Lidl - Offers & Leaflets

Would not allow me to register with a local store. Kept showing a store across the Irish Sea as my local store. Couldn't find an option to register either. Removed app from phone.

The app is not user friendly. Categories to be included. After choosing the country there should be option to choose the app language as well. Difficult for foreigners to use the app in local language.

I've shopped at Lidl since 1972 , first in Germany then England and now spain. It's a wonderful shopping experience and love the idea that every shop is laid out the same, so wherever I go to a different area from mine , I know exactly where everything is . I also love browsing through the centre aisles, always something useful to buy. I just love LIDL .

Leaflet problem. The view gets smaller and you have to scroll up& down in order to set the zoom to max again. It used to work properly. I believe they did in purpose because it works well on lidl plus app and they want us to use lidl plus for statistics instead of this.

I uninstalled this app, I used to like it but it takes too much memory and for me has exactly the same functionality like the web page. The app would be useful if it had the possibility to download all the info and display them offline or, with a higher speed. It worked only with an internet connection. One of the stores nearby, already selected from list as preferred selling point, had a very good offer for a limited product but the app didn't show it to me, as the offer was valid only for that selling point. I don't see the reason to use the app over the web page. For marking preferred items? No thanks.

Some very useful features such as downloading of the weekly magazines, facility to favourite shopping list items and recipe ideas. A scan as you shop feature would be a welcome addition to the app (particularly for those of us without cars or easily accessible public transport!). At the moment the app is user friendly but could do with a few tweaks.

I was forced to update app this morning (5.5.2022) and now the prices are in Euros even though my selected country is UK and I am in the UK. What is going on?! If you mess up the app after each update why update at all? Your developers/app updaters need better training.

would be great if outdated products on the shopping list disappeared automatically when not available anymore. otherwise you have a list full of unavailable products and you need to scroll down to the actual list

You cannot change the language to English when selecting a non English speaking country..

I don't like the latest update it messes with how it looks like on my phone..... never had a problem before why make one now ? Please restore the previous version this one is ugly and user unfriendly

Hello, anybody out there? Is it normal to search "bisquits" and have as result something else?? Please put some efforts and make this app useful. Search bar can't find anyting, shopping list cannot be saved... so we can only read the weekly leaflet.

Just a glorified leaflet reader. You can not see all of the products that are available, just the already existent magazines you can get from the store. Also can not scan a certain item with your phone to find out the price. The 'Shopping Cart' is just another overly hyped feature. It's a basic notepad. You can search for a certain product though. And it will try and find it, but it usually fails if you don't know what you are looking for.

I cannot get the small app on main screen I have to go to Google and load every time and I'm not going to stand at a till messing around on phone while trying to pay at same time

Rubbish at the moment! Never had problems with it, and just as I'm trying to look through the upcoming offers so I can measure things at home, it keeps telling me to update to the latest version. Which I have, and it's still ot letting me use the app. Have tried clearing cache, force stop, uninstall and download again from scratch, to no avail. Not happy.

Can't download the Lidl Plus app for UK.. says not available on my country?!!!!! I had the app on other phone & benefited from discounts.. now I can't! Very annoying 😒

Too bad i cannot select a country without changing the language 😕, it should be a simple feature to add !

I can find and buy almost easily despite three problems; first, the app doesn't run with English language when the country is Germany. Second, when I get to the offer pages then to a specific product, when I press back botton it returns to the first page of the app which is pretty annoying and time consuming when I want to check another product available in offer. Third, the app is not directly compatible with the Finger Print Log-in of Paypal. Good luck!

Today a red "X" appeared and asked me to update the app, but after updating it, it still won't load and the same "X" message appears and is stuck like that... I uninstalled and re-installed it, but now it says there is no connection to the server, although my internet is working just fine. I have uninstalled the app because I lost my shopping list anyway. -_- Please fix this!

Overall just an average app. Kaufland has a better one and offers loyalty discounts. This app is only good for reading the leaflets, but you're better off using pen and paper, instead of their shopping list. The search function gives weird results, and sometimes none.

Although the principle is great, you need to check that the coupon is valid for the item you are purchasing. I bought some fish as the coupon claimed to be valid for the whole Ocean Sea range. At the till, no deduction was made, and when I queried it with the assistant, she agreed that the product was in the correct range so there should have been a deduction. I contacted Customer Service as she suggested, but they said my item was not included in the offer, although did not explain why the coupon stated it was valid for the full range of products.

It would be great if it was possible to select the kind of diet one has. I'm vegan and more than 90% of what the app shows me is meat, fish, dairy products and products that have these as ingredientes. Which makes it almost totally useless, except for the weekly promotions of non-food stuff. That's why I only give it three stars. It could be so much more useful!

I don't understand what it does. Just promo and no loyalty customer QR choice like in Finland. Not good.

Load of rubbish. I've wasted loads of time trying to get this app. Zapped it today in my local store .Spent over £84 then got the'sorry' message! Furious!

Pathetic! You'd think such a simple app was easy to implement. Obviously not! Notifications don't work, it crashes all the time, it doesn't show the date on which they are available on individual products, so you have to go back to the group page to remember when was the campaign starting... Lidl should get serious, this is really shameful...what's the point?!

this app used to be good, but the shopping list has been buggy for months. Mostly unresponsive: back button doesn't work, tapping an item from your shopping list doesn't work, etc. It also doesn't warn you a product is only available online, so you go to the shop for nothing.
