Life Reminders

Seems to work okay, EXCEPT that I can't dismiss the reminder. When I say 'dismiss' or 'done' the app just continually pops up the reminder until I delete it. Apart from that, I would have given it 5 stars, because it's one of the few apps that allows you to select your own sound rather than the phones standard notification sound. Also allows you to select a specific time and pre alert, whereas most other apps force you to have every reminder at the same time of the day (ie 5pm each day)

A must have app! This is what I've been missing on all my phones to date. Lets you create reminders by date and allows reoccurring ones. Notifications can be just a single sound or a constant barrage until you acknowledge it. If there's one thing I would change, it's to allow you to select your notification sound so it'll be unique. Right now, all notifications from this app blend in with every other notification I get.

Generally the app does what I am looking for, set an alarm for a specific date. Unfortunately no sound plays in vibrate/silent mode, even when enabled in the settings. Also the language selection in the menu does not work, the app is always on system language. So, as long as the sound does not work I have to look for another app like this.

A very nicely done app. Meet most of the usual reminders requirements and many configurable parameters. My only complain is that the transferring of the data from the old to the new device is very troublesome because you have to disable the "sync" functionality. Not sure why the developers cannot just download the data from Dropbox directly.

When it works it's fine. Sometimes it does, mostly it doesn't. Have a daily alarm set for every evening on my galaxy S10 and an iPhone. The iPhone reminder works every time. This one depends on what mood it is in. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but will sound a reminder if I open the phone or sound later than the selected time. It's a lottery.

I checked out many, many apps and different platforms, from Google, to Microsoft, Samsung, David. The app you have created and spent a great deal of time on is by far the best. Easy to navigate, simple to use, user friendly. Most of the work is already done, only adding text in each note is the only work left. Thank you somuch for what you have created.

Great app, which I've been using for years... But PLEASE get rid of the pop-up advertisement. It appears just as I'm starting to type in my reminder, so I accidentally click on it and open it. Not cool guys.... Edit: Demoted to 1 star, due to the continuation of the sneaky pop-up ad after you've begun typing the reminder name. I hit it every time. Shame on you.

Was a really good app, used it for years. But now it is a real pain because of the timing of the ads that pop up, usually just as you're typing. I often then accidentally cluck on the screen just as an ad opens, this often takes me to a webpage and then more clicks to close down the nuisance pages. Doesn't sound like much but it's a real pain as it happens almost every time I use the app. I'm going to uninstall and find an alternative

I've been using this app for a very long time and have been completely satisfied. Its very useful. However, eversince I've upgraded to a Samsung S20+, I can't seem to adjust / lower the notification volume. I've tried doing it in app and on my phone settings and it still doesn't change the volume. It's really loud! I sent a complaint via the app but didn't get a response. I deleted the app and will try reinstalling. If this problem continues I'll have to use another app unfortunately.

No improvement for Am/Pm selection color in the new update as well. Please improve the visual indication of what is selected for AM/PM in "Pick a time..." dialog. In dark mode it is especially difficult to understand at a glance what has been selected. A Circle behind the AM/PM would be great indicator. Same goes for hours:minutes. The gray/white color differentiator is just too subtle to get quickly. Thanks for a great app.

Slick clean intuitive and easy-to-use this is the first Reminders app that I found that actually was smart enough to group notifications that makes perfect sense for situations where multiple tasks need to be reminded at the same time. Rather than firing off 20 separate notifications, you can fire up one group notification. That intuition combined with the easy ability to copy to meet schedule task reminders, as well as here a voice reminder, makes this one of the most effective apps out there

I just recently bought a new phone and decided this would be a good time to maybe change some things up. Life Reminders is app I"ve used literally everyday for a long time. So I decided to look around at some other programs. I downloaded and tested about a half dozen other apps, all better rated mind you, and came to the realization that Life Reminders is the best one for me. It has a lot of really good settings and features that the others apps hust don't have. Definitely, give it a try!

Fairly good. Could be better with searchable reminders. 12 Feb 2020 Lately I'm using a Realme XT that runs ColorOS 6 (Android 9). Although notification and alarm related settings are all turned on for this app, the alarm for reminders doesn't go off on time, also the "repeat alarm" feature doesn't work. Battery optimization is off, in fact I have "high performance mode" turned on. Other apps don't seem to be having this problem. Any suggestions/advice welcome.

UPDATE: I found a fix... Other apps that actually work. Your fixes don't work unless you keep the app open. Original review: The auto-send texts feature is gone, and since the notifications NEVER work correctly, a lot of messages I had scheduled never sent and I didn't know. My messenger app schedules texts and sends them, and my calendar app doesn't fail to send notifications, so I'm now using them to remind me to re-send recurring messages instead. Uninstalled.

No Sound and It Blocks Future Reminders - Originally, I loved this application. Slowly, but surely, it started deteriorating. First, if I failed to acknowledge a reminder, it would block all future reminders until I went back and clicked on the missed reminder. Then, when I went to the Galaxy S10+, no matter what adjustments I made, it would NEVER sound the assigned notification sound. I'm going to have to try some others now.

This is really great. I can make my schedule everytime! I recommend this if you need plans or schedules. But i have complaints though, too many ads, and it tells me to rate this app even if i already did. Its really annoying but its just two problems after all. I hate the fact that i am lazy and a forgetful person. I wanna change and have a good start. This app really inspires me. This should'nt be only part of the apps. It should also inspire people about what they need to do. This is the best.

I love the app but lately it stopped working. I set my reminders and they don't pop up. They show up when I check to be sure I set them but nothing happens. I saw another review saying the same thing. Is there a fix? If not a reminder app that doesn't remind is useless. Update - what's happening is that the app keeps turning off on its own. Not on no good. I've heard nothing from the developer to fix it so I guess I'll have to find another app. Bummer

Can't edit a reminder due to Ad switching with this latest update.. Every time I need to edit a reminder it kicks me back to the main page. It happens immediately when ads are switching to a different ad and it causes a never ending loop when trying to the hit edit button. I hate this app now and had it for years. Will be looking for another alternative.

*Issue has not been fixed on update* Full-screen ads that are hard to exit now pop up right as you're about to type what the reminder is for - extremely disruptive, can make you forget what you're even making the reminder about (defeating the whole point of the app!). Ads would be better put at ANY other place in the app. Developer said it would be fixed, but months go by and it's not. Then they just say pay for ad-free. This app worked fine for years, but now I've switched to a different app

This is a no nonsense app that is perfect for those like me (the over 60 crowd) that just want to be reminded of recurring and upcoming events. I don't need an app that turns the lights on at 7:00 or turns the coffee pot on 10 minutes before I get home. I just want it to remind me of specific events. That's it. This is very straightforward and user friendly. It's perfect!

Nice app. I have used it for years. I think it does need a cleaner-less confusing interface. The one thing I really want is the option to create a reminder for every other day. (Creating a reminder for S-T-T-S causes Saturday and Sunday to be together every week.) My pet has to take a Med every other day and I cannot create a reminder for that.

Still one of the top best, I have tried others and while some may have better features than this one, I feel like Life Reminders works better. Reminders are always on time, categories are a great feature, many snooze options, works on smart watch and the sync feature across devices is the main reason I came back to this app. Keep up the great work Devs!

This is a great app. Would be awsome if you could add an option for selecting to show the time one saves a note. For example, a reminder shows when it was saved (if selected). You save a reminder for a year from now, when you see it pop up, you connect with yourself when u put it in. Also helps if you have multiple reminders for Jan 1, and can see the timeline they were entered in. Maybe your most recent ones are the most evolved. Or, you became a druggy and can look back at your better self
