The app fails to login, comes up with an error message saying "No internet connection" even though wifi and cellular are connected and everything else works fine.

Installed on 2/1/20. Shows the last app update by the company was in 2016. This app fails to let you login. It seems this app no longer exists. It should be removed from the app store.

Bring back the old news reader please before LinkedIn got involved. It's a tsunami of bore and over presumptive curated articles akin to seeing an ill-fated friend that was so full of life and eclectic in a vegetative state with a feeding tubes and diapers.

I was looking for a good app that can aggruegate good editorial and factual articles from best of sources at one place for me. Pulse does exactly that. Moreover, the app is nicely built, hardly ever crashed, and contains up to date articles. Must have for frequent readers. I request to add magazines genre instead of a few names... like automobiles, technology, economics, engineering, arts .. etc. That would be more helpful.

The original Pulse app used to be my favorite app for keeping up with the news of my favorite categories. Its grid layout was great and had a lot to offer. It's been crap ever since LinkedIn stepped in though.. not using it anymore.

Although I do enjoy the app, I am extremely disappointed that it is nothing but American news. It would be great if this app had a region selector so that myself and others could filter the news that is more pertinent towards either Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe and so forth.

I used the legacy version daily. It was the first app I installed on all new mobile devices. The new interface is confusing and clunky. There isn't even a dark mode. I gave it about 3 to 4 weeks then stopped using it. The old interface is far superior. The negative user reviews pretty much tell the story. I will continue to use the legacy version until it stops updating. Then I will no longer be a Pulse user. It's very sad to see LinkedIn step in and ruin a great app with a loyal following.

This "are you a robot?" check is ridiculous. I've wasted my time on numerous occasions trying to sign back into the app and over and over it asks me to "select all pictures with a sign post" and it never ends. I'm throwing in the towel for now and finding a new app. Hope this gets fixed. Bring back the old version!!

LinkedIn truly did an amazing job at transforming a fantastic app into absolute garbage - well done! I realize that my opinion (and apparently that of many others) will in no way affect your decision to stick with this horrific business model. Still, here I am, for the record, yet another person pointing out that you've completely missed the mark. The original Pulse app used to be just the best - then you, LinkedIn, took over...and you changed it...and you ruined it...and here we are. Such a bummer.

LinkedIn crap app This app used to be great but when LinkedIn took over they made it worse. Bring back our app. I used to the news that I wanted to see now you have to register first. For what? So they can sell my personal info or mistreat it? No way. Keep your new app. I will check Flipboard, if it's no good too I will find another app. But you won't get my vote. Bye. Stupid LinkedIn.

I've always being fond of LinkedIn Pulse when I use it on my laptop. And now, to use it on the go is just icing on the cake. It's enriched links to thousands and millions of editorial articles/ latest news on every domain is quite refreshing and helps you stay on top of things. Keep it up!!

I'm just saying what I think. Right before LinkedIn purchased Pulse, this app was at it's best form with room to grow. LinkedIn did a smart thing and then an horrendous thing for app development by making a good business deal and then ruining a perfectly good aggregation app. Right NOW in 2017, this app can regain rule in its category IF some time is seriously spent evaluating user input (LinkedIn are you even noticing how many legacy users are STILL pining for you to bring something AS GOOD as the original app back? Even though we don't like or use this current app?) and the reasons that made Pulse work so well with everything before its time. ...Making the LinkedIn account an optional requirement (I didn't say you couldn't make it a little more enticing with nice LinkedIn-features) would be a good start.

Now I remembered why I uninstalled it. The 'please check your connection and try again' bug is still there for android. LinkedIn's Dev team leaves much to be desired. Makes me worried about R3 Corda the team can't even fix simple login errors.

I have been using pulse for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it! It's easy to save the articles you want and it comes in handy when wanting to conduct small talk as you are well informed about current events in your field and in fields that interest you.

This app been teaching me all the things I need to know. With this app I could be able to study reading and writing. Now I have three certificates, a product and a company. Keep on the good job guys.

App is good for flicking through relative news stories. There are areas it can improve but the integration with linked in and the save article feature are something I find very useful.

Pulse aggregates industry-specific news and makes it easy to share and discuss this in your professional network. It is also a powerful publishing platform for reaching your industry. (The publishing application is not its best feature yet, but this is not included in the mobile app.)

Gives me my daily dosage of some very interesting news, information and perspectives of my favorite business and general topics.

Since LinkedIn took over this apps, it become useless. It was the best apps for news but now it is a piece of junk.

I look forward to reading the LinkedIn Pulse articles every morning using this app. VERY disappointed to see that it's going away after May 31st.

Good for picking up on business & research related issues. Editorial is a bit too US oriented though. Be nice to see more UK &EU content

Kau. R. Jan 23, 2017

The UI is amazing and articles are also engaging, so definitely a go to app. Only if it could be customised by the groups or interests the content consumption will increase.

Eri. J. Jan 9, 2017

Love most of the articles. Some are lacking in depth, though, and feed often runs short in favor of ads to link to feeds I am not sure I care about.

Com. R. Aug 10, 2016

Pulse actually highlights the real driving forces behind the world we live in which are predominantly economic. Very little fluff or political content.
