I very much appreciate this app; it really does enable line practice in several very effective ways. That said, the interface is a bit clunky, and I would definitely prefer that the "prompt" button toggle the prompt--i.e. start and stop/reset the prompt instead of starting/restarting the prompt--because I often want to hear only the first few words, but there's no simple way (that I've been able to divine) to simply stop the prompt once it's playing. Still, a very valuable tool, thank you!

Could be more useful. I used to be able to drive for a while and run my lines, but now it keeps pausing at random points when running in the background, and I can't switch from maps for the app to keep playing while I'm driving. If that was fixed, and a few UX improvements, it would be the perfect companion app for actors.

I purchased this app about two years ago and I love it. I am in my third year at college as a theatre major and I would not be able to get everything done without this app. Twice now, I have stepped into a show super last minute (1-2 weeks before opening) and this app has helped me to get off book in about 2 days. I'm sure with more frequent use I would be able to do it even quicker. As my roommate says, I "swear by it." I use the app to learn my lines for every show I'm in as well as scenes for class, and it makes learning lines super easy. I have not been able to figure out how to import a script, but I find that speaking the lines to record them helps me learn them even faster, although it is a little time consuming to get the app set up for each new scene or show.

App doesn't contain the speed up/slow down feature. Feel like I paid for a partial app. Response from the developer: "Unfortunately the speed up and slow down feature is only available on Apple devices as Android does not provide that capability. The speed up and slow down feature is such a small part of the app, and it doesn't really affect how it works at all."

I'm so frustrated with this app. I've been using it a lot. However, I can not figure out how to delete a recorded line. This is very inconvenient especially if I accidently record a line and want to delete it later on, my only option is so far to doubt over all the other lines right after that one line and therefore re-record the from there on ??? Why is this so complicated?! Also to move lines I have to scroll all the way up, push the love button and the. It needs to be more intuitive

I can hardly hear anything on my samsung s9 even with head phones and my volume maxed out and the setting turned on for samsung and pixel phones. There isn't an easy way to skip back or ahead on lines. When I try to open the full instructions I get an error message saying the page is missing, same with the FAQs page. So far very unimpressed.

It took me some time to figure out how to use this app, but now that I know i can say that it is a life safer for every actor.

Garbage on Android. Can't even get it to read a single line, show characters, or anything. The free app after this one on the Google play store is performing better. I need my money back.

App still has the issue of skipping over the other characters' lines when audio is connected via Bluetooth. To see that reviews were mentioning this over a year ago as of 01/19/19 and nothing has changed, might be a sign the developers have abandoned this app.

Since upgrading to a Samsung S10 the sound on playback mode is inaudible. I notice I'm not the only one with this complaint (different phones too). Please advise. I loved this app before and hope it's not a ploy to encourage use of different apps now its bought and paid for.

I paid for this app because of the ability to change the pitch of lines which weren't mine, so I could differentiate between them. there seems to have been an update which removed this functionality, making it pretty much useless for me. could you bring this back please!

I can shout my lines into the phone and when I play it back it sounds like whispers no matter how high I turn the volume up on my phone. Everything in settings is fine, volume is up,permissions granted, it still wont play at full volume.

This is one of the greatest tools I have for learning lines. I spend a lot of time driving and once set this app runs itself hands free. I love a recently added feature for speed reading of lines. Awesome.

This app has been a lifesaver for me and is wonderful for practicing my lines while commuting. I love the recent update that allows me to speed up the other actors. It really helps me get through the script faster!!!

Could not figure anything out. Finally got a scene uploaded but then was still unable to record lines or do anything other than look at the uploaded PDF. My friends on iOS don't seem to have this problem, so I'm gonna assume they drop the ball on Android development. Waste of money.

DO NOT use this app if you have an Android. It does not work and is a completely different interface than for Apple devices. It was clearly developed for Apple devices and development stopped there.

Garbage! Doesn't save settings, waste of money, buyer beware

Not as reported. Will not read to voice downloaded content. Only downloads via google docs. You have to voice and record all characters. Tone doesn't change. No way to delete mistakes. Wasted $3.99 doing this, and can't get a refund now.

This is a wonderful app - has the skeleton an actor needs to flesh out the character and learn lines incredibly fast! The only thing I might add is a section for wardrobe notes for various scenes. Great app - thanks!

the app wouldn't import my script from Google drive or even give me the option to download from any of my other apps and kept telling me to download the line learner import option from google play store which doesn't seem to exist i did try several times. if I wanted to manually input a script I'd use one of the free options sorry to leave such a review but these bugs need to be addressed

Will not play other person's lines at all. Volume is still so low that I can barely hear my own lines. Terribly disappointed as it was once a very useful and highly rated app.

I have an Android (Samsung S9) and I've watched all the tutorials and I cannot get the PDF to upload!! I am beyond annoyed and I purchased this app. I don't even see the option now to enter the text manually!! Please advise ASAP!!
