Only works as expected SOME times. I walked past two cameras and a room sensor several times last night, but nothing showed up in my history. Sometimes it takes at LEAST a minute (or longer) to let me know my system has been disarmed and my door has been opened. I timed it today. An actual intruder could have been standing over me by the time I received the alerts. Not helpful. Defeats the purpose of the notifications entirely. 🙄

*UPDATE* Logged me out on its own and won't allow me to log back in using the password that I had written down, so I know it's correct. Repeated errors changing it. Now I'm locked out for too many attempts 10-14-21 Junk. Notifications whenever tf they feel like giving em to you. Either way you don't get em unless you phone is literally on the Blue App screen. Sometimes the sensors work, sometimes they don't. Should've kept my Ring setup. At least it was consistent. Oh well. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Moved from a house I own to a place I rent, so I was moved from a professional set up to a DIY set up and was told it's the latest & greatest, does the same thing for half the price, and that I can rest assured. Well, I've had the Blue system for about 5 days now, and I've run into nothing but problems with this stupid app. The system itself is easy to set up and use. The app, however, is horrible. There's not enough space for me to go into detail here about the problems (limit: 500 characters).

It works great when everything is running. Although I wish there was an Option for layouts on veiwing frames. The wireless cameras are acting up. They say offline but my internet is hooked up and the batteries are charged. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a security system if I'm being honest.

Update as of 12/6/21: Constant issue's with connectivity, system continues to drop offline, camera is useless after replacing and base has no cellular back up and will not work wirelessly even after replacing as well. Buyer beware I would look else where before using this product. Would give 0 stars if I could. Mostly user friendly, sometimes can be a bit sluggish even when connected to wifi or 4g lte.

The camera battery is completely worthless. I have been having problems with the camera battery since day 1. The app is ok to use, pretty user friendly. I was sent a new one a week later, and once again, the same issue. The issue is the BATTERY! I literally just charged this thing and it lasted 5 days. I knew something was wrong when it fully charged in less than an hour. All they're going to do is send me a new camera and that is not going to fix the issue.

Buyer beware. The cameras are new & the batteries are unreliable. The main hub key pad us difficult to use and the buttons don't read the first time your press them. The app is very problematic. This is false security. Nothing works as it should with this company. I had better results with a much less expensive lower name brand. They don't even call to check on alarms.

I always have problems with the cameras and batteries not working. I just installed a new sensor 2wks ago and the battery us already low. The battery for a camera wasn't working well either and they never sent a new one. I'm still waiting. Customer service is not so great. I was on hold for 20 minutes then got hung up on. The third time I called I was on the phone getting switched from one person to another. They all do the same thing!!! Their tech support and billing.

Since the switch from Lifeshield to Blue, I cannot connect to my security system. Instead of the page opening and initializing, the Blue page comes up, and it is partially overlaid by the History box such that it covers up anything that might be able to get me into my system. I used to be able to log in, arm, disarm, change settings, etc. Now, I can do nothing.

Great system. However this change to 'blue' seems to make things more complicated. U used to be able to just add users temporarily with a pin and delete them when u don't want them to have access, through the original Lifeshield app. Now u have to go through a whole email process to add them. Once they are added u can't change anything without deleting them and starting over. But now the email is already registered and u can't add them again with that email. The new process is terrible.

Since the update awhile ago now, have not been able to log in. Enter my correct log in info, doesn't work. Request forgotten password, doesn't work. Customer service hasn't been able to figure out how to get me back into the program. The ability to log in and arm/disarm my system, turn on lights, ect is a big part of using the alarm system. Just waiting for my contract to expire so I can go with a company that actually works.

So far so good. Works well with the system, and has many options, to program it, the way you would want to. This adt system has so much potential! Unfortunately not in the paper instructions. Play around with all the settings and tabs in this app for a few days.. get to know your system. Working good for me, I plan on buying extra Z-wave add ons!

Notifications from video come significantly after the motion event happens. I should get the alert when the motion detection is triggered, not after the video clip is recorded and saved to the cloud. Notifications used to show a preview of the video but that stopped working today -- that was a great feature. Motion zones have to be rectangular which is also a problem causing a lot of false alerts. There are almost no customizable camera preferences. Video clips stop after 30 seconds...too short.

System is great when it's online. Cameras frequently drop off and have to be manually reset to reconnect. Push notifications don't work on Samsung Galaxy S20 (AT&T). A call to customer service at 11:00am EST, got a sleepy voice that kept yawning and said "I'm not ready for this yet". She tried hard but could not resolve the issue and "elevated it". I was promised a return call but have as yet to receive it 2 weeks later. Otherwise the APP is fine.

It would be much better if there were no issues with voice over the camera,not clear and has bad delay. Camera should be a motion detection follow camera that way if someone does try to break in there is a better chance that you can identify them. I am also not happy that ADT refuse to replace the missing parts a camera and key fob other than that it's a good system for the price.

The apps kind of slow. And the doorbell doesn't work like the Ring door bell. I have to log in the app n it takes minute before I can respond to the person. I wish they can connect that directly to my phone. Certain sensors trigger off themselves sometimes for no reason. No wind or movement. I had to come home to cops 2 times. Sadly I signed a contract with them. Besides that their customer service is awesome. I hope they can adjust the doorbell and faster connectivity.

For the most part this is a very good system, had some problems with the app crashing. Reinstalled it and seems to be fine. Still having a little trouble trying to figure out how to arm silently. Whether I arm with the keypad or the app, is not silent. I have been messing with settings. Guess I will call support for help.

It hasn't worked since we got it. The first 2 tech support agents told me to go watch the videos and that I had to change settings in the app. Selected a pin code but it was not the master code previously selected by the company which I was told by the only helpful agent the 3rd time I called. So I was locked out of the app. Who has time for this? Not me that's for sure.

That time it takes a long time to connect and when I set the alarm it takes a long time for to come up and always tell me to call the provider of the system. Battery life for the camera don't last too long. Outside of all of that it's a good system to have BlueADT. The most of all is very easy to install

I was told I had 60 days for a money back cancelation when I got the system. Shortly a month after I got it and tried it, I realized that everything about this system is garbage. 95% of the time the cameras don't record or catch anything, and I've had them robooted through customer support several times. I was lied too about the "no contract" part too. I'm now stuck until 2025 unless I want too pay north of $2000. I wouldn't recommend this system too anyone. Absolutely terrible.

Notifications are sporadic, you may get them or you may not. Not good when it's your home security at stake. What's the point? Because the adt system needs this app to run your think it would function correctly. Not very customizable either. Disappointed in my choice with ADT security, I wish I would have chosen someone else.

The real time communication is horrible between the app and the system! Even though I keep the app updated & have push notifications, sometimes as much as 8 mins. later does the app alert me that the camera has detected someone has been at my door hence making the camera useless when I need to speak to someone who shouldn't be at my door! This NEEDS to be fixed! As others have said, yes, the cameras and system do go offline frequently, at least once a week, even though my internet is fine.
