Use to set up any device but after a router crashed and had to purchase a new one, the set up is worse. I liked it when it would allow me to select exactly what I was setting up, and would even give me a QR Code so it was very easy to hook up my cameras. Since then its junk.
this was working well for me until I recently updated my Android software on my phone. About 3 weeks, the app will not open, when you tap to open, it stays to then suddenly closes and you get a close app message. I've uninstalled, reinstalled numerous times. I use this for three plugs for lighting.
This app is a complete failure. It has absolutely zero functionality with Android. And yes, I am updated to the latest release via Samsung Note 8. This needs to be removed from the Play Store immediately.
the app was working ok. couldn't schedule times because it was all in Chinese, but I could turn on and off manually via app. Now app stopped working on the new android update. when I click to open, it mmediately closes.
This app no longer opens on my Galaxy Note 9. It worked fine before, but recently just tried and it immediately closes. Hope something can be done about this. I have 3 plugs that I would like to make sure are able to be used still.
Received three Smart plugs today, installed the LITEdge app, but the app crashes immediately and before it ever fully opens. Can't use the devices without the app. Product will be going back to Amazon.
Started off great, 6 months later the application failed to open. I've sent feedbacks, cleared memory and reset devices. My Alexa echo still can control it but that's for now.
Could not use the app because I could not use the plugs. Could not get the plugs to connect to my Wifi. Kept saying unstable wifi but I have other plugs that work just fine. So returning.
seriously what kind of company offers no support for software that no longer works with their product. the plugs were great. now they are useles. Ok the Smart Life app works on the Litedge plugs and on your Android phone. Litedge never fixed their app!
I was originally able to use the app to set up my lights. However the app is now unable to open. Without the app I can't control the lights with my phone and now Alexa can't communicate with them either.
Can't not schedule the devices to turn on and off. I've tried multi times. Nothing needs to be fixed. I'm sure if they read any of these reviews they would be fixing this asap. This is reason for such poor ratings.
Everything was working fine till we had to change our router now we cannot get the system to work with the new router at all and there is nowhere on the app to change the router to the new one for this reason I am not happy with the system
App closes every time I try to open it. I restarted my phone and it still does it. Will have to send plugs back to Amazon. I'm going to stick with Wemo.
The app no longer opens on my Galaxy S9 and I can't control my lights anymore. The "smart" plug has become useless! Do not buy if you're looking for a smart plug.
Stopped working after recent android OS update. Crashes upon opening every single time. Developers don't seem to want to update the app so we can continue to use their products...what a shame.
worked fine at first but the app will not open anymore. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times and it still hasn't fixed the issue. PLEASE FIX ASAP
Just stopped working out of nowhere last night, now all devices are missing. EDIT the app still work for IOS devices only. Terrible customer service for this product.
For months now, this app has crashed immediately on launch, leaving me completely unable to use the smart plugs that I've bought. It's completely unacceptable and I'll never be giving this company any of my money ever again.
The schedule and timer functions don't work, which was the entire reason I bought the smart plugs to begin with Update THE APP DOESN'T EVEN OPEN ANYMORE. I MOVED AND NOW I AM UNABLE TO USE ANY OF MY PLUGS AND I HAD 16 OF THEM. VERY UPSETTING
Terrible. Bought the plugs and the app won't work. It shuts off everytime I try to get on it. Now the plugs are useless.
App automatically crashes upon opening one plus 6t t Mobile model. Pretty annoying. My entire set of smart plug is now useless.
App has never been able to be opened since i installed it on my Pixel 3. was hoping for an update. assuming it's an Android 9 issue as stated by others. Would love to control my lights. Pleaae update and i will update my review.
was working fine until android 9.0 update...now doesn't work at all and doesn't connect to wifi either...basically went from smart light to regular light
App worked well until it didn't. Looks to nolonger be maintained. I hope my lights continue to work with Alexa.
This is terrible will not work on my android devices. I have 12 plugs and cannot reset them at all. They are going in the trash. If you can return them do so......
The app keeps crashing every time I try to open. Doesn't work with android after a few months
I only got this app for plugs that an in-law gave me because they couldn't get some to work in their house. It doesn't seem like it would be worth it to buy them all you can really seem to do is turn the plugs on & off from your phone. The other features are something to be desired. Can't even set a schedule like it says you can won't let you change the time. Does seem to work well with Alexa so that's a plus. Also everything is in Chinese when trying to set a scenario not sure why that is but not sure I trust an app like that. Also notifications in the app pop up in Chinese. App hasn't even been updated since the developers came out with it over a year ago which should also tell you something. Do yourself a favor & buy smart plugs that have apps from trusted suppliers don't just buy them because they are cheap.
