simple and easy. It's fun to look back to see how many states we got on previous trips.

It's a good app, the license plate game is fun on road trips and keeping track on my phone is much easier than paper. I do recommend options for adding US territories and maybe more countries. I have seen plates from Guam, American Samoa, US Federal plates, and even a car wjth a plate from Bahrain.

The ability to see what you've found on the map at a glance is nice and the interface is simple and easy to use. Does what it should and does it well..without any unnecessary frills.

So far so good but there aren't any Canadian plates and we have seen a TON of semis from Canada. EDIT Well, swat my hind with a melon rind. You CAN add Canadian provinces! Just tap the little circle on the upper left of the map. Very nice app. 🙂

Really like the game, but it could be improved by adding additional countries or locales. I just spotted a 4D custom UK tag here in the US and would love to add it to my list.

I am assuming the color variations happen based on plates found on a daily basis. It would be amazing if the color bar on the state names matched the color on the map. I have an ongoing game going all the time.

Love it! We can track all the state plates and look back on each trip. Love the color map for easy reference.

Easy to use. Enjoy learning about each state's motto, bird, flower. The map is fun, too, to see it change as you get more license plates.

Simple to play. Need to add neuvo Leon (mexico), the Indian reservations, (Yakima reservation). I like the straight forward, simple interface, thank you

Super easy to use. Love the facts about the states. Love that there is a time stamp for each entry just wish there was a location stamp too.

It's almost exactly what I have been looking for. The only thing missing is a list of all the states different license plates, so you can pick the ones you've seen. Also there are plates like Navajo Nation that are not on the app. Jus a couple things to work on. Thanks for the app
