Lingo
How to play?The objective of the game is to find the 5-letters words (in 5x5 mode). You have only five attempts to guess (one turn). After approval the word, that word will appear on the board. The letters entered word will be displayed in a specific color on the main board.
What are the colors?Green: The letter is in the right place.Yellow: The letter is in the word, but it is not the right place.Blue: The letter does not occur in the guessed word.
Scoring:The game uses the following scoring scheme:Word guessed on the first attempt: you earn 5 points.Word guessed at the second attempt: you get 4 pointse.t.c..Collect as many points to unlock trophies (achievements).
Bonuses and achievements in the game:During the game you will be able to earn achievements and bonuses. The best results are saved in Google Play. Bonuses:
- Every 5 correctly guessed words
- you get an extra chance.
- During the game you can use the 2 hint letters (star icon).
Game time:Time the whole game is not limited
- you play until you have a "chance". Limited is the duration of one turn. Time to guess the word is 2:30 minutes (in 5x5 mode).You start with 3 "chances".
The words under control:Just as in the original game show Lingo, each word is checked for correctness (the game has a built-in dictionary)
- default mode. Of course, you can turn off the dictionary in Settings.
You can guess words in: English, French, Dutch and Polish language.
We wish you many correctly guessed words.

Was really enjoying this, however the board has just started flickering loads when I try to play, which makes my eyes feel funny, and the colours aren't coming out properly anymore. Also a save and come back to option would be great for some of the unlimited number of words games, as I can play those forever as I keep getting additional lives (esp in the 6 letter ones as you can normally get the word in 6 goes with 6 letters tried each time) !!
Ads are fine. But they place the ads over the word box so you can't type letters without clicking on them. I played four rounds and then instantly deleted it from my phone. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Ads hide the last row of letters. Really frustrating. Even on the tablet the ads at the bottom of the screen make it so difficult to press your letters without activating the advert to display. You need to fix this
Glitchy. The important buttons are too small for your fingers, and sometimes It suddenly says game over even when you have a tonne of time left on the clock. Once it said game over after I got the word correct!! Annoying since it is such a simple concept.
Really addictive game, sometimes I play for hours without realising. Three things id change to get 5 stars, 1. Add some harder words. 2. If you put a word in that isn't in the dictionary you should loose a life. 3. Don't keep adding lives throughout the game as it just makes it long winded when id rather keep it short. You could also do the game in levels so do 4 word lingo and then 5 and so on like the TV show. Brilliant game otherwise
Was zoomed to far in on my screen that I couldn't access half of the keyboard. Not sure if its because I have a newer phone as I have the s10 lite. But works perfectly fine on my partners s9. Think I would of enjoyed it More if I could of had full access to the screen.
Generally I'm enjoying the game but... I am experiencing a LOAD OF glitches. The timer randomly flicks between times, answers appear before I finish, lives being lost for no reason. Really annoying and makes the game ultimately unplayable.
They use non-existent words, weird names and one even included a period. (there is no option for a period on the keyboard) There is not a big selection of words and Im constantly getting the same ones. This game also switches languages without warning. This app needs work.
I chose my language when i first downloaded the app, but it keeps reverting to Polish even though I haven't logged out! It's annoying because I then have to log out to change it back, & I lose my scores!!
It's a cool game of thought and vocabulary. I have a lot of fun playing. It's a good pass time. There are commercials but they are short and not overwhelming. Try it out!
My issues are with some of the ridiculous words they come up with. Out of all the words they have to chose fromㅡ they should stick with the more common ones (words that most people know). Then, the game randomly (sometimes after the 2nd guess) reveals the word & the round just ends… pretty irritating❢❢❢
Good game, but after a while the timer starts to act randomly eg. The countdown goes 55,2,50,1:30,57,0 and therefore you have no idea how long you've got to play.
Gives the first letter of the word, which is great. Wordle gave me no hints and theres lots of 5 letter words out there. Really like this game. This game makes you think.
Puts your mind to work without being too too intense. There is timing on it but I don't feel rushed. It is a reasonable amount of time.
I was upto over 100 with 15 lives but you can't save progress 😡 and the advert bar covering the keyboard is so annoying, I don't read the ads when caught accidentally so what's the point
It's very good, gets you thinking & working out the right words next in line; Good for your memory.
Good for making you think. If only it was also in English UK and not just English US. Still enjoying the game though
Fun, nice to pick up and play, not too many adverts which I hope never changes.
I found by playing the unlimited. I've got better with all the different game. It's a great game hours of fun.
The game closes down as soon as I try to play! So frustrating. I get the first table up with the first letter but when I try to put in a word it closes down! I actually gave it 0 stars, not 1.
Way too much ads. So annoying cause you can hardly see the letters. So uninstall right away.
first attempt at playing failed as it force closes every time it starts. Second attempt, force close..third...fourth...all the same...
Was really enjoying it. But google ads are now blocking half the keyboard and the same word is being used twice in a row even after the new update
Great game! Challenging and it exercises your mind. Satisfying when you win at any age you might be, as long as you can spell...
I would have given this app a 5 star but, it allows you to put in words that don't even exist in the dictionary. That all I have to complain about but none the less it is a very good game
Play this every day but I think there should be a bigger vocabulary as many of the words tend to repeat.
It's a kool app easy to use. Just wish they would move that ad that's blocking the bottom part of the keyboard
They place an ad bar literally over the last row of letters, making this completely unplayable.
Out of all of the Lingo Android apps, I prefer this one. It may not have the collection mechanic of that other one, but it lets you sign in with Google, and it lets you pay once to permanently remove ads. However, I can't give it full stars because it has a bug where if you use the pause feature or minimize the game, the timer clock often gets messed up to the point where it runs two clocks, and the one that expires first loses you a life, and the other partially expired timer carries over.
