I like the app but I think it's missing a "order posts chronologically" option. Most of all, the latest version of the app doesn't work for me. I receive push notifications but I can't do anything within the app. It always says "we couldn't connect with LinkedIn". No feed, no messages, no network, nothing... Connexion issues everywhere. However, the fix for me was to downgrade the app, and then everything worked again. No idea what happened, since no one else complained about it in the reviews. But if you have the same problem, here's my fix.

I use the app for sharing photos at client events, didn't have any problems in the past but over the last year, whenever I try and upload a photo to one of the pages I manage, I get an error message saying "upload failed", no hints as to why, and my colleagues have no problem. I have to email the pics to myself, log onto a PC and post from there. Really unhelpful when trying to run events and work on the fly. No idea what's wrong, app is up to date and noone I work with has had the same.

Why so many notifications?! I used to only get notifications when there was actually something to check, for example someone viewing my profile or sending me a message. Lately I get notifications for just about everything, for example a post I "might" be interested in, my daily rundown, or someone commenting on a post I haven't even interacted with - isn't this what the newsfeed is for? This is really unhelpful and happens several times a day. I have no choice but to turn off notifications

The messaging section of the app needs improvement. If I and a connection of mine were to send messages to each other simultaneously, like an Instant Messaging app, the app would just slow down and the message would be sent after a few seconds. I'm aware that this app is not expected to perform like an Instant messaging app; but it would be great if it performed like one so that the delays could be avoided.

Great app. Suggestion: Under the jobs tab, it would be great if there was a language translator. If I search for jobs abroad, they are often in the countries home language but they accept applications from English speakers. It's incredibly frustrating because I can't read the application unless I go through the browser and relay on Google Translate. Might be worth exploring this as a feature.

More bugs than a cheap motel. I've been an avid user of LinkedIn for years. I keep avoiding the app because 1.) It's always been a data hog 2.) 9 outta 10 times it has a glitch of some sort. I just DL'd it today hoping it was better. Nope! The prompt came up for dark mode. I closed it. I don't want dark mode. The app went into dark mode anyway. I'm trying to access the settings to turn off auto-play (data hog) but it's a blank screen. Literally nothing there. I'll stick with the website. 🙄

This app works well, just like the website, but more convenient because we can access it from anywhere and network on the go! I haven't experienced any problems with it at all. Free app with no ads (besides the occasional sponsored post, etc, that you would have gotten on the website anyway.) LinkedIn is an essential networking tool for the serious business person, and especially for freelancers like myself! Notifications can be annoying, but are easily turned off / reduced in the settings. 👍

It's made with such an annoying algorithm that when I instantly switch to the My Network column, I'm shown with people to be connected to, but as soon as I touch their profiles, the column itself gets refreshed and new people are shown in the same spot, and my finger touches the Connect button in an instant. Why? Because the page gets shifted a little upwards, making the position of the Connect button a little upwards. This way, you can get connected with people you didn't want to. Annoyance!!

In the last week, the app has been kicking me off every few hours. I uninstall it, restart my phone and install it again and yet, the same thing happens - the app will not allow me to sign in. It says "unknown error. Please try again". If you do business on LinkedIn and use this app for convenience, while traveling, etc, I would be cautious and have a good back up plan in place. The app has become unreliable and unstable. I wish they could resolve this issue.

Fails to access app when reading emails. Recently the app has not been as good as in the past. It looks Cvs up when I receive an email from LinkedIn. When I tap on the link it says I should "use the LinkedIn app." Then tries to load LinkedIn as if it's brand new. Very frustrating. Even after reloading it fails to recognize that it's loaded. Tried erasing and reloading but doesn't fix the problem. Gotta fix this!!!

Unfortunately, app is not working properly for posting content and managing a business page. If you're just checking updates and exploring content there, all good. But posting is as inconsistent as it can be. With videos, images, both... and even with texts/links only. Hope it gets fixed soon. (And yes, my app is up to date)

LinkedIn makes working with your settings very difficult. The app is not intuitive at all. This app is almost as bad as the desktop version. I also noticed that the app and desktop versions don't sync up. My profile picture and experiences are different on the app and desktop versions. Very disorganized and not clean.

My review is not for the app as I find no particular problem with it. The problem is the website; typo errors: font types go blur at an 80% page view & there's no support button. The app has no support button either, there's no better way to exclude your customers. Don't tell me it's too small, other pages display perfectly, plus I'll like to go smaller.

The app is fantastic. It allows me to easily interact with people around the globe. It presents opportunities of vast job opportunities globally. Learning from success stories of others inspires and motives one to strive for better every time. Facilities to upgrade and review process , resumes are available for the benefit of users. The app allows for social networking and researching to sharpen skills.

This application cannot be relied. When posting the application always goes to "media uploading or queueing" and post content disappears completely. Yes, posted this issue already to LinkedIn without any decent response two years ago at the first time (does it in different devices). So my advice is that always write the posts to some other reliable application and copy paste the content to the post, so you don't need to rewrite your posts.

Good app but it is better on a computer. I have no idea how it may have worked on my old Note 5 that I was using until 2020. We also lived in a very rural area in the mountains where just keeping the electricity on and navigating through downed trees (and power poles) could be a challenge. So far where I currently live this works well (until the power is out).

The problem is, it is very difficult to go back from a post to the feed page (first page when we open LinkedIn) for the users like me who are all using navigation gestures in mobile phones. When I click a post say for example a photo, and I tried to go back by swiping for the side edges, the app was trying to show the next pic of the post, which was not there.

Bad almost, I was usually facing the problem when I tries to apply a job. Shows blank column and untochable submit option. Another problem I faced is connection error. I couldn't connect or apply for connect people. I did all kind of reparing work by deleting the app and all. But the result is zero. Another problem is no option to know is it was applied previously or not.. Good app to see and bad app to use ever

The app does register how long you have been with a company accurately. However, if you move around in the company, Promotion, position etc it records that position only. It really needs looking at to retain the high standards of professionalism.

Patchy experience! I can be seamless and other times it can't open posts, chat or add attachments. Recently, the app just keeps crashing. Pretty disappointing for such a major app.

There's no requirement for employers to be accurate so you get TONS of "entry level" roles with 8+ years experience required, or jobs that are "remote" then clearly not fully remote when you read into it even though there's a hybrid flag. No requirement for honesty or accuracy, no way to report; linkedin standards and quality are very low and make job searching a waste of time and energy. Last straw was removing the filter for when a job was posted (eg last 24hrs) so I recommend on indeed now!

It isn't working properly. It keeps saying LinkedIn has stopped working. I am fed up by now. I have even given a feedback as well. Still it keeps showing the notification of stopped working. Please look into it and resolve as soon as possible because it keeps bugging me whole day and its been happening since past 3 days and i can't do other things on my phn because of it

No matter what you do. You can't post on the app or from a phone period. Why build an app and you can't post from. "Unable to post at this time, please try again." This has to be the most ridiculous firewall the Dev team has placed on this app, and ducky stamped by the CIO or CTO. This firewall you put in place prevents the usage of "Posting" on the app from any mobile device, but you can post jobs? 5/18: This is Facebook for Professionals that all. Huge waste of time using this app.

I just HATE it when they restrict my account for no reason at all. I recently joined a prestigious institution and that has prompted a lot of connection requests and profile views. They restricted my account for "unusual activity" 3 times in 1 week. When I contacted support instead of fixing this they said if it happens again they'll suspend my account permanently.How am I supposed to connect to people if they keep restricting I'm unable to accept more than 10requests a day cause of this.

The job search part of you app needs work it's so annoying that you are only able to search main centers for work, and if you're not looking in those places you have to waste time going through jobs in every town/city and you're constantly receiving emails "30 jobs for you to apply for" and none of them are in main centers.

I am rating 2 stars just for the non-seamless experience between desktop and app experience. For one, you can't create an article via the app. I had to go right round the bush to force open linkedIn in my mobile browser and then type. And why do you force us to create a post immediately after publishing an article? If I discard I have no clue if the article has been published or remains a draft.

I happy with all the features of app. But i have some suggestions. Can you add any feature for categories our chat sothat we can store them in a more useful manner. Currently our message field contain all messages in a single place that's makes it difficult for searching the important one. I will be more than happy if this feature is introduced. Honestly speaking linked in has one of the most experienced and talented developers, Who have created such a nice bug. It's a bug not an app. Like the messages section never works properly and the whole ui is really clumsy.
