Just what I have been looking for! Not checked exact accuracy yet but seems close and not found a simpler app to check each of the exposure triangle settings against each other. If it proves accurate would happily pay for this app.
very useful. very skeptic at 1st but usually in my room with 2x 35w LED I've got ISO 800 f5.6 SS1/4 and this app accurately read that. point it to the light guys not after the light bounce to the sensor, that's the right way to use light meter or flash meter according to many professional photographers.
Excellent incident light meter. Ensure that the light sensor on your device is clean (I was getting inaccurate readings at first bcus my screen protector over the sensor was very dirty. I ended up removing that part off the screen protector). This app works perfectly and I can now meter my flash ๐. P.s this app uses the built in light meter of your device and not the front facing camera.
Not sure any of these apps are accurate ๐ค The display is hard to read. I get he was trying to copy an old LCD display but it is hard to see in a lot of light conditions.
It measures the brightness of incident light which strikes objects' surface. You can simply aiming the object with holding your phone, then the measured value will be displayed on the screen. It worked really well.
For the settings shown when used as mentioned, images are way too overexposed. The meter in the camera is more accurate.
Simple app that works well and is quick to use. I would like to pay for a version without ads. Making the Measure button larger would help the usability a lot.
I just downloaded your app. When I hit the measure button I get sensor error. I uninstalled and reistalled several times but the same sensor error comes up. Anyway to fix it?
1. it uses the front camera, which has less dynamic range than the rear ones 2. the calculations are all wrong, it is at least a few stops over exposed
due to the color theme not readable in sunlight. non obvious knobs to select calculation methode. sensor correction not in stops but a strange graphic.
Very nice. One star removed, because no option to pay and remove ads. Mr Dev, Pleeeeease make a PAID VERSION. Otherwise, seem accurate to my old analog Weston II analogue meter.
Perfect, simple light meter. Would prefer to pay for a paid version without ads though.
Simple, well designed interface. This is an amazing tool for home studio photography.
Seems like a good, but also seems wildly inaccurate. Keeps advising me toward longer exposures the brighter the area!?
Calibrated the app using a light meter and the readings are inaccurate and fluctuate quite a bit.
i thought it was without ad as it was showing without ad mark but after installing it showed ad written play store screen.
works nice. You should add some function like measure with one of the lateral buttons instead setting steps
brightness of app very dim and not adjustable. All my other apps on this phone are very bright.
Wish it had the option to use the rear camera and take refected light measurements.
easy to use, works as intended - clearly structured GUI
Best app, Good interface.. Very good. ๐๐ป
Great app! Does its job beautifully.
Easy to use and practical
I love this app. I just wish the measure button was bigger
Only uses the selfie camera. Useless because of that.
Doesn't install. Hate apps like this that screw up my phone.
Very inaccurate on my S21 Ultra
Says 5.0 EV. Repeated readings give "sensor error "
Great and accurate
This is by far the best Light meter, and the easiest to use for photography, you can set it using aperture/shutter priority and get correct exposure. most of the people may use the app incorrectly thats why they get inaccurate results. you always need to remember te enable the measure to get it work properly.
