Awesome app. Would be great if you allowed us to add notes to our favorite trains. Stored server side and viewable to the developer. Might be beneficial to see customers notes about specific trains. And beneficial for customers to remember specifics about a certain train.
This is the first MTA app that I've ever liked. It's colorful, easy to use, pretty quick, and the information seems to be in the right places. Hope this team can rework some other wonky apps that the MTA has put out.
This app is very accurate! It shows when the next train arrives. An absolute must download for people who wants to travel! Highly recommended!

Whoa! A new design! It's definitely more modern looking and easier to navigate. Hopefully I'll have more feedback when I'm taking the train again. Minor feedback from last version and hopefully doesn't happen with the new one. I always had to set my favorite stations every time the app updated. Quite annoying when I have 6 favorite stations.
Updated app. They destroyed it... all good features gone.....lirr is the absolutely the worst public transportation in the country, if you want to be late every single day...lirr is for you
I used LIRR for the first time and it was terrible until a commuter told me about the app, which made everything easy.
Typical railroad, it only works some of the time. Dont rely on it being accurate or you WILL miss trains.
Installed the app. Used for a while. And twice now it doesn't show the time when the train leaves the station. I update, I reload the app, but no matter it shows a list of trains with no time information.
Really annoying that it's not integrated with MTA etix (which only brings up Metro-North train time...why are these all separate apps??). Also annoying that it won't show all the trains for a particular day; you have to keep tweaking the time just to see what's available.
Maybe when it's complete it will be better; for now, it would be real nice if it could indicate the platform the train is expected on, if not in Penn station, at least the island stations. Of course, I'd be perfectly content with a station schedule in PDF form like they used to have...
Recently this app has been UNRESPONSIVE, so I've had it uninstalled & reinstalled. It still doesn't work. So I've uninstalled for good. This is DISAPPOINTING because the MyMTA app is a horrible CLUNKY alternative. When I want the LIRR schedule, that is ALL that's needed. And now LIRR TrainTime is malfunctioning. Please FIX TrainTime.
experience has been good but as of late i am unable to select a station for the arrival countdown feature. i have multiple android devices and it doesnt display or give option to select station.please fix as i feel it is a valuable tool
I've been using this app for over 2 years and LOVE it so easy to purchase tickets check the train schedule but since about 2 weeks this app is unresponsive doesn't work at all! I keep uninstalling/reinstalling and nothing so frustrating! Please fix it!!! :(
App was ok, but it hasnt displayed the train times in the past 2 weeks. Showing the times is the whole point of the app, so basically, the app doesnt work at all.
Great features, schedule hangs up while loading at the most inconvenient times. I don't believe it has the backup schedule if service is poor. It's a work in progress.
Used this app for long time and gave good review in past but recently it stopped working! Now it just shows blank white screen but advertisements still come thru nicely at bottom of it smh. Don't use this app until they fix it, plenty of other apps to use for train schedule.
The app is very useful especially when you are in a rush or when no one is in the both to purchase a ticket, only issues I have is that I cant purchase an Atlantic ticket on my phone I had to use the machine, thank goodness there was no line.

decent functional app but horrible design. selected stations to search for trips is clunky and the arrival countdown page has a bug for almost a year so i can't select a station.
The app is pretty accurate with timing. However, sometimes the times displayed glitch and show the opposite direction. For example, the New Hyde Park station going to Penn Station sometimes shows the time for Penn Station to New Hyde Park. It's easily fixed by refreshing, but sometimes it doesn't and I need to restart the app. Otherwise, a good app.
