Easy to use, intuitive, and so practical. I use it for things like packing lists for trips, reading lists of books I hope to get to, to do lists for home projects and things I need to get from the hardware store, etc. Sort alphabetically, by date added, or manually. I wish it had an option to sort by "last accessed" so the list I last used is always on top, but otherwise I love it and use this, a to do list (which has dates), the weather, and the news more than any other apps in my phone.
I have used this app for several years. I love it for camping and packing lists, making menu and grocery lists, wish lists, gift lists, and quick lists for random things on the go (book recommendations etc). It's easy to use and has a logical format. I like that I can move items, share my lists, and that I can uncheck my entire list when I'm done (for example packing - I'm ready for next time!) Thanks!
Easy to use/intuitive. I use it for all of my shopping lists, to-do lists and packing lists for trips. While making a camp packing list, I ran into a question about copying the list that I typed for one child onto another childs list. I decided to reach out to the developer via email. He responded within 10 minutes which far exceeded my expectations. His help instructions were easy to understand and I was able to finish up very quickly. I am very happy with the customer service and app.
I found this app to replace another checklist app that I have been using for almost 10 years -- the developer of that app stopped supporting the product. I am happy to say that Listing It! not only replaces the functionality that I was losing but it adds capabilities I wish the old app had. For instance -- I can now search for desired items in a long list; I can prioritize checklist items; the app developer replies to questions in a timely manner; and much more. This is a mature product!
It's the best listing app I have found, finally one that can get infinity of levels inside your listings, I use it for Flight simulation Checklists and it is just amazing! I just miss one thing! SYNC option, it is annoying to share the list to dropbox for example then get the list on my tablet but then everything is double on there and have to find out which are the lists that where edited or not. But other than that it's just amazing for my needs! Oh and it's FREE with NO annoying ads everywhere!
Used a few years now and like that I can use it for everyday needs or travel. I've been able to use it on all my android devices so far and love that the developer(s) didn't feel the need to put ads which takes away from this simple but useful app. Export to text file is great for archiving a copy in emails and importing into Listing it on another device. Would be great to have exported text file be printable in a better/nicer layout with check boxes for hard copy. Overall great tool, Kudos :)
This miracle app has immense and infinite possibilities, but it is far underrated as most people are using it for shopping lists. What a pity. There is no limit to the length of a list or to the length of one single item. Friends, this is a unique app the likes of which cannot be found in the entire playlist. Listing it has made my life a daily celebration. I have thousands of pages notes in it. Font colours option would make it more awesome as important points and imp words can be highlighted.
Best checklist app I've come across. However, I would suggest the following improvements: (1) ability to select multiple items for copying and moving (2) ability to quickly enter items by reinstating the 'Enter' key on the keyboard in place of 'Done' and keeping the cursor in place, and (3) ability to add notes to each item and sub item by including a notes section below the color selection dropdown menu when in Edit mode or editing an item/sub item. Otherwise, a very good app!
Great app! I could make a few suggestions, but the one I will make right now is that the search should not go into the detail for an item, it should just scroll down to wherever it happens to be in its list. When I need to search for something, it's usually to check or uncheck it. To my knowledge there's no way to do that from the detail, and backing out of the searched detail doesn't leave one looking at the item in the list.
As a former long-time iPhone user I tried countless apps before I found Listing it! to replace iPhone's Notes app that I had used with check boxes for grocery and travel lists. Floating the unchecked items to the beginning of the list is a fabulous feature and I appreciate that lists aren't constrained to a small number of items. Listing it! is perfect for my needs.
Very clean, intuitive and easy to use. The ability to have as many sub-lists under sub-lists is exactly what I have been looking for. And the ability to share is very helpful, though it would even better if I could share to MS Word already formatted as a bulleted list would make this even better. Is that possible?
Amazing app, best I ever had. My only suggestions would be: 1. Copy individual lists / elements into other lists. If I have, for example, a list of cats and I want another list of cats (that is bigger), I would like to be able to ✅ and copy the elements from list 1 into list 2 rather than write them out individually 2. Import lists. We can export them as text and paste them into other places, but what if we could write them in the same format and import them? Would be useful for phone changes
I recently installed it, and I am really happy so far! My shopping and price list is a lot more organized for categories, really easy to find in an extense list. I only miss a widget, and maybe a syncing feature, but nevertheless it is wonderful as it is right now! Congratulations!
Easy to use! It has everything needed without having to much unnecessary features. Import/export just as a text file. Really nice. You can feel it is programmed by someone who wants to manage his own lists and shared the app afterwards to the community. Thank you!
Great app I use for several years! All is good, and please think about new useful feature: when I add an item by typing it, application should check if the same item already exist it this list and uncheck existing item instead of adding new duplicating item. Such behavior is very useful for long lists (with many items): If I just want to uncheck item, but I don't know if the item is already in the list. So I need not to search the item (potentially not existing) through the long list to uncheck it. Thank you again!
Exactly the type of nested checklist app I wanted. Nicely designed, yet still simple. One suggestion is to keep the cursor active in the "Add item" box after pressing Enter so we can continue to add multiple items to a list quickly. No ads or in-app purchases!
Very useful app! The way I like to use it is as a notebook separating ideas, can you can quickly search through ideas with the search bar. excelent for how simple it is, making it very easy to record and organize notes.
There is no help. Trying to start a second list and dont find any buttons for that. It just wants to keep adding to the first list. Ill keep on it tho. The first list is very simple to manage.
One of the best Android apps I have encountered. Simple, well-designed, easy to use. Works great in Samsung pop-up and Dex windows. Thank you, Ciske, for making a great app and sharing it with me and all these other people 😀
So far like this app. Appreciate you can export as text file, arrange manually, no ads pummelling you. I would like option to have sub-items appear on same page but not a deal breaker.
I like the interface, but it only allows me to manually move one or two items and then stops responding to manually moves. That unfortunately makes it useless to me.
Great app!: very smart UI & features; minimalistic design; small footprint. I just wish the list did not automatically move items when checked. Anyway, thank you dev.
Best nested list app I've found. I use this to list out my favorite cheeses and for each item, I have a sublist on the best places in town to find them. I wish I was a shill, so I could spend my time hawking this app out. KUDOS to the developer.
So far, so good. Making list(s) for packing for a long driving trip. Pretty easy to use. I would like to be able to keep this synched with my tablet, is this possible? If so, how?
Requires voice recognition app to work voice texting. Thought that the app already has that. Otherwise app is no different that most other apps without voice command.
Awesome easy-to-use app. You can make sublists and re-arrange the list to place more important lists at the top. Simply ♡ it!!
This is a great app for making lists of things. I use it almost daily for various things like To Do lists and shopping lists. It's very intuitive and simple to use.
This app is great except can I suggest an undo button. Or maybe a trash folder so I can restore something if I accidentally delete it. Thank you
After trying 20-30 different apps to find one that fit my needs best, I think this might be the one. There are a few refinements I'd love to see..... but they are things that aren't needed to make it a very usable and decent app. I love that it's ad free and I pray that a ton of unnecessary bells and whistles aren't added in the future.
