I'll echo many other reviews: The app used to work. It was slow, but it allowed you to search availability, put titles on hold, and renew items. But then a year or so ago, it just stopped. It doesn't matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall, at best it does nothing and at worst it gives me a meaningless processing error.
This app is dated and slow, and offers no notifications when books are coming due, or holds have been put aside for you. Linkcat has been redone, it's time for this to be updated and sped up as well. It is a lot faster to do anything on my phone relating to the library using Chrome, even though I have to keep telling it to *not* go to the mobile website/app.
Frustrated! The app works properly but the extremely light grey font color used to list book titles on my account are impossible to see on a phone! I have been hoping that the developer has received enough complaints to correct this and make this app more user friendly. For now I must log onto my laptop to view book titles I have on hold and have checked out.
I love having my account easy to access so I can renew items quickly. I would like to see filters added to the search functionality (i.e. be able to search for a specific format). Notifications for renewal would be cool too, but I'll rely on the emails for now.
This used to be one of my most used apps, since the recent update it is almost useless. Doesn't show my books or holds, doesn't return search results. It was always slow, but at least it worked before. Here's hoping they fix it up.
On the one hand, the app technically works. You can search for and request materials from the library, renew materials and keep a list of things you want to request in the future. That said, the app is frustratingly slow and not very intuitive.
App used to be great but since the update, nothing loads properly. It shows that I have books checked out but I can't view them. When I search for a book I always get "no results found" but when I search online I will get results.
Since the recent update nothing works properly. You have to log out, then back in every time you access app and even then not all pages load properly. I have tried everything including factory reset in the app as directed and reinstalling the app completely.
Very slow! Please update! Also, would it be possible to add the ability to check the items you'd like to renew all at once rather than renewing one item at a time.
I always LOVED how accessible this app was and now, since this update December 2019 I can not go into my list, see what is do, make holds...it is quite frusterating!! I do not know what was changed, but it messed with the app considerably.
This app used to work great, but it doesn't anymore. Keeps showing error messages when trying to do anything. Doesn't let me renew books like it used to.
Low quality app. Not very helpful or dynamic from the design all the way to the font/layout. Needs a complete redesign. Uninstalled.
Since update awful!!!!! I have been using this ap for YEARS and loved it no issues. It used to be so simple and user friendly. They recently had an update and now this ap never works!!! Please fix this -very frustrated bookworm-
I agree with Teresa Blackburn's 5/18/19 comment about the light grey font color. It is extremely difficult to read. Options should be provided for more readable font colors.
I love libraries and it's a shame they're stuck with garbage software like this. Excruciatingly slow. Bad at searching. Glitchy.
Since Linkcat updated in Dec. 2019 I can't manage my account at all. Can't create a hold, can't check due dates, can't renew my checkouts. Please fix this ASAP!
I can't log in and the app is much slower than the website for searching, etc. I'm using the website, instead.
Very very slow. With latest linkcat updates the mobile app doesn't work at all any longer.
Since the upgrade I cannot get Linkcat to work on my phone at all. It used to be such a good product, but I am very disappointed.
Doesn't work "error processing " after a recent update. Tried reinstalling, but didn't help
Pages don't load. Says I have a hold but I can't see what the hold is. Can't see my list either.

Since last time i used it (Feb 2020) returns message with a PARSE ERROR when ever i try to use it.
Interface is very non intuitive.
Used to work, now has logged me out and won't let me log back in. Just takes me back to the first page when I try.

Unreliable app. When it works, it's mostly functional (slow, but that's ok), but it just sometimes... doesn't work. For the last week-plus, I've been getting an "error processing" message when I attempt to log in. There's no "report this bug" button to go along with the error message, no further information. I'm fortunate enough to have access to a computer to use the desktop version, but not everyone does. I adore my local library and our larger regional consortium, but this app? Ugh.
