It's good but only few things to improve: When I see schedule I wanna see classes that I reserved mark as reserved without go to my reservations. And another thing that annoys me it's when I add class to my calendar, location is showing as a room in gym and not the gym itself so everytime I'm clicking navigation from calendar it's sending me to strange places and I need to manually tipy gym address.
App turns off the adaptive brightness on my phone so the barcode can be scanned but never turns it back on.
Selecting new club as default won't update classes. I bounce from Savage to Lakeville and when my default club is Lakeville, app still shows classes for Savage. Have to back out several times in order for it to update. Also, when registering, app goes into system error more times than usual.
I use this app to look up group fitness class schedules. I like being able to save favorite searches, and I save one per location that I go to. The only things that knock it down to 4 stars: 1. Sometimes the schedule won't load. I have to close the app completely and the reopen it. 2. When I first go to into the app and go to class schedules, the top banner shows the name of my last search, but the results are my home club, even if that wasn't my last search. Still love the app.
It's a convenient app to have if you go to Lifetime Fitness. Easy to schedule classes too. That's nice. You can order stuff from the cafe efficiently. The fitness tracking could be better ie. More detailed in terms of stats. Also the interface to the Lifetime store could be made a lot better. It should be part of the app and not an embedded web page.
The app helps me keep track of when I go to the gym, which helps motivate me if I see I haven't been getting in often enough. It also has the class schedules on it so you can see when and where you might want to go. However, it gets only 4 stars because anyone you try to filter the classes or change days it won't load until you go back to the home page and then back into classes. I don't use their workouts, but I do believe they have some tips and routines in the app that might be useful to some.
Buggy. I've been using it for almost a year, and it seems like there's always something not working right on it. Right now, I can't change the class filter, so all I'm seeing is results from a filter I set a while back (only showing GTX Burn). I'm also having issues with the workout feature. It sometimes asks to connect to my HRM then reverts to the app's home screen.
once you set favorites, it's hard to clear them off. after trying to clear them for over 30 minutes, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the app. also, the number of times I have been to the gym for the month are always off. I like the variety of info provided and the detail of the app, though. some videos for workout only give an error message which is also annoying.
The ID card page helps you avoid carrying an extra card around which is great. Unfortunately that's the only part of the app you can rely on. It seems well designed and laid out, but the information is more often than not horribly outdated. At centerville location, the rock climb wall hours haven't been updated in the 6 months since the schedule changed. I have asked the front desk and rock climb team about it, but no one seems to know who is responsible for making info accurate. Disappointing.
Good one-stop shop for class times and membership tracking. The prominently displayed monthly gym visit count is a great motivational tool. I like the integration with my calendar app. It can be a bit klunky at times, freezing up when toggling between the class schedule and my calendar. Backing out and going back in will usually solve the problem.
App is a good way to consolidate visits, events, classes, club tab and the card itself. I find it very user friendly and practical. I wish it could post updates to social media pages like FB for TEAM training classes. Sometimes it stalls when trying to open the membership card. Lately, I've been noticing issues with the classes where in I have to deselect the filter repeatedly.
It's great at what it's already doing, and I love the card feature. I'd like to see a radio tuner feature added to it that connects to the TV monitors in the clubs. Also, I haven't been able to figure out how to pay at the cafe with the app without starting an order. I think I'm supposed to be able to do it, and I went through the set up process to connect my CC but its not obvious to me. It should be obvious and intuitive, like everything else about this app.
I like the idea of the app, but some hugs need to be fixed. The number if days I come to the gym per month is never right. Today I tried a couple of times to order on the app from the Life Cafe and I confirmed my location, then it blacks out. also it's terrible when I go to the life spa part if it and look at options for services. if you hit the back button it takes you all the way back to the beginning. very frustrating. updating to a 1 star. I can't even look at classes now and I have deleted
This app is slow when opening. I usually open it up before going into the first door and just barely is opened to my digital card when i get to the desk for them to scan. This is on a Samsung note 9 also wish is one of the fastest phones. Also when accessing the LT bucks section, it doesn't load pictures but shows a blank icon. When clocking in a link such as Nutrition, it goes to the bottom of the page where there are more links, but not to the nutrition page. Bad behavior for a premium club.
This app has really improved over the years. It has all the club's various gym & activity schedules. It's full of workouts with video tutorials. AND! ... it's integrated with heart rate monitoring devices so you can track workouts in detail. That feature can be coordinated with trainers who can review & analyze that data to determine how metabolically effective your workouts are. VERY COOL! This app shows that Lifetime Fitness is always striving to be the best at providing value to members.
It's really, really a good app! Has guided workouts and it tracks your monthly visits. Plus, you can make reservations for the spa and other things from it. Only thing that it doesn't have is a way to document what kind of workout or class that you did that day. That would be really helpful/useful.
The app is very user friendly. I love being able to see all the different class options each day, and how there is also a description for each one. It also shows my progress and how many days I have been in each month, how many guest passes I have left, lifetime bucks, etc. It is a very well thought out app.
App generally works well, but if you do the live classes the app will not switch to full screen making it impossible to see the live class because the image is too small. The icon(arrows) in the bottom right corner are there but it does not initiate full screen when pressed. Seems to be bug. Pls fix it!
App works well enough aside from periodically failing to turn adaptive brightness back on after I access the barcode to scan in at the gym. Not a major issue but it does burn up the battery much faster until I realize the brightness is still stuck on max. It's hard to replicate but it has happened 3 times in the last month or so.
Absolutely useless app. Constantly freezes and crashes. Doesn't respond half the time. Just awful.
Nice app. Helpful way to check out the upcoming class schedules and reserve your space in some classes. I really like that you can reserve a specific bike in the Cycle classes. I also like that you can add a class to your calendar outside of the app and that a description if the class is provided. Lastly, among other things, I like that you can create a filtered search to use in the future, especially if you will use that search often. 😊
UPDATE: Dec 26 update fixed my issue. thank you! ----------------------------- This app continous closes on my pixel 2 device when trying to start a workout. I reached out to the developers via email and received no response after a week. the app is ok other than constant force closes. wish they would have some support to troubleshoot the issues.
It's been a really good thing. The only problem I have had is not always being able to get through when I've needed to cancel a class. I txt the instructor but they may not always have a chance to read the txt in time. So I might get penalized even though I have attempted to cancel.😥😥 Specifically for yoga. I don't know why this is happening!🤔 Please make it easier to get to the cancellation procedure. Thanks 🧘♀️
I'm enjoying all the details and features with easy access button on main screen to my card. Only suggestion is to add an easy navigation to see what I have scheduled for a class I'm interested in taking and a basic map layout or guide to the classrooms. it only provides the location of the gym itself when I clicked it on the location button on the class page.
Some reservations don't appear in my list and I can't cancel certain classes if I reserve a spot but generally a very helpful app. Only other issue is that I lost part of my workout in the lifetime app when paired with my arm worn heart rate monitor. Could be the fault of my phone saving its battery but I'm not sure.
Great! Fixed! However the videos on the class descriptions dont play. loved this app but once i go to a certain day of classes i cant skip to another day. it just goes blank so i have to get out and get back in everytime i want to look or compare different days. ive uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. but love it other than that. please fix?
Love the freedom the app gives me without having a card and ability to purchase items from cafe. Occasionally freezes. The last two weeks I have had to close app and reopen everything each time I wanted to look at a new days worth of classes. Unable to see my son's swim lessons and additional information about a missed lessons.
This app is great but, for example, the yoga classes have beginner, intermediate, & kids videos mixed together. Also, the #'s for each type of class, for example, yoga ROOT 04, are out of order and its hard to find exactly what class I'm looking for. It would be better to have the class sections more organized and in # order. Also, when searching in the live streams, it would be nice to have a "filter" option, so I can pick what type of class I'm looking, for example, "HIIT classes" or "yoga".
Great options on the app, very user friendly and intuitive. Can't give a perfect score though because the amount of workouts the app provides could be better. Maybe even add male and female centric workouts. Also adding your permanent location that way the app doesn't ask you every time would be nice.
This app is horrible. It continuously spontaneously logs me out and am unable to access. Doesn't save username and password and constantly having to reset. Update 5/22 They still haven't resolved these ongoing app issues.
