14 classic & unique drum kits/percussion banks as well as 168 .wav samples get you started sequencing drum beats and mixing & matching sounds.

Very Nice!!! Sound quality is superb! Awesome for electronic music (techno, house). It sounds so crisp. Finally an app that recognizes my sample folder and the UI is gorgeous and simple. This is really well done. I have a huge request and you will make my dream come true. A looper so i can incorporate some audio loops wouldn't be too much to ask i hope? I love this app. Hats off to the developer. This is top notch and addictive to use...which is the whole point (to be inviting/tempting to use)
I rarely purchase apps to compliment my DAW workflow, but after trying the demo I had to buy this. The user interface is intuitive and quick to produce a usable drum pattern which I can export as MIDI to use in my DAW of choice. The ability to import samples and add effects is exactly what I was missing. I just didn't know I was missing this in my life. I would love to see a step sequencer added to this, so I can visualize all the patterns at once
Legendary. Own Full Version. Highly recommend. Years ago I saw my first drum machine very similar to this layout at a friend's. Suggestion; Resizable font for visually impaired and older users. I did NOT purposely read any directions and only went off of my intuition. In mere moments I was using the app. Based on a diff. drum machine Hammerhead Rhythm Station - not supported by its dev(s) now was what I used in Windows 95 to XP.
Enjoy using it and the sample input is my main interest in using the app. What I will say is that there is an issue trying to pull samples out of a directory on the SD card; there is no way to get to the root of the SD card while choosing samples. If you are inventive and want to take samples you chopped up, you'll find soon your phone's memory is too full. I would highly recommend trying to amend this in the next update so that you can ship all of Lil Drum Machine onto a large SD card.
Teoti Graphix is a developer from whom I can purchase LITERALLY ANY APP and be more than satisfied, and this is no exception...engaging and a lot of fun. Having the opportunity to experiment around with the effects, etc. in a more conventional and visible manner than Caustic is worth the price of admission alone. Plus, I often set up a beat on it and play guitar along with it. Hats off to Teoti Graphix!
Great app! I use reason and never thought Id use an Android app for beats.. but this is cool..i can work on beat ideas on the go.. as mentioned in the other reviews, Iam really missing the triplets and other timing grids.
This fantastic drum machine functions as intended and has perfect stability and samples. Not much else to say about it.
Great sound & workflow. But update needed: using this app silences any sound notifications on Galaxy S9 OS9, so I have to force shut it after each use.
Doesn't seem to support irregular pattern lengths. This is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise it's just dandy.

nice but tiny text not for smartphones. it ought to have a smartphone layout.
Overly complicated, more for a digital sound rather than actual drums.
I can't work out how to change to different sounding kits like a standard rock kit. does anyone know how to change the kit?

Been using this app for a few years now and it is still the best out there. If you're a Caustic 3 user, this app is a must-have. You will not find a better drum machine.
Top app and great dev. Got in touch with a bug and all was fixed with great communication. Hours of fun to be had, well worth the price of a cup of coffee.
This machine is only capable of 4/4 based timings. You cannot do 3/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/4 etc. Triplets are also not possible. This makes what a appears to be a great app virtually unusable.
I like it but I haven't had time to really go over the whole lauoit. I don't know what it can handle as far samples go. But the one problem I did have.... it freezes a lot and kicks me out.

It's excellent DM many future possibilities with caustic which i lile very much check out also caustic packs from seller excellent also cheers to the beat box!!!!
This app is incredible. I bought it to delay my purchase of the analog hardware version and the app is exceeding all expectations. The sounds are Top notch and it has full pro level features. I plan on passing the beats through analog hardware and tape for vibe, but honestly the sounds are already good enough to use on records. I run an independent record label and I expect to be able to use this app to make beats on my phone and import them into my pro studio.
