LINE WEBTOON - Free Comics

I really enjoy the app and love its features. However, it's annoying when I lose reading progress when I log in from another device. Also, when I want to read a canvas story but there's an ad, I can never watch the ad. I want to support canvas creators in any way I can, but I can't even watch an ad, much less enjoy the story. Having these 2 issues fixed would be great. But out of reading visual stories, webtoon is definitely the best in both image and service (promos/reading marketing)

The content is great but my only problem is that the website and app are not in sync. I don't necessarily read only on the app or my computer so it gets annoying when I try to switch devices as the progress on one device doesn't transfer to the other one. (but this isn't annoying enough to cut stars though as I feel that all the other good things easily make up for it but I would like it to be improved ) Edit: Please fix internet connection issue...

Webtoon is a wonderful app filled with many different comics and art styles! The wide variety of comics means you'll never get bored, it's really great. I personally have never had any problems with the app and I think the layout is really beautiful and clean. The only thing I would be a bit mad about is that you can only download a specific Webtoon once, then after that you cannot download episodes from that Webtoon again.

The daily pass system is terrible. If you end up on an expired episode in recents, it will immediately prompt you to unlock the episode again and if you hit cancel you go back to your list of series. You can go to your list of favorites to get to chapter select but found this such a silly oversight. Nobody likes this system at all honestly. Fast pass was fine but for everything new now, you may as well read it somewhere else.

I would NOT reccomend this app to anyone unless they are willing to spend money to actually enjoy reading the stories. Once a series is completed Webtoon decided that it was a great idea to have a (1 free daily pass)... meaning you can only read one episode a day for free. This is a big deal considering most series have at least 100 episodes, and it is not enjoyable spending 6 months trying to finish a story, only to forget everything that happened in the first half because it took so long.

This app is filled with entertaining stories. I underestimated how amazing this app is, now I use it every single day. I can never get enough of my favorite comics, & there's so many to choose from. I also may add that there are no disruptive ads on Webtoon, so you don't have to worry about being interrupted in your read. Fantastic app with so much to offer.

It's awesome for reading comics! I love how there's a wide variety so I'll always find something to read, I just have a slight issue, i don't mind it but coins are a little hard to get unless you participate in events or if you buy them.. and the daily pass thing isn't so bad, except it makes me wait just to read the next episode of it, I've been interested in DeadLife a lot, but it's daily pass.

I re-downloaded the app and lost all my progress, including my purchases. Webtoon is too complicated. It saves your reading history on your device but not the account. You can't log in using your email that was connected to it else it'll create another account. If your account wasn't verified properly you'll lose your purchases and cannot get them back. They say your subscriptions will remain but that is also lost. This app is a bother. I give it one 1 star because I need to read Bighit comics.

I am a huge fan of Webtoon because of it's beautiful comics, mangas, and manhuas. I have been using this app for 5 years, and I'm still using it cuz I really love it. However, after I downloaded the latest version, it's loading process went slow even though my internet connection is stable. IDK why it happens sometimes but I hope this would be fixed. Thanks

Honestly, one of my favorite apps. It has many different varieties of webcomics to read and very user friendly! Only reason it isn't 5 star is because some webcomics are doing a daily pass that only unlocks for 14 days. Like what the heck!! What if I want to reread some comics and it's locked again. I see no point for it. Hopefully they find a better alternative to that daily pass.

Love the app, I've been using it for years. My only complaint is that, with the new updates, the app's "Recently" section no longer holds my most recently read comics. This has proven to be very aggravating, especially when I want to read (without binging) any WUF comics, or any that are completed, bc I have to search them up every time to find them easily.

Not very impressed with the last few updates. The new "recent reads" is awful and the most recent list you want to read disappears meaning if you go back it's gone until the next time you click on it or have to search through the subscribed list. On top of this, there's been awful glitches with the reading challenges and I have had the May challenge and the last action challenge not register my episodes I've read. Emailed the service center and they fed me the same BS and didn't fix the issue.

Great selection of comics and artists. It's a bit hard to select an artist you like and see all their work. When you click "Don't show this ad again," it comes right back. The coin system is not great. Where comics require you view an ad to see them, the ads frequently don't work. Kind of a mess.

Recently, there's been a problem with the "catch up on these series" tab in the mobile app, which until recently displayed all of the series that had updated within the last 24 hours. The list has been removing items randomly, and I have to scroll through my subscribed list to find the comics I want to read. Please fix!

Great app with a lot of amazing creators. My only reason for not giving five stars boils down to the same thing: coins. One, I'm broke, but that's not on Webtoon. I just wish there were more ways to consistently get small amounts of coins. I'd more than happily watch fifty ads if it meant I got three coins to unlock another daily pass episode. Still, I understand where they're coming from, so do not take this the wrong way if you're considering installing the app. It's very much so worth it.

I have enjoyed this app a lot since the past year and I really love the comics on it. Recently for the first time I have started to face an issue with the app. It keeps showing "No internet connection" though my network is very strong. I have tried different ways to fix it already including unistalling and reinstalling it back. I see that a lot others including me are facing this very issue. Please fix it as soon as possible! I really miss the comics I read.

I have yet to find a bad thing about this app; it has variety, dedicated and amazingly talented authors, and it's all free. The only thing I could ask for is syncing your reading progress across multiple devices. For example, I have 2 devices with the same account logged in on both but different progress amounts for each comic depending on which device I read it on. Not a necessary thing but it's a little annoying.

Good for passing time. The shape of your phone screen can cut into the text sometimes, but zoom allows you to change perspective. I would like to ask that a buffer be provided at the start of a panel, for thise of us who have a camera dipping down on our screens. Takes up a quarter of an inch sometimes. But it is very user friendly for being a free platform.

Really good and intuitive app that doesn't make you pay for everything and you still enjoy the webtoon of really good artists! The only 2 problems I have (although the 2nd isn't really a problem but more of a preference) are: -Sometimes, when I want to like a like to support the series I read, it doesn't register -I would really like to have a scroll bar to at least see my progression in the webtoon I'm reading or to navigate faster in it.

This app is amazing, and I for the most part have no problems with it. It has great stories, and is free! The reason for 4 stars is that I wish there was a way to recover the stories youve read if you delete the app and lately everything is becoming a daily pass, which makes the stories hard to enjoy. It's especially annoying when there is over 100 episodes for a series.

I absolutely love this app!!! I love reading the comics!! But there's 1 thing that bothers me. Let's say for example that there are multiple comics with the same name. If I wanted to show my friends one, I can't screenshot to show them exactly which one. I understand why this rule or setting would be in place, because some people steal others rightful art work. I just get a bit annoyed by this.

It's a great app and I love the various comics, genres and sub genres available, I've always enjoyed reading the comics on here. I would suggest keeping up with the comics though, when an artist completes the series while your on a short break from the app you'll only be able to read one chapter a day after a certain point and this kinda discourages me personally because I'm a super fast reader and when I can't finish a story at my own pace it makes me upset.

This app is awesome, you can read everything for free and you are guaranteed to find something you will like. Though, the reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I've been experiencing an issue. If I don't go on the app for a long period of time, the progress I had on webtoons I've read will be removed. I'll still have the webtoons in my history but I'll lose my episode progress, which is really frustrating. I can't memorize things well and I read a lot of webtoons.

It was a pretty good app before but recently, every time I try to read a new chapter with the "watch an ad to gain access to this chapter" things on it, it always tells me there are no ads available and to try again later. That would be fine if it didnt happen every single time! The "watch an ad" chapters are basically the exact same as every other chapter I have to wait to see when it gets released because the app apparently has no ads for me at all. Pretty annoying and hope they fix this.
