Great courses, terrible app. After downloading a video for some reason it still buffers and crashes the app despite being saved on my device. Looks like the developers aren't responsive and don't care about this app
I love the app my only problem that frustrated me and still does is when I download course for offline viewing it just plays a few secs to a minute or so then it just stops please LinkedIn fix this or is downloading videos for offline limited and what is the max becauae im using mobile Android...... Other then that I love the courses available......
Great content, but when casting to a device the stream drops when a) your phone's lock screen kicks in and/or b) when you minimise the app. Makes it unusable on a mobile device for team sessions, and flawed for a corporate video platform.
This is a hub of all the required learnings for a corporate employee. It not only includes the corporate skill related courses but also the skills of personal development. One may find many advance courses for which it might have cost more anywhere else but luckily it's all accessible here in just a single subscription. Improvement Points: 1.There should be value like diplomas for some of the courses even by paying some extra cost. 2. It may tie-up with some recognised university.
I am enjoying having all this knowledge at my finger tips. Love the option to have audio only if I want to just hear the lectures. Haven't experienced any crashes, so far, and all works well! Thank you LinkedIn Learning!
The quality of the courses just can't be beaten, its worth the monthly fee. and it's all recognised globally that's to the calibre of people running the courses, both short and long. There is simply no price on learning.
Could be better it's hard to find lessons you want or need when you search it shows a lot of different lessons. There no clear path or order to it. And I also don't like that it's all videos, I like learning from reading and seeing examples and not having to stop the video to input the code on my PC, it also doesn't have a place to code mobile or PC verisons. But alot of videos covering alot of different topics. Also their certificate s only gets school credit from big name colleges outside usa
I mostly enjoy using the app, but there is a glaring issue. The user experience needs better functionality by creating a "begin" or "start" button for courses. There have been many times when I have merely tapped on the picture of a course to view more information, but the tap sets the course to begin. Now the course has begun, is a part of my history, and I get suggestions for more courses like it. A simple button to press when users are actually prepared to begin a course would alleviate this
In browser , LinkedIn learning is very good, but in mobile app I have worst experience. Video buffers frequently, I need to login again and again ,even after login also app won't start . Browser experience is far better than this app . No use of this app! It's completely timewaste.
can you make the screen clear (not dimming) when pausing the video. because sometime user need to pause and the play button comes up, the screen also dimming make it hard to look at the screen clearly.
I have been using LinkedIn Learning for some time now, but very recently it has started to act very strange. I can't hear any audio in any of videos, not sure why. This is happening on Mobile Device.
Overall, good. With offline mode. (never tried streaming). Maybe not enough advance course and too many introduction one. The overlay (with the pause button) remain visible by default everytime a video start. So you need to manually hide it every 3min. This is annoying. Also, the progress of the video is not always well kept. This may be related to the offline mode.
Content-wise the app is just like the web version, but the it is noticeably clunky and needs improvement in terms of user experience. First, I'd like to be able to rotate the orientation of the video without having to change my phone's orientation settings. Quizzes at the end of a chapter just never come up automatically unless I open the quiz section myself, which is quite annoying and makes it disruptive learning experience. Frame rate also drops when I've been watching lectures for a while
I'm trying to sign in with my library login but saying I have no access. But I can sign in on the computer. I thought this would make my life easier but no it won't let me. I just wanted to study. Deleting the app it's useless to me
Some videos are played in horrible resolution, like 120p, and there is no way to choose higher resolution. Edit: the app is horrible overall: slow, buggy, errors popping up, progress is not being saved Edit 2: Changing settings doesn't help. It keeps changing quality every few seconds, dropping it to the lowest most of the time. It is unusable! The app can't perform litterally the only task it is created for - watching video! Are you serious, LinkedIn?
the best platform for skill building. I enjoy the short focused courses and the option to dig deeper by following the learning paths. the paths take the guessing of the progression of the courses
The learning resources are extremely valuable, but they have some problems with syncing and downloading the certificate after completing the course. Please, LinkedIn fix this, and then I’ll give you 5 stars.
Latest update is not working. After installing updates, upon opening the app will ask to update again. So its an endless loop even after restarting the phone. Please advise. Thanks
works well for listening on the go. pre download is great feature to play when no internet connection.
LinkedIn Learning is a great platform to gain additional skills and knowledge from experienced individuals and covers a wide variety of topics. The functionality of the app is impressive, for e.g you are able to toggle "Audio Only" mode when learning a course thereby saving data whilst you learn for causes that don't really require you to watch. Certificates of completion are provided for courses and you are able to link the completed course to your profile.
This app is terrible when it comes to completed lectures. If you completed a lecture and exit the course then when you come back it'll play the same lecture that has been completed even though it had a green tick against it. If you watch a course in full screen (landscape) on the mobile app, Android 12 in my case, when you get to a quiz if you rotate the phone portrait the last lecture before the quiz starts again even though you've completed it. Customer support only accepts screenshots.
Videos buffer all the time. I have perfect internet speed and all of my other apps work perfectly fine. But this app buffers all the time which is very annoying.I close the app everytime it buffers and switch to my laptop. Then what is the point of having this app. Isn't this app to make your use easy or to add extra work? Please fix this. I'll change my rating after the fix.
Upon course course completion my certificate is still blocked. Whereas this was a free course, I finished it and it shows completed.
Learning app continuously says to update even already updated in PlayStore. Thereafter, after updating, and reopening, it closes over and over again. Can't open the app. Please do something about it.
After this recent update videos have started hanging a lot. Loading circle keeps appearing and video doesn't move further. 04 March 2022: subscription amount deducted today, two days before it is due for renewal. Why is that?
It's not allowing me to login with my library card. It goes to a frozen screen without any links. Annoying
Works for the happy online case, but not offline. Was able to download a course over cellular data, but then it would never play. It would play and then immediately pause. The audio only trigger in the video triggers a loading icon over the video. But doesn't actually do anything else from what I can tell. Quite often when watching videos the sound doesn't seem to line up with the people's mouth movements.
