It was nice and then it went wacky. Gives me news alerts for counties when EVERY button is unchecked for every county. It constantly runs in the background unable to close app, on and on. I like WTOP but this app has become a headache. Deleting the app and will stick with the radio.
Provides local and national news. Excellent traffic and weather info and maps. My only ding on the app is that some stories open in a browser for some reason.
Latest update broke the app. I can't open the app because the Facebook login page automatically pops up and when I go to click comfirm or try to X out the pop-up, it just keeps popping back up with the facenlbook login page. It's just a boot cycle loop
Every time I try to do a search, I get the following message: Unfortunately, WTOP has stopped. I closed and opened the app several times, and it continues to happen. And, yes, I have the latest version.
Unable to click on link because it says the app is not intended for use within the European Economic Area. I am right outside of Washington DC. Something is wrong. Not using VPN, just a normal browser. Please fix.
Great source of local, state and national news. Great source for traffic and weather. Con: some articles will only open in browser.
This is my favorite radio station for news, weather, and traffic. Having the app allows me to get more information anytime or catch an article I missed.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! When you launch the app it will open 20+ tabs on your browser for spam. It must have been recently compromised. Pretty sad. I can't trust this app anymore.
It gives me up to date news, weather and traffic. The journalists are humourous and animate well. I'm satisfied with updates on Covid19.
App was working fine, now it shuts down when you try to open an article. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail.
Awesome app. Love it in the morning while getting ready for work--it's my advance notice for traffic & weather. News alerts are great. Don't mind advisement--helpful sometimes!
Today I uninstall this app the app took over the phone and wouldn't even let me make a phone call it kept overtaking any function that I would perform. Not good needed to make emergency call and couldn't do it.
used to be a nice app for DCA local and national news. but of late the site is sparse of any news and it requires going to the hamburger to get articles of local, national, or world. go back to older format.
As described sounded like an awesome app but in the month I've had it it won't update the traffic report and I'm still getting the same traffic report from weeks ago. nothing seems to fix it so screw it
Good performance for weather (some others I have tried are painfully slow). Everything I need in one place.
When i connect it via Bluetooth, the app randomly stops while listening and i have to restart or play it again.
It's been working ok but lately I have not been receiving any notifications. And any updates on it. Can this be check out to see if it on my end 🤔 with my phone
It is my first go to station for news, weather, and travel. Can't go with out.
Great way to stay updated on National and local news, traffic and weather throughout the day.
Impossible to sign in, and extremely hard to navigate to what I want to see!
The app needs constant internet connection to continue showing an article. When riding in metro for example, articles will disappear while you are reading them when in tunnels. Also, going 'back' after reading an article takes you back the main search page instead of continuing your selected filter search, filters are lost and have to start over each time. This app could use an overhaul. Other than that, the app appears fine.
