No longer working on Android. I just switched to the Pixel 3a about a month ago and noticed that it's not tracking any of my outdoor steps. It also doesn't track indoor steps but I believe that's always been the case and is by design. However, competitors apps do track indoor movement. I checked all the settings and they seem fine so it's something wrong with the app. Also, the notification bar that comes with the app has never worked, even on my old phone. Not sure the developers are working it

Joined this app in August. Got 76.00 in credits after awhile. Now for the last few months I'm getting nothing. All of my walking is being put in the "unverified" area so I'm losing out and have been for months. The rare few times my steps show in "verified" still don't get credits for them either. This application is going down hill apparently and it's not just me. I may just delete this application and find a different one. According to others the developers "can't do anything about it". 🤷🏼‍♀

Been using this app for a few months. Initially, it would periodically reward me for my steps. Now it's stopped working altogether. It shows the number of steps I walk/run but no longer credits me for those steps. I've even tried deleting the user data file and starting over, but no luck. It's an app that simply doesn't work the way it should. Maybe the fact that it hasn't been updated since July 2018 explains why it behaves so poorly.

This app has given up. Step counting is completely fubard. It hasn't worked in over a month. Sometimes it will display uncounted for the day or an accumulation of several days. Regardless they disappear when I refresh the count and do no apply to the official count at all. The competing apps have gotten better with updates, this one is just broken. I'll likely uninstall it if an update that fixes things doesn't roll out soon.

I had the app installed for a couple of months hoping to eventually make a few extra dollars. It worked for around three months until it suddenly quit counting my steps. I then emailed their customer service and they said the only way they could potentially fix the problem would be if I uninstall the app and then install it again, which would lose my points. Also, you can only redeem your coin for $50 gift cards and you only earn a few coins a day. Terrible app. Don't recommend.

Lifecoin is a scam. I was using the app for awhile, then all of a sudden it stoped verifying steps. So no coins. Messaged them and was told they know about it and are working on a fix, that was close to a year ago. A coworker downloaded the app last night. Today they recieved coins for their steps. I say, don't waste your time. Unless they fix the problem. Thank you.

Unreliable. So I downloaded this app and have used it for at least a month. One of my biggest hikes to date, I walked at least 8 miles in the morning. Back and forth from terminal 2 to terminal 1 a number if times and then when I was back in the UK another 2 miles at least. I had a good signal on my phone. It rewarded me with unverified steps. And this has been case since day one. You need 10k points for a good reward. Ive just totalled 21. Don't waste your time with this app. Utter rubbish.

Takes a bit of Time to amass enough credits to purchase a reward for all your outdoor steps. But oh so WORTH IT! The app itself doesn't seem to eat up to much battery power. And it will run in the background so.all you have to.do is step outside your house and begin walking to earn. My only complaint is the monthly earning cap. With the high price of the rewards it would be nice if we could earn a significant amount more without having to purchase the pro version.

Got a new phone and tried to log into the app... stuck in an infinite loop of my basic info, I get sent an email to confirm my identity, click the link in the email, it brings me back to the app as if I never opened it before. Im disappointed, I had a LOT of points saved up in the app. (Close to 1000) Contacted the developer and they told me their team was aware of the issue and to "wait for an update"... this page says the last update was like 18 months ago... Im deleting this app.

The app often doesn't recognize steps; I get a "No movement detected" notification. I have a Google Pixel 3a, as Androidish as Android can get, and a Fitbit. I have 4G/LTE unlimited high speed data in the city. Permissions are turned on (except contacts). I "force stop" all unnecessary apps using the "Force Stop Apps" app before I go out walking. I try leaving the app on the screen or background. I walk several miles every day, and opt-in to your supporting-advertisements each day. Unreliable.

Disappointed. Downloaded it as a motivational app that would push me to walk so I could collect rewards. Started off fab, was making money but within a couple of weeks the app kept crashing and not counting the steps. All the rewards are out of stock and have been from day one. Still kept the app for almost a year. There is no way you can contact support and fix it. I also genuinely believe the app messed up my S10+ because since installing the app, my internet messed up. Just uninstalled

In the beginning everything worked just fine. But then I noticed that the app would just close and for days I wouldn't be tracking steps. Recently I made a point to try and notice any time it was closed to open in and make sure my steps were tracking. However, even on days that I show steps, I don't get any coins. Waste of cell phone space :(

if I could give it a negative score I would. app doesnt give anything for steps taken nor does it save steps taken. daily bonus feature has also stopped working. very frustrating! I have contacted support a number of times and all i get back is they are working on the issues and to be patient. very disappointed

this app worked fine when i first downloaded it, however over the last week its been hit and miss at collecting my steps. then Wednesday it stopped counting steps altogether. i have another step counting app which works fine, over the last 2 days I've walked around 17,360 steps, but none have registered on this app. I've refreshed the app from within on the main screen, I've closed the app and restarted it. at no point have i force closed the app as it states not to. very disappointe in the app

At first I thought it was a great app. I walk daily and things were going good. I was maxing out at $5 a day. Then after about 2 or so weeks it just quit working. I wouldn't get credit for my steps. Then it was counting my steps but applying no reward. It's been over a week you can't get a hold of anyone for help. I have $70 plus and can't buy anything because EVERY gift card they offer is sold out. Completely a waist of time...

This app is great if you are outside a lot. If you're a waitress or work indoors, not so much. It takes A LOT of outside walking to gain enough points to really matter, and you certainly won't make enough in a week to be able to purchase anything on their shopping site. Still, it can be motivation for a daily stroll outside in the fresh air, which is good for the attitude, if nothing else.

DON'T DO IT, THERE ARE BETTER APPS OUT THERE WITH BETTER REWARDS!!! Freemium model and no smaller prizes means that the only way to have a prayer of getting a reward is to purchase the subscription, which would easily outpace the value of the prize you're working toward. Also noticed an uptick in battery usage once I downloaded it, despite keeping battery saver on.

This apps does not work in the background like it's supposed to. You have to log into the app for it to work properly. But, even when you log in the app, it still does not count all of your steps and I did not get credit for the steps that the app actually counted. I walked 3,046 steps in one day and I did not receive any money/points added to my account for my steps. A BIG WASTE OF TIME

Mel. S. Apr 2, 2019

I tried this app to keep track of my steps. It linked to my Google Fit. I have my location turned on at High Accuracy. It has not been counting a single step on the app. I'm not wasting my time messaging here and there to find out what's wrong. Your app is supposed to work so fix it. Period. I use Android 8.1.0. LG Aristo 2.

Edw. J. Feb 20, 2021

It works like it should. Gives points for steps taken. This app gives me, a 380 pounder, a reason to walk more and hopefully lose this weight. Thank you for the app! Update: I knew it was too good to be true. First, still no Amazon giftcards, AS ADVERTISED! And NOW that I got the 2500 needed to redeem, the Giftcard I chose happens to be "OUT OF STOCK". I emailed Azumo and their reply? We currently do not have a timeline for updating giftcards. Why not? Too lazy?

So, I've been using this app for like a month with no problems and then Saturday is just stopped counting steps completely. For no reason. So, today I decided to try uninst and reinstalling it again. Big mistake. Huge. Because I can't get past the set up -- it recognizes that I already have an account, sends me an email to log in, and when I click to log in to the app from the email *it starts tte set up over*. I have started this set up THREE TIMES now. Get it together, LifeCoin.

Sha. P. Jul 27, 2019

Doesn't auto record and save your steps. You have to go in and verify your steps consistently... If you don't verify then you lose all the steps earned for that time period and it doesn't count towards your rewards. I walk outside everyday for at least 20 consecutive minutes but according to the app I haven't walked in a week. smh...

Ele. G. May 28, 2020

If you don't verify your steps they're lost for the day. Has a limit of $5. For up to $10 you gotta pay actual money..like..it's not enough that you allow the app to track your every move and send that info to who knows where, now you have to pay to be tracked...Jesus. Sweatcoin is way better. They still track you but they have the decency not to ask for money. Plus their store actually has stuff you can buy in less than 5 years and outside US

So far, this app has been easy to use. getting started with my phone number was frustrating, it kept saying it wasn't valid. I had to create a text now number to get the app to work. But, once that happened it has been a breeze. I haven't acumulated enough steps to buy anything yet only because it won't read my steps from my Samsung Galaxy phone. That's the least of my worries though. now I'm just motivated to do more. That's not bad at all... 😉 I'll update when it comes time to purchase.

This app sometimes does not give me any credits for steps on several days. I do like the daily reward of $1 that you can collect. I have been trying for the last 6-7 months to get a gift card from 3 of the many gift cards offerered; but everytime I try to get them I get a message stating OUT OF STOCK. I have been trying to get a Best Buy, Home Depot, and Ebay gift card. Your ads state that you stock these items frequently....THIS STATEMENT IS A LIE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS APP!

Pat. S. May 14, 2021

Does not count steps and had to switch phones and now I can't use the app on either the old or new phone. It says invalid phone, after trying and failing several of the codes sent in text. Linking the phone number like this makes it easy to lose an account just because someone put your number into the signup too.

Initially, i thought that I was off to a good start, except for the reported error alert that informed me "Start walking . . ." I tried every option in my Galaxy 9 that I was relevant. Still nothing. Next step: uninstall & was following the setup until I got pass my phone #. I was sent a code that the app did not recognize. I backed up so that I could get a new, fresh code. I did, but the app , still won't recognize it. It rejected both my phone # on repeated attempts & the code on same amount.

This app isn't bad and doesn't take up too much space and not super battery draining. But the earnings are incredibly slow and i had the app installed for over a year and was barely half way to buying anything. But the lack of ads makes this higher rated.

On my previous phone, which was an iPhone, this app was fairly decent. It would have gotten a 3-star review. However, on this phone, which is obviously an Android, I have already walked enough for a competitor, Sweatcoin, to have aknowledged 357 steps. During that time, this app recorded no movement whatsoever. I uninstalled immediately. I'm not going to deal with something that is not as good as it's supposed to be.

I love the app and the idea! and it is wonderful but they could add a feature to transfer money to PayPal. so every coin is £1 or $1 or ¥100 ect. I'm currently saving up my coins until the feature is added and I hope they do read their own product reviews. no PayPal is what is missing that one star for me.
