I don't usually like this type of game but the personalities of the characters are extremely deep and interesting, choices are abundant in how you want to proceed, and even if there are a few misspells here and there, (I caught 3 or 4 in a 5h game) the writing is great and the interface simple to get a hold of. I consider this game like a TV show but interactive. You should definitely check it out for yourself !!

The new ads on this game have ruined it. Not only are the ads long that doesn't make any sense you have to keep clicking back several times to get through them. You can't just click on the X, it just keeps putting you back on Facebook adds over and over. And tick tock. Long adds. It's ridiculous and I bought Choice games and Hosted games b4 and later not been able to get access to them. Don't waste your time.

I had the game rated 5 stars. But now after the update the game has fallen from grace. So many bugs. Like not registering choices properly, submiting one and registering another in the dialogue; doesnt start well; i cant even play it offline anymore which was one of the reasons i liked the game so much; and the one that really annoys me so much is that it doesnt restart the game while offline, and even when online it buggs out sometimes. Im really sad this has happened. If there was a button to revert back updates this game would need a big one. Hope it fixes soon. =)

Interesting Game. Very immersive with the ability to develop relationships with characters. Liked it a lot.

This game is exactly what it's meant to be. The perfect blend of a "choose your own adventure" and text-based RPG. The story is rich, immersive, and wonderful. The game play is easy to navigate, the choices make you really invest in the story, and the difficulty setting is perfectly tuned. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

An examplery piece of interactive fiction, the choose your own to inspire all others. Diplomacy, stealth, strategy, of brute force, it's your call and you train your character to make yourself even better at it. If there is anything they could do to improve the experience, 'twould be to correct some minor typos. I personally also wasn't a fan of the 3d animation but there's not much of it and that's just a personal preference. All in all an excellent job!

The game is decent. Story wise, it's great. The biggest issues I have with it are the large amount of grammer and spelling mistakes (it seems to be completely unedited) as well as the checkpoint system. It feels like I am reading a draft, rather than a finished product. The checkpoint system is awful and completely unnecessary. There's absolutely no purpose in making your readers completely restart a text based game. It offers no benefit to gameplay and only proves to frustrate the readers.

For being a free story, this is absolutely awesome. There are some minor spelling and grammar mistakes, and the art may not be the best at times (some are great though). Your choices do have an impact on the story, and the limited checkpoint uses gives a sense of weight to your choices (some would count it as a con, but IMO it's a designer choice). If I had the means, I would support the author by buying the game, but I can't. So, instead I leave you with a recommendation and a "More Please!"

A thrilling text based adventure which gives plenty of options that contribute to its replayability. Unlike many other text based games, the entire game is free. Which is a big plus. I got several hours of playability and I will get several more. The characters are likeable, the plots are interesting and it has varying scenarios (which are also free). My only criticism is that the grammar and spelling isn't always correct, but nonetheless it is still completely playable.

i absolutely adored this story. It was fun, but still had its ups and downs. Having your stats play a roll in a missions success or failure definitely adds to the challenge and spending wisely can be the difference in being completely successful or failing miserably. I think my two complaints are thr fact that some missions can only be completed if done in the correct order and some of the upgrades don't seem to affect the overall game. Beyond this, it is a fun ait down and read adventure.

For a story based game that relies almost entirely on writing the grammar and spelling is terrible. Each page has at least one mistake. That's not the main problem, the problem is a lack of choice. It feels like the story was designed with specific choices in mind and then all other choices were an afterthought. Occasionally a picture will appear to show a castle or, more commonly, a person. The pictures they choose are your typical fantasy pictures, which is to say, over the top and impractical

I have a lot of fun with this game. I love a text based adventure. However, in trying to scroll up through your options, far too many times one has been selected as I'm trying to scroll up leaving me with no choice but to deal with whatever fate my finger scrolled up on. In a game that won't let you go back and it says you lose points for loading a save point (haven't tried yet), this is an incredibly frustrating feature.

Awesome game, great gameplay. Really got sucked in and ended up playing hours. Interesting story and gameplay. Love the relationship management and strategy in the game. Just really wish there was a way to buy checkpoint tokens. Had 6 hours of gameplay and had to restart because I used the 2 checkpoint tokens and made a fatal mistake. But I guess that's what makes them special.

Overall love these types of games, and this one is exceptional. Interesting storyline, tons of choices, etc. The game itself is good, but the reason i give 2 stars is because of an absolutely infuriating bug. After getting through a good portion of the game, it suddenly freezes. When i reopen it, it tells me the game updated and restartes the chapter. Nonmatter what i did i just got the same darn screen. Very frustrating, please fix this.

This is the best... one of the best adventure games I've played! *cough* The Great Tournament, Swamp Castle and Imprisoned *cough* I love that there are so many references here and there about previous games, and also for the fact that there are just so many endings to discover! I've found a several glitches that don't affect the gameplay too much, but they're still quite annoying. I also found one that helps out in the battling aspect, where you can sorta cheat the health stat *ahem*

Game is great so far, though at the moment it's frozen on the page where it asks me who to leave in charge of the castle. Not quite sure on how to solve this issue. I'm unaware if the game saves when you go off of the app or if you must wait for another checkpoint. I really don't wanna lose progress over something like this soooo a quick answer would be nice.

Great story, however there are a lot of grammar errors and misuse of certain words. Furthermore, I'm unable to play the game now because after getting started on the Liza mission, it states "The game has updated, restarting chapter" no matter what I try (aside from restarting) then takes me back to the stats screen. I've restarted the app, my device, and looked to see if there was an update available on the play store, but to no avail.

I love these games. They are a ton of fun to play and have plenty of re-play value considering the sheer amount of choices it allows you to make. My only problem is the checkpoint system. I was honestly suprised that they were nice enough to provide one at all this time, but it's a little broken. I never got any of my save tokens subtracted when I spent them, and each time I died, I never recieved an option to revert to my checkpoint so I was forced to restart anyway.

It's really good! Though I don't like how it rushes you into things and all that. The one thing that I really like about this is that you don't have to pay for it. Instead you can watch some ads that come at a very slow bearable pace. I REALLY WISH that other interactive novels would do this rather then outright making you pay or making you have to work up some currency and having to watch a ton of ads that wouls definitely give them more money then the cost of the game itself.

The ideas behind the game were great and I loved the tie-ins with other games made by this author. However, there are many, mant spelling and grammatical mistakes that really hold this one back. The platform is also bugged to the point that it lags considerably for no real reason. Overall, a decent game and has given me several hours of enjoyment, despite numerous great flaws. Also, don't expect any help. I have one achievement left, but can't find any resources to help with figuring it out! :<

The story is littered with grammar and spelling errors. Additionally, the prose is very weak. Specifically, POV errors are very common and a lot is "told" instead of "shown". Gameplay-wise, important choices are made for the player quite often. Other mechanics work pretty well and the rng makes it fun to do the encounters. I completed the game, but would not recommend others to do the same.

Spelling. Errors. Galore. The game itself has been fun to play. But almost every page has an error. The writing is average and sometimes with the swearing I feel like it's not true to the time period its writing for. It is a bummer to pay for something that appears to not be edited. At the very least being able to save whenever you want if you buy the game should be a thing. I get If you don't buy it..but come on. Once errors are fixed and buyers of the game can save whenever I will add stars.

To be honest, this is probably one of the most addictive game I have ever played. It really does wing up your imagination! However, if I had to complain about something is about how you go onto a campaign somewhat too soon. Perhaps if we had 2 months, we'd be able to do much more and end it without much sense of regret. One thing that left me a bit sad was not being able to fully upgrade by castle (bedrooms, etc) without compromising other important stuff. Despite this, I give a perfect 5 stars!

Ihe. A. Sep 1, 2019

Cool game. Would have been better if you had an inventory where you could keep all the stuff you collect during the game so you could use them or trade them. Also it would have been exciting if you had the ability to switch your castle with ones you buy from a catalogue or something. That way collecting money would be more important. And there need to be more mercenary members you could chose from. One more thing, the images are dull I suggest they get removed.

Putting down this review for now. There are some spelling and grammar mistakes, while you should be able to understand it, it's still not an excuse to tolerate the amount of mistakes. Also, for some reason, sometimes the game would choose an option before I even pressed on the button which is incredibly annoying, especially since there's no save system.

Man. S. Aug 9, 2019

Overall a very immersive and good story telling with well written characters. What got me off and I think it's the same with everyone are the grammatical, punctuation and sentence structure mistakes/errors. I would highly recommend the devs to fix these errors and THEN maybe have the ad free version because otherwise the product/game is not worth the money. Another thing is the UI design especially when it comes to scroll down. I remember accidentally selecting the different options instead.
