Lister - Shopping List

To the dev team: I have noticed a bug that seems to occur when editing the names of certain items. This deletes the "price history" of that item. In turn, when moving the item to another list, As there is no longer a price history, price is not available in the cloned item. This leads to a lot of unnecessary time re-pricing items. (Giving 1 star as this may make this issue resolved faster, apologies as I like this app so far)

The app is not bad but the app advertises that with the synchronisation, one can keep lists up to date across multiple devices. Unfortunately the app is only available on the Google Play Store so you are limited to Google. There doesn't seem to be PC or iOS support.

The app is good, but the widget experience is sooo limited, please consider adding the following features to the widget: Checkbox/ability to mark as done by clicking on item. Ability to change which list is displayed in the widget. If all the widget does is opening the app whenever I click it, then it's nothing more than a glorified app shortcut.

Easy to use, especially after importing my Out of Milk settings. I really like the Shopping Mode and the ability to sort categories to follow the order of aisles in the store. Would like to see better help info and direct access to master list so as to add items quickly in a batch instead of one at a time.

Have used and loved this app for years. No incident. With new phone, it doesn't seem to perform as well despite using it the same way. When selecting the item (long hold) to check it as purchased, nothing happens. The only option is to modify the item which I don't need to do. Have tried changing the settings of the list, uninstalled and reinstalled wirh same results. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but hoping it's an easy fix. Otherwise, would give it 5 stars.

1) Imported most of my Out of Milk items, but couldn't import two of them. 2) The imported items are not in the same order as in the OoM app & were under a different list name (it may not be possible to import this data from OoM?) I'm still trying to figure it out. But I know for sure that Out of Milk is finished! I've had the paid version of OoM for years, & it is kludge nowadays.

Have used this app for years. When I'm grocery shopping, it's just like having a paper list but better because there's no little scrap of paper to lose in my purse or forget in the car.

Very handy, I use it all the time for grocery shopping and recipes. The UI is sober (i.e. straight to the point) and easy to use. I recently broke my phone and had to install it again on the new one, but the latest version was not backward compatible with the last backup I'd made. I contacted the support (on a Saturday) and the problem was fixed within half an hour ! Just one thing: I don't mind the ads as they need to make a living and they don't take too much space on the screen anyways, but maybe the single ladies in my neighbourhood are not necessary ;-) Kitchenware might be more relevant...

Just started using after a very long search for a shopping app with all of the features I wanted. Set up my lists, categories and sync...used for two days and was ready to implement as our family shopping app. Then came the ads...and they are ever-present, animated and annoying. It's a shame that there doesn't appear to be a paid version, as the app is actually quite well-designed and worth a one-off payment. The search continues...

I have been using this app for years and got really used to it. It was very frustrating when the app stopped working yesterday because of the update to version 7, and my list of items became incompatible. But the issue has been resolved quickly by Lister Studios. We exchanged a few emails, and the responses were almost instantaneous. What really matters is that I can continue using the app I am so used to and know how to navigate. Thank you very much for a quick and efficient support!

Have been using this for a few years now and it is the best shopping list for Android I have ever tried. App is straightforward to use and does exactly what I need it to. Interface is clean and tidy but I would like to see more color customization options e.g. a different color for different lists. I recently changed devices and had to contact the developer. I was very pleased with the quick response.

Love it!! It's so simple and i love that you can organize things on your lists and even transfer items on one lost to another! I'm going to download this app on my mom's phone so I we can send things back and forth, I can't wait to try it! This has made my OCD list making so much easier and organized. Plus I'm saving alot of paper (trees) in the process!

Update broke the app. Snotty message replaced it. Convoluted instructions for recovery of existing data. I give up. I'll use a different app. After Lister response: I don't know where you were displaying your warnings because it certainly didn't show up in the app. I guess you tried to use a push notification but I turn that off for almost all apps. My bad. I wish I had never hit update. After second Lister response: Warning never displayed. App always opened directly to list. Shame, I really liked the old version.

Thanks, I figured out the fresh (nice feature, btw). Still, it really doesn't sync at all (only works when group is created with empty data set). Cleared app cache, app data, and cloud data each test. Also, units list become empty after a while, once in a while (while shops, categories, & items are copied fine and persistent)--when creating group using exiting data set, with over-writing cloud data on initial sync.

I upgraded my tablet and last week was able transfer data. Today tablet had done a software update and wiped out my data. The old data backup was no longer valid. Was happy there was real people who responded and got me up and running quick. I have used this app for sometime and love it. I have used to manage inventory for reorder. Thanks for addressing my issue so quickly.

I have been using this app for years now. The support is very good. It can be kept very simple if you want it that way or you can use all the functions for a comprehensive experince. Recently I upgraded phones and was able to transfer all my data into the cloud in the app without losing anything.

The business model for this app was initially a one time fee, which I paid. After a while they moved to subscription based, which is OK. What is NOT OK is that in order to not get adds, I now need to start paying the subscription. AFTER I ALREADY BOUGHT THE APP ONCE. The solution from the developer implies sideloading an old version of the app, which then updates to the newest app version automatically. Refunds are declined as well. SO NOT OK!

FRAUD! CONMEN!. I paid to get rid of adverts. I parted with my money on the basis that I wouldn't be pestered by adverts. Now the developers has moved the goal posts and wants me to start paying either monthly or annually in order not to see adverts. That is a total rip-off and fraud. If the developer wants to introduce monthly or annual payments, then it should apply only to new purchasers of the app, NOT to those who have already paid for no Adverts! Total rip-off!! :(

I've been loving this app for over a year, but the new "upgrade" removed the ability to add quantity when making a recipe and I can't for the life of me figure out how to now add a recipe to a shopping list. The new upgrade removed all the main features I wanted out of this app so I've had to in install and reinstall, and now have to deal with constant messages trying to get me to upgrade again...

I use this app all the time for shopping. My family members all have a synchrized shopping list on their phone to which they add items. When it's time for weekly shopping, everything is ready to go. I had an issue wjen converting from bersion 5 to 6. The developer's support was excellent and very fast. He solved the issue in no time

I was searching for an "out of milk" alternative as their new owners decided to operate outside my region. This app looks almost perfect. The only problem is inability to sync lists bet8my phone & desktop computer. If devs will add ability to login on their website & let us sync our list to our phone, I will definitely give it 5 stars.

I Love this app! It keeps me organized and prepared. Great customer service as well.. If there is ever an issue they will help asap. I had trouble with the update and everything was squared away in no time. They e-mailed me back right away and kept responding each time until the issue was resolved.

One laborious task in meal planning is inventory management. I really liked the way our recipe ingredients can instantly be added in our shopping lists. Maybe you could integrate an inventory system too, which does the opposite [diminishes quantities in shopping lists]. Thank you very much for being responsive. I really wish the best for this app.

Serious screen orientation bugs on tablets. My tablet is locked on a screen orientation of portrait mode, as is Lister. Nevertheless, when I exit lister my screen orientation frequently (but not always) changes to lanscape. I have to go into tablet settings, unlock the orientation option, shift my tablet to change to portrait mode, and then relock the orientation again. This makes lister annoying and frustrating to use on tablets. It's fine on phones.

I have been using this app around 3 years. There was update options, but I ignored that. Suddenly one morning stopped working except keeping backup. I kept backup and installed the new version from play store. But after that I can not restore my backup file. I already mailed to support team. I need to start using this app ASAP. Please make hurry. I like this app.

Was easy to transfer my outofmilk files into this app. Had one issue, sent off email, and had a productive interaction with staff. They were quick to reply, and very helpful with their input. Still learning how to use this application's full potential.

Lister is a pleasure to use. It has a clean, modern interface that's easy on the eyes. Functionally it's a very capable shopping list maker that just makes sense. The developer was quick to respond to a question I had, resolving it in one day. Highly recommended.
