if the job application is setup for linkedin job search apply feature its awesome. if not, it is just a way to sort to employer websites all of which have different formats which takes too much time to fill in what is already on on your resume. Businesses if you want top notch ppl to apply from this site setup the easy apply link otherwise you have ppl put your posting to the bottom of the list for later which does not happen.
Used to be good. Now, can't search for anything. Nothing pops-up. No keyword works in the search field. If this is a phase, may it be remedied, if not let us know that this app is no longer supported since the last update seems to have been 2 years ago.
3 months later, the biggest flaw remains present and that is that the job search function yields results that are often on the other side of the world even though you confirm that the search proximity is within 10 klms , or 15 klms, or even 50klms distance ! This renders the purpose of the app as being completely useless! There are plenty of better alternatives to this app. Stay away from this one.
App used to be good, but now it doesn't function as it used to. I recieved push notifications saying there are job recommendations but once I enter the app, I says I need to complete my profile by adding work exp and skills. However my LinkedIn profile is already up to date. I'm having to resort to using the website instead.
this app is useful to check job openings on the go. It might OK to apply for jobs through it. but the problem is that it does not connect to the main app or to the website. Jobs I have saved or applied does not show here. Jobs that I saved but already expired, I can't delete.
I re-found this app and it's made a huge difference in my career! This so is helpful to make connections and networking with people all over the world. People in all work fields can use this application! Join now, if you've already made a profile, go back and update, you're going to enjoy if you are still working. Many retired people join as mentor and helpful insight to all job series. Many are very helpful in explaining and expanding on many issues and posts. Try it, you'll like it!
furious!!! just spent 2 hours typing a difficulty formatted job application, right at the end. the app decided it had been running too long. so asked me to sign in again. (no my device wasnt idle either) completely wiped my application progress. the jobs advertised are of good quality, however there are quite a few "pay to learn /gain qualifications" advertised as actual job vacancies.
Notifications were really annoying since it would say there are "new" jobs every day but it was always the same 5 jobs for months. No way to give feedback on the fact that they were all irrelevant to me like you can in browser. Only ever saw one posting for the job I was looking for. Pretty worthless app.
There is a lot of committee to this app and it's been helpful. But would like to share my view point. 1. Please add experience in terms of years or months as a filter. Since when I filter with respect to associate or/and entry level there are many job posts displaying for more experienced people 2. Could you add an option for LinkedIn premium membership for students like me through college verification instead of credit/debit cards 3. I'm unable to reach 27x after adding job experience
Garbage. Got a notification I should apply for a position at a company. When I clicked the link it took me to a job search with 9 results. None were for the company or position used as click baited to get me to open the app. Newest job posting in the search results was a week old. Went to settings and gave the app one star. It wouldn't push my review to Google Play.
Failure messages when I try to do anything with this app. The main app is better. This app gives LinkedIn a bad rep. Being the industry leaders you would think they would have a superior app, but glassdoor and indeed are better options because they actually work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no change.
I like the app but it will only give me results from all over the county and not locally. I've gone in to filters to try and correct this as it has a distance filter but it does not work.
The worst job app in the world. They just work as an aggregator of jobs. The search engine throws up absolutely unconnected jobs...no relation to the role I'm searching for and also the nbr of years of experience does not match. And the apply button takes you to various recruiter websites where you need to fill all your details and register. When you have all the details in my LinkedIn profile why don't you make it an easy one click application for us. Absolutely disappointed! Waste of time.
I like staying connected with contacts and friends. The courses and training and tips to stay current are helpful. The support staff offer enhancements and recommendations when requested. This app is helpful to my life.
You guys need to make this easier and not so hard. I can't just post a resume on my profile. I have to enter everything by hand. Plus the app acts like a computer browser. I can't see everything like messager and I can't zoom in or out.
excellent , useful and insightful. Up to date with the goings on in the job market. Excellent networking. Anticipate better and meets my needs squarely. Very oderly and clear presentation. Good job.
The job search/site is easy to use, user friendly, very helpful and gives you insight. Encourages personal/professional development choices. Jobs are tailored to your interest and requirements. However would really love to see salary scales for the jobs. InApply option great seamless. Would love to see more jobs with InApply.
This app needs serious bug squashing. Whenever I get a notification in the status bar, I click the message and the app is showing an error. This is consistent.
Missed a job posting because it showed up on LI 21 days after the posting expired. Found this to be rhe case more than once. I'll also get notifications that there jobs but then the app either doesn't show them all or says there are none.
The app is very impressive. It gives you the option to quickly and easily apply for jobs without the red tape and all the hoops that most apps sites put you through. Let's face it, sometimes it's a numbers game; there's so much competition out there applying for jobs that you need the ability to quickly apply by Responding to specified alerts pe things to idea throughout your day from a trusted source. Linked in is 100% better since micro soft acquired it and invested the capital sourcing it.
