This app was great. I used it on several different phones and found it really helpful. Unfortunately, the developer appears to have abandoned it and some functions no longer work on new phones and/or newer versions of Android. Note to developer: please feel free to put some more work into this! Many of the people who paid for the app would appreciate it.
Works very nicely on my Blackberry Key2 (android 8.1.0). Using it for custom led colors and repeating notification sounds. The only thing missing from five stars is that it does not support multiple notifications of the same type. I.e. if an app has two notifications open, everything works as expected. But if only one of them is closed, light flow will stop the led blinking.
I've used this app on multiple Nexus and Pixel phones and it has worked superbly for me - being able to distinguish between apps' notifications at a glance is a much-needed feature for me. Sadly, I upgraded to a Google Pixel 4a recently and the phone itself does not have a notification LED at all. I'm keeping Light Flow installed because the custom vibration patterns are still helpful to me, but I hope that the dev will consider adding the ability to draw notifications to arbitrary screen regions (e.g. the edges of the screen, the top bar, or the ring surrounding the camera punch-out bezel). That would allow us with newer/differently equipped phones to continue using Light Flow to help with our notification management.
I've used this app with great success on the past 4 phones I've owned. Each new phone required a little tweaking in the settings to get it set up and the support was always there for me. Just bought a new phone and it won't work on it, no fault of the app but because my new phone (umidigi Z2 Pro) does not have a notification LED. Who does that? Might still use it for the vibration features alone though.
Works well with Xperia 1 iii's hardware RGB LED. Color don't always match what you select (more so hardware limitation really than this software) but it's good enough. Only thing not really working is the customizable LED flash rate. Slow, fast, or custom doesn't change speed. But you can change between always-on or flashing at least.
I tried several of these apps and this one works best on my LG G3 and has more features and it's a dollar less than the other popular app. It only flashes the notification LED on my phone if the screen is off and locked (not when turned off by Gravity Screen) but otherwise it seems to work well. If I can get it to work when the screen is unlocked but still off I'll give it 5 stars.
Worked great for years until I upgraded to Android 10. Now repeat Sounds try get at incorrect intervals or not at all. Vibrations, initial or repeat, rarely trigger at all. Tried all kinds of settings and uninstall/reinstall. No joy. Emailed developer twice - radio silence. Too bad - this was a great app.
I've tried all versions of this app (play store and website) and since upgrading my phone (Note 9) to Pie it doesn't work properly anymore. I didn't change anything between Oreo and Pie, but I don't get notifications if I'm using this app now. So for now I've uninstalled it, I hope it can be fixed because I've been using it for years.
I used to like this app a lot. Whatever GooglePlay did recently really screwed things up. I cant do anything on this phone without the app stopping. I've notified Reactle about it. Nothing has changed or been done on the phone itself. I reloaded the app directly from their site, and the app still continues to stop every time something is done on the phone. If the developers can fix this, great. If not, another good app ruined by Google Greed. I guess I'll uninstall it and do without.
After the latest update, I don't get any notification for missed calls. In the pre defined options, there's only Missed call (HD Voice) which is of no use. Am using this app since years which is why gave a 4 rating but the missed call miss is disappointing!
used it for years; might be a thing or two here or there that i could nit-pick on, but I'm gonna give this thing a 5 🌟 rating bc ultinately this app overall is good at what it does, with negligible issues. not gonna lie tho-- 94.7% of the reason that i use this app is so that when my phone reaches low battery threshold, Jarvis (Iron Man's personal software sidekick/assistant) chimes out of nowhere, "We are now running on emergency backup power".
Samsung phones can't do normal notifications, so this app is great. Recently App stopped working because Samsung now separates ringtone and notification volume, and notification is silent by default. Once the app is setup you never have to touch it again. 👍
Works randomly and inconsistently when it comes to repeating notifications on oneplus. it's not the oneplus that's the problem since the app "missed notification reminder" works flawlessly on the same oneplus device with the same notification access permissions. it even works without a persistent notification.
Used to be great. I bought it for its repeating sounds. Samsung Note 8 (GT-N5110) Android v4.4.2. Never used the LED part of it.. Now, it is broken and developer does not reply to emails. Uninstalled it and installed another app called 'Missed Notifications Reminder". Works a charm, on repeat sounds.
Useful for custom notifications and LED control if you have one. Lack of updates however ultimately means this has limited use as phones get updated versions of android. Worked great on Android 8, mostly worked on Android 9, sadly not functioning on Android 10. Farewell old friend.
This and Tasker are my main two apps. Unfortunately, Google is taking away apps ability to function properly. This app used to work perfectly with led/sound/vibration but features keep disappearing due to Google playing god. I don't fault the app developer which is why i gave it 5 stars. Awesome, useful all neutered by Google.
Doesn't work on Android Pie 9.0. I've messed around with various settings and even double checked my phone settings, and nothing works. Had to uninstall app and seek out another one. If you can fix this, I'd likley download again.
Does not work well with Samsung Galaxy s8 Worked for almost a day before it didn't. Did not flash correct colors till it didn't flash any colors. Just another app that takes your money but wait a day or two than it doesn't work and wait for it ...no refund. DO NOT BUY. if the free app works for you stay with it DON"T BUY
I have been using this app for years on my S5 with no issues. Now I have a S9 Plus and the only issue I have is........WHERE IS THE MISSED CALLS? I have emailed the dev twice and no replies. Everything else I have set up for notifications work......but the missed calls are MIA! Unfortunately I am now looking for another LED notification app.
Damn near a year with no updates. No repeat notification effects are working. Light flashes a single burst. Notifications are being automatically cleared.
Works great with my Galaxy S3 GT-I9305 with root and a custom ROM. The LED is very nice on this device, I use this as a WiFi device and all my notifications display with the color I assign to them. Great app
Excellent user interface and functionality; unfortunately, this app hasn't been updated in 2.5 years and is no longer supported. Not recommended to spend the $2.49 on.
Works perfectly fine on my Galaxy S9+ with Android 10. If it's not working try reinstalling the app as it fixed Android 10 LED problems. Then enable notification and accessibility access.
Like other users noted, not working 100% after an update. Used to be able to get a purple notification for texts, now it doesn't work. Disappointing!
I used it for my LG4 and it was perfect however after I updated my phone to the LG30, it no longer works. I sent a message to support on 2 days ago and have yet heard anything. I have the paid version of this so I'm frustrated. Again, loved it for my G4.
Been using this app since the Samsung S3 was new. Been a really good app. Now I don't think the developer does anything for the app no more as I've never seen any updates nore been getting responses from emails. Sad to see me delete the app now as I'm on android 11 One UI 3.1 Samsung has put a few more good custom features.
I installed this on by BLACKBERRY KEY2 (from 2018 and also running ANDRIOD 8.1 in 2022) as soon as I found out the generic ringtones and sounds included w/ the device and software were not individually selectable per application, notification or contact. LIGHTFLOW PRO easilly allowed me to do so and just the little things, as the few elaborated about above makes the smartphone experience much more pleasurable! I would highly recommend LIGHTFLOW PRO!
