Great app, but a bug is showing up and app is also missing what feels like some basic functionality (like when i click on a tag displayed in link list, system should redirect user to a listing of all links with that tag. I'm on a late model Samsung phone, running android 9 and keep getting an error message that says, "network connection is not active" while it actually is. WiFi and data connection are both strong so error is not correct.
Easily one of the best bookmarking apps in the playstore. I wanted a visual bookmarking app but the few I found either had few options or charged for any useful options. This one has almost everything. Only thing I would add is the ability to add thumbnails to the links or hyperlinks to images so you know exactly what app the link is for.....but that's splitting hairs. Great jobs guys!
Bought a new phone and the app made the jump but the exported URL file didn't. Used another app "Send Anything" to do the trick. It occurred to me later that "nearby share" might have done it, but I panicked and completely forgot about that. But THIS outstanding app is now back in business!
This works. The only issue I have is the .html is stored where only this app can find & view it. No option to export the .html, only option to export only the URLs collected, as text file.
It's great to see a new real later app for Android, as Pocket and Instapaper are stagnating. If you could add pagination, highlights (and export), progress bar and a Chrome extension, you could easily overtake them. I look forward to seeing how it develops.
Best of the URL saving apps I tested. Hoping for folder/group sorting in home screen eventually but the first thing this urgently needs is the ability to filter by multiple tags - if this app can get that feature, it's almost perfect for my need.
Great app but would be better if you could edit the bookmarks after creating so as to rename, add notes, etc. Would also be nice if, when exporting (for backup purposes) that the tagging was included as currently need to re-tag imports.
Hm the UI is great and I generally like the app BUT... The app messes up my links. I save a link for, for example, a recipe for a chocolate cake, and then few days later when I need the recipe, I go in and it leads me to something else also saved. Engl is not my first language so I don't know how to better explain it
Bug - Dark theme is always enabled on launch even when it has previously been switched off. EDIT: Sometimes even Google apps say my device has dark theme enabled, but my device has no such option. I recommend that you consider ignoring the device level dark theme option for some or all devices.
A long felt need of web users coming true. Simplicity and effectiveness is the key. Users don't like elaborate complicated Apps to serve a simple purpose. This App is just perfect!
Needs better import export options like Html. Dropbox sync support would be perfect. And how about wifi server built in so user can view links, along with the ability to import and merge html bookmarks
As i dont post reviews, i felt compelled to for this very simple bkmrk mngr as it is perfect for someone who owns a nice 10" kindle that most definitely has its intentional limitations. i.e. locking down the homescreen so you can only save certain apps on, etc... Anyhow, as i downloaded n installed 300 bkmrk apps, in which each one had an annoying feature that would not work on the kindle, i found this app. And tho its plain vanilla at best, its the best vanilla icecream i have ever had, ty dev
Just what I wanted. Simple interface, ease to use. Does everything I want. Backup and restore as well in included.
Really good way to quicksave things to your phone for later use. Just click the share icon and share it with this app. Later you can go to the app and recover the url to do what ever with it. Sweet.
Doesn't save data as HTML, or import them if in HTML either, like all other apps. Had to convert from HTML to txt. Disappointed anyway as it removed my categorization.
This is one of the best apps in the history of apps!! Damn useful, leaving only a teensy footprint. You can tell the developers keep their users at the top of their priorities. I've loved this app since i first installed it, and this last update has made this an A-List app! Thanks SO much, Linkaive!😍
Shortcomings: 1. Cannot search by multiple tags. 2. Doesn't save main parts of articles for offline viewing. Nice compact app for organizing saved links.
I have tried many apps in this category. Linkaive is easily the best for newer versions of android. I had used save it on older android versions and it was good. However fizzles out when compared to linkaive. Im therefore giving a 5 star.
This perfect app does exactly what it's meant to and always has my back. It's holding I dont know how many web pages for me... A lot! And counting. I love it!!! Thanks for this little gem.
Nice concept and app but I would be a fan(5 star) if the dark theme were not so broken and texts were not overlapping each other. Ok I love this app but for now it's just a 3 or 4 starerrer.
Promising. Dissaponted you can't save to, or create categories. Favicons or thumbnails for each saved link would be good..
Excellent - Simple to use, no unnecessary frills. The inhouse browser streamlines the whole process.
I love the tag concept particularly. Dev pls do include the following in next update and your work will be exceptional. 1.Option to edit saved links. 2.Option to edit tags. 3.Backup to local files should include tags.
Please add feature that allow export and import by default file manager like modern apps, I don't often allow apps to access my internal storages
Using the tags to easily find links is great,But still adding the folder view would be appreciated as i ve got alot of links making the app look clumsy...And Btw You ve nailed the Thumbail preview of links
Downloaded the app today .. was so happy, looked good .. imported all my bookmarks, but suddenly became buggy, unstable, flickering .. had to immediately uninstall ;-(
I Have Never Had An App That Deletes EVERYTHING You've Done When Taken Off Home Screen. That Is Until Now. Did I Miss The Fine Print That Said It Would Do This? I Absolutely Loved This App Until That Happened...
the best app ever made to save links. pocket app is so worse, but loved this app. Thank you for making this happen. keep doing your great work.
Very useful, works as expected. Helping me create my personal archive. Simple UI.
Perfect for saving links and organizing various content into categories!! Very easy to use!! Thank you for such a great app. However some deleted links tend to reappear again after a few seconds, so you can't really delete them - it's quite annoying... Could you please look into it? :) There are also some websites that either can't be saved at all on the app, such as Slate.fr, which is a pity. Also, maybe an "unclassified" (?) category could be useful in case we forget to tag a link.
