In terms of gameplay, Lightseekers is awesome. Simple, straighforward gameplay. Offers something a little different from the other big digital card games. It's also neat that there's a physical card game as well and that the two connect somewhat. The app itself is great, well designed. Again, somewhat simple and streamlined compared to other digital card games (which is a good thing). Good tutorials. Online play is easy to get into. Only small critique is that the campaigns are CRAZY difficult.
The game and the mechanics are really fun and original. The problem is that unless you spend a ton of money, it's quite difficult to get boosters to open. There are quests that give you gold, but between the fact that you can't reroll quests, and the objectives are totally boring and grinding, getting gold to buy boosters becomes extremelly monotonous and unexciting.
Very interesting game with a lot of depth! The variery of card types and 'colors' is vast. Deckbuilding really is a fascinating process, it takes a lot of thought and is very rewarding when what you built your deck to do actually happens. The gameplay is truly a breath of fresh air, quite a few interesting new elements that I as a veteran card game player have never heard of before, and a lot of interaction between cards in a game, both your and your opponent's, make it a real challenge and fun.
The game mechanics are cool. The controls are nice. The graphics are okay. One thing that hits me bad is the gameplay. It's super cringing with the super limited action of 2 per turn. What's more cringing is that you have to decide if you are going to draw a card with those two turns. Not for people lookomg for a fast gameplay
Hard pressed to find a card game with cooler and better mechanics. Also, you don't even have to continously spend money just because a new set comes out. Ranked play is done in the best manner I've ever seen a card game do that allows you to play with old sets and keep all cards relevant. I absolutely love how different each order feels while still keeping the same mechanics. I see some solo content on Switch though that I don't see on android though so... I don't know what's up with that.
I like the additional strategic thought required with cards that rotate effects/damages, and the gameplay is pretty fair (so far my first day). P2W here seems more or less moot early in the game, although i'm sure there's plenty later on to appeal to whales. It takes a bit to figure out how to play right, but worth it. I really would like to see dual-element (faction?) decks be possible. I tried a deadly water combo to find I couldn't use the deadly part because I used the water hero.
Really enjoy this game, but I do wish some of the challenges were a little less.. well.. challenging. I have been stuck on the Hive Queen for a month, but the bonus is that one memorized a lot of cards by watching my doom unfold before my eyes. I have also gotten plenty of deck building practice building deck after deck to beat her. I might be getting a little TOO frustrated trying to compete this one challenge... anyone have any ideas? Anyone? Someone please free me from my misery!!
Good game but the player base seems awfully small.. either that or there are issues creating matches. Sometimes you instantly find a opponent other times you can wait for minutes before cursing and closing the app. Needs more campaign options and callenges for those times when you can't get a match/opponent.. with not much to do you lose interest. I'm at that point now
Been a MTG player since the 90's and am enjoying being on board with this new game since the Awakening. Deck mechanics have some new and innovative ideas that have captured my attention. less cards and limited actions make it play much faster than MTG making it more accessible for both novice and competitive players. I love that I can scan, build, and tweak my deck digitally to get an idea of how it plays before tearing my physical decks down... while also building copies of my digital dream deck on the side. thanks for all the efforts to put together a full spectrum game! and so, ...along with all the kudos... here is my 5th star worthy WISH LIST: - Please don't have the challenger quest rounds count in the wins/games played inspect stat totals... those rounds are boarder line unfair... but not impossible... I enjoy the challenge, just would like to only advertise my online stats... not the 100+ times a CPU obliterated me using the same combo 6 times in a row... - When playing against the CPU in practice mode, select from different levels of difficulty and/or upgraded "legal" competitive decks to challenge. - Is multiplayer with friends digitally possible on this platform in the future...? - Maybe create a space in the inspect screen or friend leaderboard to show and compare accomplishment badges...? ...and lastly, Bugs. these days with any new technology... all programs have a few... it's the dreaded nature of the beast.. however, I've no doubt you'll move mountains to buff out the scratches and it'll all be water under the trolas bridge... ;)~ but we did find a few minor ones in the latest version; emails to support were sent yesterday awaiting reply; there were a few others we had found in the old version; although, we've not yet had the cards play out the same to check in the latest update. - all and all though, I'm a fan! Cheers.
Ive been playing the game for years now. Very unique and fun card game. Like most moble card games you need to put in the time if your not spending money to collect the cards you want. I have spent little to no money and have just about everything I want. That said the system is very fair. Just do your missions and weekly challenges and you can earn a healthy amount of free packs. The crafting system is also very fair for this genre of game.
App keeps crashing... I have Lightseeker cards, I just can't scan them because it keeps crashing... could you update the game to have a setting in the option menu to help fix the low speed and crashes I'm having with this app? This even happens no matter if I have powersaving mode on or not. I'm running a tablet known as Viking RCA, it's my only way to scan my cards and I need a way to deal with the lags and crashes! Please fix PlayFusion!
It's a good game and I believe it to be much better than Age of Sigmar Champions. My only gripe with it is that the menus look bad. They look cheaply and poorly done with that generic look to it that a lot of the crappy shovelware RPG's on the app store use. That could use an overhaul. Age of Sigmar Champions has great looking menus. Just do it like that.
Great game reminiscent of a simplified magic the gathering kinda. I play on switch and phone under the name Toad, anywho would be 5 stars but no chat. It really needs a chat, ranked matches are hard to get Goin and I think that'd help. Hmm, I think that's it. If you're a tcg kinda person try this 5/5 recommend.
By far the best free digital card game available. With enough skill even some of the starter decks are usable, I was able to win all 5 of my placement matches for ranked with just the starter Mountain deck. The games easy to learn and can get very deep and the cost and frequency of packs is very fair. The developers are great and the games also on Switch! You can use the same account for both. Try this game! Its FREE!
The graphics and concept seem to be created for children. The only thing of note in the entirety of this app are the rotating cards, but after a few hands they just become redundant and tiresome. Lightseekers is a waste of time and data... unless you 8 years old. Do. Not. Download.
Great game, lots of variety, originally thought you could only obtain cards through rng chest rolls but you can also craft specific cards you want, granted it's not super easy to get the materials(alot of them anyway) but it makes building specific decks slightly more doable, get lots of order specific boosters when you level orders though so yea all around great game. If your into magic this is the closest thing I think for mobile, would reccomend.
Hi there! New to the game but find it very fun. I do have a question/issue though. I've played a lot of the campaign so far, and for some reason when playing through the first six opponents of each element, I never unlocked the Astral starter deck. I unlocked Storm, Tech, Nature, and Mountain. I started with Dread, almost at random cause I didn't know what each deck had and from what I read I'd unlock each one somehow anyway. Also, the support email here on Google Play doesn't work :(
Hey Guys. Your game is awesome and I don't anything to complain about mechanics and gameplay. It's just fantastic. But there is a small problem with pack opening. Sometimes when I open the pack, some cards are marked as repeated but I don't get shards for them. I think it might be a small bug. Greatings!
This game is immensely fun! I've never ever liked card games and Lightseekers completely changed that. It's intuitive, unique, nicely paced. After playing this for just a few weeks, myself and another went out to buy the physical starter decks! It's been loads of fun and I honestly can't wait till it grows more! Both player base and content in game! ^_^
Game is very good. My only grip is about draw. I have been in several matches where both lives have been dropped to zero and it is not logged as a draw. Also due to card effect I have lowered opponent's life to zero then they lower mine. I am given a loss, which should have resulted in a win or at least a draw.
Apparently, the guys who made the campaigns, thinks that letting the opponents break the rules of the game is a nice challenge. (Example since it's not obvious to the guy that replied to me) letting the opponent use whatever number of a card, instead of 3,needed to hinder you or however many combos that are the same. Janitor Swoop for example. How does playing against any of these campaigns gear you up for a real game? Rhetoric. Everything about the game is awesome.
Really solid TCG battle game with interesting mechanics, and rules that aren't too hard to understand. I like that the apps free and although you can pay money for cards and stuff, it is really not necessary in order to be competitive. I haven't paid for it yet in like a year of playing and have no problem staying competitive. Also no ads.
Decent card game with interesting mechanics. Throws you early against players with better decks pretty much out the door. Kind of frustrating to constantly lose games while grinding missions to get more cards from the get go. Might be worth it if you have the time or money to stick with it for a while.
For a simple yet deep card game this is the one for you. The gameplay is fun and the art has a unique style. The music is a little generic so I just turn it off but that still is a ding from me. If you have an itch for a tcg that can be played digitally or physically give this game a try.
Just as clean and innovative as the best onlune card games. It has turning cards timer gives it a new feel and i like the freedom not paying lands or crystals but actual cards to play cards meaning you try to pick cards you wont need for this particular enemy. It turns what is a weakness to be fixed in other games into an interesting choice.
I was searching since ages for a good TCG, as I had never played one. For any beginner/non-beginner, this is just perfect 💯 The controls are easy, understandable rules and very awesome to play, which is mainly due to its complexity, it's depth and the strategic gameplay it offers, while being simple at the same time. The only thing that I would suggest the developers is that they can improve the graphics, which is the only con of the game. In every other sense, the game is just perfect!!♥️
