Light Flow Legacy :Led Control

Ever since Android 9 (Pie,) I've had a lot issues with this app. Charging led staying lit after i remove the power source. Notifications repeating or heavily delayed. I've cleared the cache, reinstalled, started the config from scratch, and even factory reset my S9+ several times now. I'm surprised there aren't more apps like this out there. I use led, sound, and custom vibration patterns for hundreds of notifications normally, so this is a major hindrance to be acting up on me.

I love this app and have used it for a few years. But recently the sound of the notifications won't play. And I know sound on my phone works. Each sound I tap for the notification sound it just makes a little blip noise. The notification seems to work and the vibrate part works but without sound I don't know that my notification went off. Fix it!

It doesn't work properly on my phone. I have a black shark 2, and with that 3 notification led lights, i can activate them through the setings, but through the app it only shows the blue color blinking 2 times, every time. I can't choose the color or anything, well I can, but it doesn't matter, it's always light blue. And I don't even like that color. 😐

Love this app, but would like to suggest the addition of settings that will keep a certain notification from going off between certain hours. For instance, I do want to get sound notifications if my friends IM me at night, but do not want to get work email ones at night. Also, having gotten an S10e, if there were anything you could do to make this work with edge lighting, you would be my hero.

Due to an inoperable issue between the OnePlus OS and third party email apps, which in this case is Outlook, the notification dot LED wouldn't work. Installing this app solved it though it took several attempts to make it work. When first set up, nothing happened. Then taking another try a red window at the top of the app showed up which was linked to system app permissions. Once permissions were enabled I was good to go. Too bad the setup doesn't do it the first time.

Very good app. Not sure why occasionally the system notification sound comes through instead of the custom one. Would be nice to be able to customize the sound based on notification message for an app. Also would be nice if the app could read or display all of these different message types for an existing notification if one exists.

I USE to LOVE this app BUT....I can no longer download the pro/paid version which I previously purchased. I have emailed the developer numerous times but still have yet to receive a reply. I know in the past when I attempted to make contact, I received a timely response. However, that is no longer the case as I've already sent 3 or 4 direct emails, none of which received a response. Also, I upgraded my device about 4 wks ago & the app is not functioning properly. I don't see my device listed on their website so I'm guessing it isn't compatible, or at least not at this time. I hope they have an update & make it to where Samsung Galaxy Note9 users can utilize this app as I really enjoyed it.....when it worked on my previous devices.

Had to dl because my Galaxy s9+ is refusing to give up the notifications no matter what settings are clicked. I really can't afford to miss my sms especially with a new man or two. OK three but get off my back. I can't help it if I am awesome. And don't nag me about hard boots or data restores or factory resets. I have tried them all. This is the only solution that worked. Pfft.

It used to a great app. But seeing as it was last updated in 2018, and hasn't been updated since, leads me to believe the devs don't work on this app anymore. There is a paid version I guess, but not sure if either are worth investing in

App has been crippled by Google policy changes. Full app on the website for paid users. Well worth it if you haven't bought it yet. Previously, been using this app for years. Had issues with versions of android needing a notification to work. I had already paid for the app. The dev provided me with a key so I could use this legacy version. Go to the website for the full version! Thank you dev!

Android 12 update broke it. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall and setup all my customizations again. I love this app for custom notification sounds for a few apps based on the text of the notification, including dexcom follow app and google hangouts.

Still needs an update. Used to be a 5 star app but I've dropped a star twice now. The Text to Speech notifications are the latest feature to have recently stopped working on my Samsung Galaxy A71. This app used to do a great number of excellent things but is long overdue an update as functionality starts to decline as time goes by and with each Android update

So far this app has worked for me. Installed specifically for work, so when I'm on-call I can control notifications through Cisco Teams for work. One feature I would like to see added is the ability to send sounds/vibrations to my Samsung Galaxy Watch, as it only seems Google Wear devices are supported. If I'm wrong there, please let me know.

Glad Im not the only one. Used to work well, both sound and led. Then just sound, no led, now nothing! When I use the test function shows as if it should work doesn't. Developers would answer emails promtly, now zero response. no idea where to go from here. Keep hoping they will fix at some point? Doesn't look promising.

LOVE the LIGHT FLOW app! It's really MIND BOGGLING that GOOGLE (ANDROID) has yet to incorporate something similar. The only gripe I have is the sounds I've come acustomed to on my (ANDROID 8.1) BLACKBERRY KEY2 are NOT available on the newly downloaded LIGHT FLOW app for my BRAND NEW S22 ULTRA (ANDROID 12). Is there any way I could find and download said ringtones and sounds from an earlier edition of LIGHT FLOW?..

Works perfectly on my Samsung S9+. I really like having the led light up when the screen is off. Having a different led colors for each message type is great (phone/voicemail, text msgs, email msgs). Note the led does not come on when the screen is on. Many thanks to the app developer.

The developer who created this is genius! I won't upgrade my phone because I don't want to lose the LED light which sadly is not on Samsung after the 9 series. The full functionality was lost a bit when Google butted in, but thanks to the workarounds, it works fine for me. Love love love Light Flow!

I have used Light Flow for years. As another poster stated, the app has gone downhill, especially on Samsung devices. My last 3 phones, all Note-series including the newest Note 20 Ultra 5G, have taken forever to get this app working. i have the paid version and I'm very disappointed that I can't just install and use. I'll be more than happy to edit my rating when (if??) there is an update that actually plays well in the sandbox with Samsung phones.

Messed up my Galaxy S10+ after updating to Android 11. Caused frequent, random restarts, unable to Power Off the phone (Power Off would restart instead) Pixel users on Android 11 had same issue with any app that had access to notification lights and notifications. Sad, because it was a great service on previous OS's.

This app is so freaking amazing. It fixes the annoying way notifications are shown on a galaxy s8. Great job to all who made this y'all are great Edit : I reccomend this to anyone out there looking for options. it gives you so many options and it really really helps me.

This app used to be top notch with excellent efficiency and great customer service. Now, the LED function doesn't work on certain apps that used to, nor do I receive any replies from dev's. The developer probably no longer maintains the app or maybe jumped ship.

Very disappointed. I've been using this app for years and whenever I have an issue I send the developer an email and he's very quick to respond and helpful but this time I have an issue with my notifications not working and I've sent him two emails almost been a month and no response. Very disappointed.

It appears the developer has abandoned this once great app. It is useless on try he S10e. Lots of questions to the developer with no replies. Does anyone have any suggestions for a app that can customize notifications, and sounds like LightFlow. The camera front flash can be used for the LED function.

just put it on my mom's pixel 3a for the repeating notifications of audio and vibration. i know this was originally for controlling LEDs but i love the app so we put it on ber pixel despite it not having an LED indicator. works great of the audio and vibrate! reliable :)

Had stopped working after the last update and most of my notifications were lost. I then downloaded and installed an earlier version (lite) from the official website of REACTLE directly and they all work fine now. Love the app, the best out there 5*

I have always loved this app, but lately (past few months) the app is destroying my phone's battery life with the highest drainage of all apps by far. An email request to support has yielded no response. If the problem is not solved with the next update, uninstall only option left.

This is by far, the best free led notification I have tried. I love that I can completely customize soooo many app notifcations on my phone...especially the calendar, which NONE of the other free apps are able to do.

Works perfectly with Samsung S device on Pie. LED blinks exactly as i want... and stops after notifications are read or cleared. Countless customizations possible. Pro version is definitely worth the money. Great job developer!
