Love the app. Just wish there were some cooler widgets. The 4x1 widget that is a scroll menu seems a bit redundant and the next mission widget I think would be nicer if it reached the horizontal end of the screen or could be adjusted more size wise. Other than that I think this app is perfect. I love the system and I like how unlike other similar apps, paying is completely optional. You don't necessarily lose any functionality besides custom icons and one other thing. Great app.

Moved my entire Google keep to do list and then some into this app. For me it is the best productivity management tool I've used to date. Its only flaw is backing up to the cloud doesn't work for me, though if I can find the data file I might try it manually. Syncing 2 devices would make this near perfect. And I'm using it completely free. Aside from a custom profile pic, I've not even seen functionality I need to pay for.

I like the idea, and the options, but it seems painfully prone to glitching on completed or failed missions. I will get missions repeated to me for days on end that should only be once a week for example, as it seems to forget that I already resolved them. This defeats the point. It also often reschedules missions on me if I forget to mark it as complete on time, so I get it in my schedule for a different day, despite it being clearly set for a specific day of the week for example. Clean it up!

This is by far one of the better self improvement apps. The interface is great! Does what it says and it's fun! However, there are a few things I'd like to suggest. A widget for progress and time left would help. A timer to see how much you spend on a task (it would be great to see this show up on statistics). Along with the timer: being able to add breaks would be amazing - even just as a custom reminder (every 30min/2hrs-take a break) A percentage tracker below each task would be awesome!

LifeRPG is an interesting game that can be as fun as you can be imaginative. You can set up your life's goals as quests, and gain experience and level up your skills as you complete them. As well designed as this game is, I'd like a few additions to make it more interesting: 1) Job class/rank/tier system you can set up to unlock automatically as an achievement after you reach a certain level or skill for extra motivation. 2) Energy level to rise with the experience and skill level. Energy to be spent depending on the difficulty of the task. 3) A negative consequence to failing a task, like temporarily lowered Energy, experience or skill level. 4) A simple icon menu on top for easy access, since a pop up menu is already available in the corner. 5) In the Rewards item creation menu, I wish there is a way to determine if the item is consumable before it is in the inventory. And a way to sell the Rewards from the inventory for money.

This is actually a really great concept to help keep people organized whom have difficulty focusing or struggle to maintain life goals. The app is very clean and easy to look at as well. The only thing I'm not very fond of is the way 'parent' tasks are set, I feel they should be inverted or thought they would be at first impression, with the first step being the first one you view when viewing them collapsed, otherwise having collapsed task lists is pretty pointless since viewing the ultimate goal first thing every time can feel overwhelming and daunting, defeating the purpose of even making the small step-by-step goals at all. I would suggest either completely inverting the way they are displayed (first step being shown first until clicking then viewing next step, or completing then viewing next step)... or providing the option to do so.

I love the open ended uses of this app! I thoroughly enjoy using it. I used it before and I struggled managing everything. Most of my problems was creating a balanced way to have missions equate to skills and progress. Here are the main reasons I uninstalled before and if added will stay. Otherwise I'll be looking for something new. I have some suggestions. Allow the user to put in skill regression for missions failed. For example of what I would like is that I have a mission to exercise every other day. If I fail one day, I think I should lose some skills (in smaller degrees than earning it by completing the mission). I would lose endurance for not going running. I would also lose dedication/commitment skills under my mental category. In a similar adjustment. I feel that some missions would yield more progress in certain skills than others. Running would increase the skill of endurance more than overall strength. Conversely, lifting at a gym woods increase strength more than endurance. It would be nice if you had an option when setting up the mission to state whether some skills are going to be primarily used, others would be secondary and lastly, someone would be a tertiary for being involved.

Love this app. Use it as a planner! I downloaded two quest style rpg life management apps. The first (Not this one) was really impressive. Quests unlocked after you were level X, it had goals to help you with life improvement, etc. Then I looked at this one. It was completely bare. I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I thought, what am I supposed to do? Come up with and write down every possible life goal? How am I supposed to use this? Well, I lost my planner a few days later, and I thought, hey, I'll write stuff down in that LifeRPG app until I find it. I have since stopped looking for my planner, and have moved completely to using this app. While there are some small adjustments I would make, like the "fail" button simply changing the due date to the current day, (isn't that what "reschedule" is for?) And possibly having the option for more than one (nameable) reward currency (ooh, and maybe being able to customise the logo like with the other aspects?!) This app is wonderful, and I live the functionality and customizability. 10/10 would recommend (and have!)

Very easy to set up and use, but the notification system is a bit screwy - a lot of the time when you complete a task it'll immediately trigger the next notification even if the task isn't due for 24 hours. Makes the notifications a bit pointless, and they're most of what I use the app for so the whole things becomes a bit pointless. Hopefully just a bug that gets fixed soon, because otherwise the app is really good.

I absolutely love this app, I just wish it would get updated. It's a little tricky to figure out, but once you get the hang of it, it's better than any other reminder app I've seen. The flexibility of scheduling multiple reminders for a single task is great. The ability to organize tasks in categories and have sub-tasks is awesome. The gamification is kind of left to your imagination, but it's still fun, especially if you set up custom sounds and rewards. Even if you don't care about gamification, I recommend this app because the features are just that good.

This has been so helpful in my life, I have only been using it for a short while but it has definitely improved my quality of life. I have not given it 5 stars however because a quite a few aspects of the app have been buggy; I keep getting issues with duplicated missions, missions in the notification bar not responding to the Done button, parent missions being quite confusing to setup, also the back up and sync option crashes the app every time I try it. Overall good app but I would love to see more customization such as an option to snooze or put off certain missions, and for the reminders for overdue missions to be constant. All in all a wonderful app!

I love this app. It's incredibly seamless, useful and gives me a real sense of achievement. It perfectly achieves everything it sets out to do. However I personally would really love to be able to decide how much of my exp goes to certain skills. The way it is now I get the same amount of exp for the skills I link in the task but some tasks require you to do one thing more and should therefore recieve more exp.

I absolutely loved this app. The interface was beautiful and it made me more productive. I would give this 5 stars except if you accidentally give yourself too much xp (which is quite easy to do if you are jiat playing around with it) then there's no way to undo it. I went from being a level 3 to a 37 in one mispress and its basically just ruined it for me.

I really like this app, it takes a little while to learn but once you figure it out it's very easy to use. It would be cool if rewards could have effects (rescheduling a mission) and I think an option for skill decay might be interesting. Reminder notifications don't always ping which is pretty annoying.

Eri. A. Apr 1, 2021

Pretty cool, but could use some improvements. I think if the tasks were failed automatically it would give more incentive to use the app regularly. It would also be kind of cool if you could add items to the rewards store that were level locked so you would feel more like the levels did something. I'e also been having an issue where if I skip a task it will either make a duplicate or change the time the task is due.

Great concept but the app has currently a massive limit/flaw. There is no way to auto backup. Only local backup to file works, where the backup and share feature does not work. I also have had issues restoring with said backup file. In a reddit post on /LifeRPG someone asked for an auto sync backup feature over 2 years ago. I think that a robust, easy to use backup and restore feature is much needed. As I've used this for a week I find myself possibly losing all data.

This app is probably one of the best to-do list type of apps you will find, especially if you are a gamer. The only thing missing is a PC version you could sync to and from but otherwise is unique and nearly perfect. The app has a lot of interesting settings and features you can toy around with and are fun to use. I would highly recommend giving this a try.

Etu. Oct 14, 2018

The app is great, almost perfect it would be great if it has reward expiration timer, my rewards are usually playing video games, if it has a built in timer and notification that would make it perfect and also, something like key items, that will be required for a mission to finish or a skill to activate. Great app doesn't have ads, helps to keep me organize while having fun to do it.

Although I admire the endless amount of customization I hate to be 'that guy' and say its too overwhelming a task to literally customize the entire game. I think it would have been better if the game came packed with pre-existing missions and tasks as well as classes/titles while also giving the user the option to create his/her own as they so please to suit the needs of their own lives. Its a good app don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic idea, but I open the app and I have no idea where to even begin. 🤷

Incredible, beautiful, simplistic and yet quite fleshed-out. Wonderful for productivity! However, there are two things I'd love to see added: - Consumable items give you a reward/boost for consuming (otherwise they're kinda pointless) - Sounds for completing missions, reminders, etc. are pre-recorded on the app - just little things like trumpet sounds or pan pipes would be really great! Thanks for such a great app, developers!

This app is very cool and very complete! It has a great personalization level and has helped me to make my training much easier and fun! Also, it would be cool if there was like a degenerative aspect in the levels and habilities; like everytime someone fails a mission or a certain time passes, the general level and habilities levels go down, so you keep disciplined!

Jas. B. Dec 10, 2018

Very helpful for those like myself who have issues self-motivating. Helps to create a linear progression in the tedious boredom of daily chores and requirements. One thing on my wishlist for this game would be that it add an ability to autofail missions not completed by their due date, as it creates a lot of maintenance in the program if something comes up and I am umable to complete the small things set to daily repetition.

So this app is really great. It helps me organize my thoughts and my day since I'm a scattered mess and I love the parent missions function so I can break my day down as small as I need to do. Almost. And that's why I have four stars. It gets to a certain level where it'll acknowledge there's a mission there but it won't show it to me. I'll have to go under all missions to see it. For example, I have a 'things for today' parent mission. I go in and there animals, house, and school. Under animals I have snails and cats. Under snails, I have to clean their cage and change their dirt but it won't show me that in there. At the top of the screen it says I have 0/3 missions completed in there but it doesn't show me the missions them selves. I have to go to all for that. But other than this minor annoyance, this app is really stellar. If there is any way to fix this then personally, I will be completely happy with this app and my rating will go to five.

App Continuously Crashes. I used to use this on my Galaxy S8; it worked great then, but that was over 2 years ago. I remembered how great this was and decided to use this when I upgraded phones. Now, on my S10, it keeps crashing when I try to do anything with custom settings (sounds and pictures). I hope the devs. read this because it's a real bummer I can't use this app anymore.
