It does what it does, not more, not less. But I am still waiting for the feature to favorite news that I want to read later on. EDIT : the feature works perfectly fine, just having the icon all on the bottom right is painful for my fat thumb. I don't know how to solve this ... otherwise the new Interface looks good as well, points for that.
I'd like it a lot more if it: 1) didn't have ads, 2) had a way to filter out content I don't care about--like anything related to Windows, and, 3) got rid of its horizontal scrolling--a sidebar of sites would be much easier to use. I'd be happy to pay for the app in order to lose the ads; why not have an ad-free option?
Love the aggregation of Linux news...hate the implementation. Not able to change much in settings. Not able to to eliminate useless feeds. No way to mark all read. In app browser is lacking. The implementation of monetization ads is horrible...try to hit the back button and it take you to the advertised site or app. One has to hit the X button on the ad to get out of the ad. I want aggregated Linux news...but not this badly
It works amazingly! Ads but it aggregates news for you so it's still amazing.
Update, as of the Sept 8 update it is working again. No longer works on my galaxy tab a, the ads pop up at the bottom but no news, just a spinning icon in the middle of the screen. No tabs work. Tried the usual clear cache tend remove / reinstall. No joy!
excellent aggregator of linux news sources, but man, the ads can be pretty intrusive. Almost deleted this app several times because of it. I'd gladly pay for an ad-free version
Some sites won't open in app but hitting the Globe opens them in the browser. Would be nice to have "Open in browser" option in the main list without having to access the article in the app then hit globe. But I love it. All the Linux & OS news that I want without the noise. Linux should take off as people become more educated about it. MS releasing Edge for Linux will fail but it'll introduce people to Linux.
Simple but does the job. I like it!
App is very wonky about portrait/landscape. I liked the pad version a lot. The cell version, not so much.
Information that's not annoying or expensive. I tried a few other Linux News apps and one compare. This is the best with the most access hands down.
Very very slow to open articles!!! Do something to fix this when you talk tons of innovations and bizarre you can't fix small issues
Great source for Linux news collected from many different sites. Love the list of unread article across all sites, this make it easy for daily updates.
Great little app. Lots of sources. Edit: Intrusive and loud adverts have started appearing, so now uninstalled. .
Good variety of news sources, covers kernel development, patches and security updates, as well as general news.
All in all good Linux content, but found a lot of ads sneaking in. Please devs remove those, I have to decide to uninstall the app.
Some ads can't be closed (no X button) & system back button doesn't close it either. Please fix!
Its all in one linux News app. I have found many articles that I have send to my email to read later.
It is comprehensive and really easy to use. Great add for Linux fan of any level
Great collection of Linux/Open Source informative websites ... A little too many ads ... :)
What a great app with portals to multiple sources what ever your flavor is or area of interest the have it covered
Latest update fixed a few Android 10 bugs, app working much better now.
Always a great read across lots of articles Worth every minute.
I find it very useful. All technology related news in one place.
App stopped working today. Will wait 24 hrs, then uninstall if not fixed.
Broken links and far, far too many ads
sometimes the ads is too sensitive to touch :(
Easy to uase and seems to have almost everything.
Was a good app. Now too many ads,.and now there are video ads. Unacceptable when reading on the bus. Will have to look for alternative sorces for my Linux news. Edit: they were quick replying to my email and very helpful and professional. As for the issue for the video ads, those are Google's fault. Ist out of their control (short of using other ad software).
