Life Application Study Bible

My preferred day-to-day Bible reading app. Sometimes the last line of a chapter is covered by the bottom menu, not sure if that's the app or my phone but I have to turn my phone in order to read it. Also maybe I just can't find it but the addition of a "bookmark" feature for going back to verses and chapters I wish to study would really put this app over the edge.

Needs a way better U.I. after that's done, I'll change my rating. It's $20.00 just for the app with a ridiculous looking U.I. and a store not well integrated enough with the Bibles available for more $$$(purchase) Plus, no deals, on these study Bibles(although you have the ability to use some of them for free, and even stream them for free). Also, want to see the ability to change the background color. I'm expecting a major update, after that, I'll change my rating.

the app does not allow highlighting of text in the study notes which is a waste. Also i find mysrlf reading the whole chapter before referring to the study notes. it would be good that i can read the scriptures and refer to the study notes concurrently. it can be done but you need to hold the phone in landscape mode which makes it difficult to read. i suggest a feature where yoi can tap on an icon in the scripture verse to reveal the stufy notes.

This is a remarkable and outstanding app! It is very user friendly and has many excellent features and options! I love how when you turn your phone sideways, you can have the study notes in one column, synchronized with the scriptures you are reading. Also the daily verse that it delivers to your phone to meditate on all day long. Very inspiring! This is by far the best app I have ever had on my phone. Well worth the cost!

Notes teach what the meaning of specific chapters and verses are from all sides, as well as history of each book. It also gives facts about each book. One issue I've had is every now and then the full chapter I am reading won't show, some is cut off at the bottom. Believe I have found a way around that and it has worked ever since.

This app is wonderful, it allows me to have two different versions of the Bible open at once. And switching to another Bible is so easy. LOVE THIS BIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can have as many bibles as I want. As long as I have enough memory on my tablet. For church services if our pastor is using a different Bible I am able to look up that Bible and read also with him, and compare it to the Bible I normally read. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!!!!!

This is a wonderful Bible app. It has helped me dive deep into Scripture. I especially like all of the resources and other titles that can be downloaded from Tecarta. The ability to switch between versions and study notes assists greatly in understanding and applying the Word of God.

Best app ever. It's replaced my regular premium Bible. I love that with 1 click I can see and compare other versions. Highlight, take notes, bookmark, and more is all there. I read the daily devotional or follow the 1 year reading plan. Anything you can think of it's here. Works flawlessly!

A great program w/many extra but easy to use features like: bookmarks,highlighting,notes etc. For me I love these features but mostly I like the language used, I'm awful at reading and understanding parables. I use to think I understood a passage, then ppl more knowledgeable than me would explain it and I was way off, here I feel I understand more.

The whole app is easy to follow and very comprehensive. Excellent that I can purchase additional versions and study guides as and when needed. I use this extensively when planning and leading church services, as well as using it for my personal studies and devotions. I thoroughly recommend downloading the app and trying it out.

I have limited space on my samsung tablet so I moved the app to the external card and it started crashing everytime I tried to open it. So I've moved it back to the internal memory but now I have the space issue, Otherwise, its a decent app and a good deal for the Life application Bible notes. Also, I'm not a big fan of the NLT translation but again, a great price for the app.

Very helpful app. It will help you go deeper into God's word. But you really need to study first yourself the Holy Scriptures before going to this app, this should be a secondary tool. You need to spend time and ask the Holy Spirit first to let you understand the Holy Scriptures. Through this app, it will give you a lot of confirmations of what the Lord speak to You through His word. Thank you for the people behind this project. I would surely recommend this to my brethrens. The Life Application Study Bible is a must have for believers who seek to have good understanding of the Word of God. I have been using the Hard copy of it, and have added this mobile version also. I can study on the go having enough resources at my disposal.

I have been reading NLT Life Application (printed one) since 2006. It is very useful resource among the Study Bibles. I am very new to use this apps. This apps is very good tools and study resource. I will be more satisfy if few things improve and add to this apps. 1. If we can read the both pages of Bible and the study notes/ commentary at the same time,side by side. 2.Cross references be added inside the page or side of he page. 3. Dictionary need to inbuilt along with this apps. 4. All the content view should be on the same page. Thank you for making this apps available for everyone.

Excellent digital bible. Only flaw I continually run into is that, although you can "go back" to as many previous verses you had referenced, there is no easy to "go forward" again to more recent verses. This is a particularly significant flaw when following my pastor going through a book of the bible and has you reference a verse and then return to the original text. Frustrating.

I'm new to reading the Bible. I know some of the stories it tells and lessons it teaches, but this app has been a blessing for me. It is easy to read and has footnotes/tabs that you can click on to get a better grasp of what you are reading. This app will be my go to for all Bible study from now on.

Good but could be better. The explanations could be directly interlinked with the text and individual verse. Also tapping on a word should be able to allow you to do things such as indexing and concordance. Price could also be a little lower.

I use this app every day, being able to instantly change from one translation to another opens up scriptures in a wonderful way. The daily verses and devotions from a variety of sources looks at different verses from a range of perspectives that I find enriching. The highlight function that stores verses across translations makes returning to verses that speak to me available as never before.

I love that it's pretty much exactly like the one I got for my 15th birthday, but digital. Even more; I love the available versions. I wish the message was available, but 12+ is good. I do wish when I highlight a verse in NIV that it transfered it to NASB, Amplified, and the others. I take notes and there's an icon that shows me there's a note on that verse. It's great! ... and customer service is too

I love this app. All of the different commentaries and translations available give me many options to really dig into the word of God. My only issue is with the margin notes. I wish the window was bigger so that I didn't have to scroll constantly When I'm reading it. Other than that , it's awesome!

I love this app. It has me excited about reading my bible and studying the word again. It's easy to use, switching from the bible to the study portion is just 1 click. Highlighting and adding notes is quick and easy, once you figure out what all the symbols mean.

I don't like the NLT, but was pleased that through in-app purchase I could buy other translations. I love the life application notes, maps, and book overviews. I also liked that I could buy other commentaries to use in the app. It didn't take long to figure out how to navigate through and use the resources available. This will be a great help to anyone wanting a closer relationship with God. I highly recommend it!

Good replacement for my heavy hard copy. But have to turn my mobile device to landscape to see the scripture and life application notes at the same time. Would be great if developer could find a way to make it work in portrait mode too.

I have this bible in book form and it is an excellent resource. I have learnt so much since I started using it, but because it has so much information in it, it is very heavy and not suitable for trips away. I don't usually pay for apps and was a bit anxious after reading reviews of other versions. I am so glad I took the chance with this one. I would advise reading all the instructions at the beginning, if you do this then you should be able to navigate around the site quite easily. Excellent!

The app is good but, I had a problem during the downloading because after the first deduction, my network was good, I cancelled and downloaded again and they deducted me the second time meaning double deduction from my account. The second thing I want to Know is that, can you save it on a different machine? Or it's stored in your Google account and can be installed anytime you change a device?

There's a learning curve but it's easy to learn how to navigate the app and access the bible commentary section. Also, holding the phone horizontally displays the bible text and commentary side by side.

Had the book before the app. Love it Would like to have more options with audio voice. I use it when I'm traveling but I don't like the music with KJV. I like the CBS audio voice. Updates are looking good 👍

I have found out how to use the commentary. I love being able to easily go from my bible to commentary. I especially love the cross reference feature. It is awsome when we are in bible study just to tap the word and get what the info I need fast. Enjoy studying the Word of God with this bible, but I would like to know how to use it on my laptop also. Thank You.

The Life Application Study Bible does everything an excellent resource bible should. Most importantly it helps me apply the word to my everyday life. I've been using this bible for many years and I was a very happy camper when they transformed it to an app on my mobile device. Well worth the price and in my opinion the best bible on the planet and has been for many years.
