Operating instructions :-Touch the screen a first time when you see the flash of lightning.-Touch a second time when you hear the thunder.==>The distance from you to the impact point will be displayed and you will have the possibility to choose to view the result on a map, view the measurements history or make a new measurement.On the map a blue circle indicate where the thunderbolt has fallen.
How does it work ?This application uses the difference of speed between light and sound, in fact the light of the lightning reaches you almost instantaneously while the sound takes several seconds to run through the distance between you and the place where the thunderbolt has fallen.By measuring this duration, this applications calculates the distance ...
This application can be store on SD card !!!Activation of the GPS is not necessary but with it you can be located more precisely rather than by means of cellular networks.

Garbage, all it does is count the mileage between strikes you see and thunder you hear
it's waste of time alot of thing like rain forcast clouds is not in this
Fun, easy to use app
For some reason, when I try to take a measurement, it says it stopped working and shuts off. Can someone please fix this problem? I Uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted data, and even paid for the pro version. It keeps stopping on both. Help please. This problem was small and was fixed fast. Love this app. It's awesome!

Why does this app need permission to access my microphone and camera at any time? (Update after reply from dev.) Understood. Thank you for the reply. Will be testing this app soon as I live in New England and we have rolling electric storms that get bad enough to hide in a basement with taquilla and pillows.
Haven't had a chance to really understand how it works but I'm sure I will, but just coming up with this idea is great. Hope I can figure out how it works.

Only had this app for 8 days, & have used it 5 times already. To say that it is accurate is an understatement, in fact all info this app has given me in regards to where & how far away the lightning struck, can be verified. This app is proving helpful & safe. I shan't be without it now.

Clear and sunny... Says lightning struck close to me...
Way back when I was a meteorology student this app would have been great! Anyone whoj enjoys the outdoors should have this app. Please remember, if you can hear thunder, you can be struck by lightening! Please be careful! Great job on the GPS component. None of the other free apps I tried have that feature.
It tells me you have to pay and then it says hahaha tricked you. Well I'm deleting this game.this game is crazy
Like this app. Fun way to pass the time when the power is out Or when camping. When the lightening starting to get close its time too pack up and head home.
Downloaded to help ay a baseball game. Good way to tell if we need to stop for safety.
