I've used this device for almost eight years now. I've seen huge improvements over the years and I'm happy to say the app is very responsive as before it took a few tries for the tap to turn on and off. Now it works straight away. The functionality and UI is very easy to use. I know I ran into some problems a few years back and you've been very responsive. I'm very happy with your product and I'll be buying another tap soon after new years

The app is powerful and versatile and seems very intuitive... I'm surprised that some reviewers of the hardware say otherwise. The only glitch I've encountered is the app occasionally complains it has no internet connection - closing and restarting seems to fix it. Minus a star for that.

Great features and flexible scheduling options. Just please change the weather data provider (Dark Sky) as it is nowhere near accurate for my local area. Temperatures are always 5 to 10 degrees off and conditions are also always way off. Please consider changing to a real weather data provider like National Weather Service or Weather Underground.

It's a decent app that has everything you need. There's an annoying niggle that if you temporarily lose your WiFi or phone signal whilst the app is open, you have to restart the app because it says 'Internet connection lost' even though the phone clearly has Internet in other apps. The ui for setting up watering could do with a re-think. It would be better to select one or more times, then choose repeat internal. Rain skip on each timing cycle, rather than per linktap, would be better.

App is reasonably functional and stable, but it's not well organized and is missing essential features. Two *HUGE* oversights (and the reason for docking stars) are the total lack of a simple on/off or start/stop flow button in the app which is very annoying if say you have a leak, but the water cycle has started..... no way to stop. Huge mess. Fatal flaw. Other issue is only being able to water by minute intervals. Seconds are absolutely necessary. A full minute floods some gardens.

They changed nthe notification sound. It used to be a relatively innocuous bubbling sound, and it was always obvious what it was. Recently the sound changed to a loud obnoxious beep that sounds like something is seriously wrong with my phone. It took me a few days to figure out where the sound was even coming from. Please change the sound back, or give us the option to choose our own.

App works well, but not over intuitive. As a possible fault I've noticed I'm not always receiving notifications from the app to confirm the watering has started and stopped. Works with instant watering but not timed watering. Using pixel 2 and latest version of Android 10 and security update. Have checked in the system notifications and all are on, so not certain why this is occurring. Otherwise great system and hugely valued.

Like the product, but hate the app. It's not intuitive, and if you don't use it for a while after figuring out how to program it, you have to re-learn the app again. Make it easier to get to the "work mode". Just tap on a device and either start watering or program watering is all that's needed here. Also, it would be nice to be able to suspend or turn off a program for the winter. If there is a way, I couldn't figure it out. Also, I regularly get connection errors.

This review is for the app as opposed to the physical unit which appears to be very good. Apparently not designed for UK market, despite an option for £s, owing to choice of litres or US gallons. Imperial gallons are not catered for. App seems a little temperamental in that it keeps needing to restart and attempts to give feedback keeps crashing it.

Product is good, but the app is not user friendly, especially instant mode, why on/off toggle required on that UI? What's the difference between duration and valve on, there is valve off field which increases confusion. There is lot of scope of user experience improvement.

As advertised, brilliant. Installed a diy irrigation system, then connected two LinkTap units front & back yard. I have the greenest, best looking grass on the block. Will connect another unit to a rain barrel for veggie garden. App is not fancy, very easy with a variety of customizable schedules. Or you can control it manually. I even used it to get a dog off the grass while at work (the dog set off motion detection on floodlight cam). The company stands by their product too.

Excellent app. Does have a learning curve, but once you figure it out it becomes easy to use. Any problems contact Link Tap support, they are very helpful and quick to respond.

Does what it needs to. Simple and effective. If you follow their instructions on their website you can add simple voice control through Google and Alexa for start and end commands.

Quick, seamless set up and great hardware. Yes, the app could do with polishing however it works and works reliably.

Amazing product and app. Works perfectly hundreds of metres away and through 4 layers of brick walls. Only issue is why didn't I develop this product.

Very good & useful app. It reminds me to water my garden. It also records & tell me when I've turned on the watering tap.

Please add an easy way to turn it on for 5 minutes without messing up the timer. I would recommend linktap.

Just got it today. Tested it out and seems to work like a marvel. Happy plants will get watered when I'm on vacay.

Why do I need to create an account to use my bloody tap? Your app should discover my devices without me having to manually enter codes. Using qr codes on devices that reside outside is a lousy choice.
