Storms can be generated using multiple parameters such as background ambient sound, thunder frequency, color of the lightning as well as duration of the lightning. Lightning is shown using screen colors (more realistic effect but requires darker environment) or with led flash (amazingly powerful effect). You can set the color and duration of thunder strikes, the background sounds and set the timer. If you prefer only sounds to be heard, you can disable lightning or even the other way around. New storm background sounds as well as thunder sound effects are being constantly added .

What are the elements of this app?
- A thunderstorm, also known as an electrical storm, a lightning storm, thundershower or simply a storm, is a form of turbulent weather characterized by the presence of lightning and its acoustic effect on the Earth's atmosphere known as thunder. The meteorologically assigned cloud type associated with the thunderstorm is the cumulonimbus. Thunderstorms are usually accompanied by strong winds, heavy rain and sometimes snow, sleet, hail, or no precipitation at all. Those that cause hail to fall are called hailstorms. Thunderstorms may line up in a series or rainband, known as a squall line. Strong or severe thunderstorms may rotate, known as supercells. While most thunderstorms move with the mean wind flow through the layer of the troposphere that they occupy, vertical wind shear causes a deviation in their course at a right angle to the wind shear direction.

App said "You've opened this app 3 times, it's high time you support". lol. so here it is, a review. It's cool. I like it. I dont use addons like Halloween sounds or owls. I use rain. and thunder. I do not use the screen or flash for lightning as i just want sound. decent lightweight app.
Really like this app, very relaxing. Want a neat idea? If you could tie in somehow and use one of those wifi bulbs as the flash. Would be neat to light up the whole room with controlable flash brightness and different colors to. Just a thought, but awesome as it is.
Fun, but like so many others, the flash doesn't work on pixel 5a either. Very confused trying to get it working, but it looks unsupported. People reported this since 2018... looks like it should be fixed or removed as an option (wasted 20 minutes).
simple and effective, easily an addition to my sleep routine and overall bedroom ambience. would love more sound fx options and more precise volume control (windchimes on lowest volume are still too loud), but as is i just play it over other ambience sources like youtube and spotify and it's Great
Lowering my rating, still not having any luck with LED function on this app. Also, the thunder sounds entirely too much like I'm outside. I'd like a rumble, like I'm indoors (which I am).
Excellent sound AND light! Settings can be changed for a wide variety of sounds and timing of lightning. Excellent app!
You can't control the intensity of lightning in this app only its frequency I like a light rain with lightning in the distance. With this app you can only have light rain an occasional Transformer explosion.
Works fine but lightening stops working on the LED within minutes...it would have got a 5 star otherwise.
5 stars for good idea and for wanting to improve. But flash light is not working in my device through this app (I checked already all permits on my device and everything is allowed). So I can use it only through display light.
Just more customisation overall. And maybe more lightening options. Other than that, great app. Looking forward to updates.
Great app. I placed an old smart phone in a diy cloud made from fiberfill and chicken wire "Pintrest" along with a blue led light. They worked great especially when in a dark room and suspended by fishing line.
I use this app for two things to help me sleep and for Halloween it works well for both no problems yet either then I some times can't save some settings but that's ok
Very awesome. When we have no real thunder storms and i want to watch lightning, this app does the job. However, i wish it had background play.
i love it! fell alseep quite fast and there's also another part about Halloween time to use. So that'll be interesting to try as well...
Crashes too often but otherwise very much a lightning storm. Great for sleep.

Doesn't work with Galaxy S10 flash. Major flaw if you are trying to simulate lightning.
Like it, but it keeps turning off after a few minutes, even when I have it set to 6 hours
Sounds cuts out so you have to reset it all the time.This is junk.....Rain Rain app much better ;-)
Its better sounds. You can put like as many hours you can and not a repeat.
Good sound effects however the led flash doesn't work for lightning.

This app is mind blowing it's a great sleep thing i some how never felt more refreshed in 20yrs but now i have i don't know what i'd do with out it

Flash does not work on s9+ worked fine on my s9 please fix
I really like this app. I can't however figure how I would connect it to a light source other than my phone and still have the Bluetooth connected to a speaker to improve the thunder sound. Also I don't care for any Halloween effects especially the bird in the background I guess it's an owl. Other than that they certainly have the thunder down pat.
