Good app, would be good if the menu items could be translated to phones default language, in my case English. Some restaurants do give menu in English, would be good if these could be a filter option.
Very bad support service. The food I ordered never reached me because the bell didn't work and the rider called the wrong phone number. After a call with the support service, they agreed to send me again my order but it was taking long, so I checked several times with them. They had me waiting 2h for the food, which finally never arrived ("is on the way, wait 10 min more" again and again). The company refuses to pay me back for an order, I never received. I'm deleting the app.
There are annoying bugs, e.g., the shopping cart disappearing if you navigate around. Where it happens all the time: open the app, repeat a previous order, the shopping cart will show up, you can remove entries but not adding new ones. There's no button to checkout at the bottom if you close the cart. Since ordering food via app is your one major use case, you should really focus more on QA and edge cases around it.
Payment issues causing customers to lose vouchers. So, a payment got cancelled due to a wrong password entered on the provider site. Not an issue, one might think. However, on retry the app told me that my stamp pass is no longer valid, as "I did not have credit balance" on my previous approach. So, basically I got ripped off.
There is no clear way to see if a restaurant is closed or not. After you place an order there is no easy way to find your open order in the app - it should pop up automatically but instead it's super annoying you have to go search for it multiple times every time you reopen the app to check the status of the oder.
First order was terrible. I was unable to create an order without creating an account first (field for entering email address was greyed out & empty and i had to go look in the settings, even then i received no confirmation email). I had to log out, try to sign in & reset pw, cause apparently i already somehow registered once before? Paygate also looks like from 2010, its long known that the card type depends on the card Nr, so why do i have to pick the type first? At least the food is coming.
Great food at great prices! Loved the food delivery on ordering from the comfort of home.
The payment option takes a long time to finalize even after being completed in external bank apps. The compensation you get for a cancelled order is not worth it!
Horrible experience. Let's me choose dish details, before telling me that place is closed. Why are the closed restaurants even in the search results / not marked or at the bottom of the results? When changing payment method voucher expires for 24 hours, why the hell....?? Will think again about ordering in the future...
It really depensd on what you are looking for inside an App. If you like additional options while ordering, only a few are given using this app. In my usual restaurant, when calling, you can change side dishes, free of charge, or swap ingredients. An option where you can call them quickly would be nice, additionally to the note you can type. Else: A straightforward App that works well. Interface is responsive. Payment methods are plenty. Shows min value to order and delivery fee. 4/5.
Full of bugs, especially the way the address is saved and the way the address is auto-completed for orders. I've addressed the issues to customer service and they just ignored my complaint and the bugs still persist.
Very nice and useful app! However I have issues paying with Klarna. As I have to switch to the bank app to verify the money transaction, the Lieferando app "forgets" my order when I switch back. So I am unable to order food with my smartphone only, I always need a second device.... It would be nice, if this issue could be fixed.
I hate this app! Automatic app closure each time (when you need to check your verification code, add credit card, etc), 5 star ratings when google has only 2.5, and it is impossible to find restaurant you like and order, since there is no search by restaurant name. Each order is tideous, takes ridiculous amount of time and makes me want to kill myself :(((((((
Stupid app for a company which claims to be leader in food delivery business. The food tracker never works always some or the other error. Takes the last delivery address even when you search from a different address. The food delivery never happens at the said duration always at least 30 minutes late, no option to contact anyone when help needed.
I usually order pizzas with at least 3 toppings, so that's nearly impossible to do when I'm talking to someone who doesn't speak my language. Additionally, I'm an introvert, meaning that ordering by phone is already a nightmare. Thank god you don't have to speak. Also, there's so many options and payment methods on this app, so I don't even have to struggle with getting out my money and taking my order at the same time. I can't think of anything that needs improvement. ^^
Very bad functionality. Payment via Paypal or credit card or debit card barely works. It will either not work or you will get charged twice. Cannot even properly configure the profile as email field is bugged. Timer is completely wrong and sometimes you order and wait forever as it never tells you that this place is closed!. Stay away of this app!!!
I'm sorry but the delivery times are always wrong, it's unbearable. It starts out with an estimate delicery time of 30 minutes, the clock ticks down to 14 min, next time I look it's up again at over 30 min. It happens all the time and it seems like other people had the same experience. The Foodtracker is useless, take a few engineers, a product manager and whatever stakeholder needs to be involved and fix it. Competitors like Mjam got it way more accurate!
Not very happy. (year+ User) The Stample Card is not available to see in the mobile app, only via website, I also ordered from restaurants multiple times without it changing (Staying the same number of stamps over multiple order periods). If you have a problem during payment or with a vaucher well, they gave me a 10 euro one, but after I complained again about vaucher being void bcs some error during order or payment process, they just ignored me from then. Other apps have clear policies
Many times it happened that items were missing from my order; it was very difficult to contact the customer service to get refunds and than they also offered courtesy vouchers that didn't work. It's a bit of a gamble with this thing.
The app is usually good and efficient, you can easily place an order and that had before with one tap. Just recently it hasn't been opening and crashes directly :/ Update : the app works again now!
Changes the delivery adress to something completely random on every third order. You then have to pay the "extra delivery fee" every time they drive to one of the (wrong) random adresses. straight up a scam, not even a good one.
Since recently a lot of restaurants that I normally order from have the wrong opening times. When I call the restaurant directly they tell me that they work fine and can deliver. But I cannot order with lieferando because it shows up closed. I don't like that I cannot order from my favorite places anymore, but I imagine the restaurants that loose customers should be even more unhappy than I am.
Well designed and working properly, no crashes or unnecessary lagging. The fact that paying with PayPal was so easy and worked like a charm was an additional positive surprise to me. I'm really looking forward to see the Google Pay integration go line in Austria. Five stars so far!
Super Well optimised app! Pretty intuitive. Only thing I would like to see is if there was a way to change the order within the basket! Also, I wish there was a dark theme! 🌚 Loving the app apart from that.
Had them cancel my order 50min after accepting my order and then all other decent restaurants close. Also never apologize or anything stay away!!!
I was so disappointed when I tried to redeem my points and from 275 points that I had, I would have been left with 75 points since the voucher costed 200 points. Not only the support didn't reply to my issue, but I also requested to delete my account due to that fact. I am so disappointed with Lieferando's team and support, since I used the app a lot for my daily needs. It's a shame that I have to switch to their competitors such as Mjam and try to find the quality service they once had.
Order accepted. 45 minutes delivery time. Everybody waiting. Order is cancled no explanation delivery time passed. Order vanishes from the app afterwards. There should be communication and explanations if something like this happens. Cancellations at the end of the order shouls incure penalties for the place ordered from. But if you order from this app you'll might just end up without food after an hour.
