Great alchemy game with features that help you progress without giving too much of a hint. Things I suggest to one-up the experience : 1) have a background on items that can't mix with anything else because the other components aren't unlocked yet 2) possibility to hide the item list in main screen, so you have even more space to combine Possible bug : an item in case 1) and not merged with anything yet doesn't display "all other items discovered : x remaining" but "makes x undiscovered items"

I really enjoyed this game. I even bought the expansion, and I rarely spend money on phone games. I do wish we could see a better history of recent items created. Currently, you can only see 6 items, and two of those items are ALWAYS "Time" and "Container", regardless of how long ago I discovered them. Also, "Sailor" doesn't show up in the "People" category? For some reason?

It gets frustrating when you can't find combinations, but is so satisfying when you do. Very relaxing, the music is nice and calm. If the hints don't help, there's some guides available. Ads are only there to get a hint. Nice graphics. The item list scroll could be improved. Needs to work as the whole list, not just the side. Maybe an indexed list, but I guess that's what the encyclopedia is for. It's fun, for being so simple, and I don't know why.

Pretty damn good, I discovered all possible combinations of all 830 items. The gameplay was a little stretched because some combinations are really a reach. Also many duplicates, such as metal and steel, ocean and sea, mountain and mountain range,.. these must be used on almost every single item that mixes to eliminate the combinations. A little grindy if you want to trully beat the game, which you don't have to do, but if you deplete every item, it unlocks the art mode which is kinda fun

Little Alchemy is just like the Flow games. Theyre amazing and fun, and they'll keep you occupied for a good while. But once you finish it, there isn't any reason to keep it installed. Like the Flow games I find that I'll 100% complete it, and then delete it. Then sometime later (months later) I'll redownload it and beat it again. This game does have amazing replayability. The only major complaint is that the sorting could be better. Overall it's a great and enjoying experience though.

One of VERY FEW games I play on regular basis on my phone, when I have time. It has excellent graphics, addictive gameplay & what could I wish more for a casual relaxation, sometimes just for a few minutes. The developers have done a great job, though the game is "just" a remake of a classic. But it's an excellent one. Please keep it updated & make it even better with adding more unique features.

I like the concept of these game types, but they lose their appeal too quickly for me, it becomes a trial and error tap fest within a few minutes. Many of the combinations aren't really intuitive, which is more frustrating for me than fun. This version of the game type stands out slightly among the others, but not enough to make up for the minimal game play. There is virtually no replayability for me here either. 3 stars for novelty, hit or miss depending on the type of puzzle game you enjoy.

Fun, if slightly weird combos. Reminds me of the crossword puzzle clues you get that make you say "haha... what?!" But still! It's fun and I like it enough. Preferred the first version oddly enough. But the animations on that one weren't near as good. It's something I can not put my finger on yet I reckon it's cause of the different art style. The former way was a little more charming to me..*shrug*

Loved it and I want more! I have completed this came twice: once with just the base game, and a second time with the expansion pack. I loved every second of it. It is true that it gets hard to do all of the combinations. It would be helpful to know which results are involved when you have "all items discovered, X combinations remaining" or a category in the library for elements that are missing combinations, otherwise it can get a bit tedious.

The game is great, I like that when finding all combinations for an item, it disappears. You must find new strategies when you run out of ideas, don't rage in the comments because you are impatient. The art style is nice and simple and the game itself doesn't drag on forever, in other words, it's short and sweet. Wouldn't suggest buying the expansion since it's not that large. The UI is great, I don't understand the bad reviews after reading many. Almost finished the game!

It's nice. No ads, no pushing transactions. It can be a fun puzzle. I agree with others that sorting things could be streamlined, like maybe allowing you to filter the sidebar in the workspace by categories? Rather than having to go to the encyclopedia, search, categories, scroll down to find the one you want, scroll all the way up do close the category menu...

I really like this game! It's addicting to see what combinations create. The one annoyance I have is when I'm scrolling through the items or dragging them it thinks I'm wanting to go to the encyclopedia page. Similarly when I'm looking at an item from the list of items in search(ex:basic items) and decide I want to add it to the workplace it doesn't register my click on the little paper icon and goes to the encyclopedia page instead. Soo I guess if clicking things is made easier or less sensitive it will really improve my experience. Otherwise, fun game!

Really like the game, how it is executed, and the interface. A few ideas on how to improve the gameplay a little bit: group elements by categories on the right panel, having to scroll so much affects the flow when playing; having context menus pop-up on a mini-screen instead of moving to another screen; having achievements for milestones to pop up on screen to have as short and medium term goals. Anyway, great time!

A great way to pass the time. Some of the combinations needed to make other items is very clever. No need to spend $$s to progress and no ads are both huge plusses. If I had one minor complaint it would be that it can be a bit fiddly scrolling through your inventory, and easy to drag the wrong item out of your work space, but these are hardly major concerns. Well done devs :)

I used to play the 1st game; this version is very similar, but more variety. Some of the combos have been changed, giving a nice twist to players of the 1st game. I do wish there was an option to recreate elements I've already made like in the first game; it's a little frustrating to have to scroll through growing menu to find something I made earlier. On the other hand, this change stops me from getting stuck in a repetitive loop when I forget what I have or haven't already tried. Nice remake.

fun game, lots of combinations and I really like how you can see the history of each element and what combinations they can be used in. only problem is the library will randomly disappear and the only way to get it back is to close the app and restart it. after a while it gets really annoying so I'm looking for another alchemy app.

I honestly think that this is a beautifully made game. The graphics are amazing, the science behind it is thought out, and the background music is fantastic. My only issue though is that sometimes the game is a bit laggy for me, and some items I've made a long time ago say that I had just made them. Other than that, if you want a chill fun science game about elements, I definitely recommend Little Alchemy 2.

Nice clean art style and user interface. No annoying ads or obnoxious "wait for energy to recharge" mechanics, so it's a good way to kill time with minimal frustration. Only real drawbacks are that some of the item combinations can be a bit obtuse or overly narrow, and that there is a *lot* of dragging and swiping. Being able to select one item and then just tapping on the others to combine it would save a lot of thumb strain.

The graphics are cute and clean. Lovely visual style. Sometimes the control are a little sticky? Trying to open the info page for an items for new feels like it takes a touch too long. But this is small potatoes. Creating items is fun and some combinations are funny. Lots of little jokes and funny write up. Plus no nothing ads getting in the way of game space; just if you want to gain hints.

Definitely worth your time. Download it! I love this game so much! It's so much fun to mix elements to create new ones! The cartoony style makes the game really stand out and looks really nice, the controls are easy, simplistic, and can be learned and mastered quickly. However, I do feel like I get stuck way too often. There will be many times when I feel like I have tried everything but then I realize, OH! That's how you make it! Sometimes the combinations are a bit ridiculous, like when you stop and wonder how you would've figured that out for yourself, so sometimes I have to use a hint or just start throwing random elements together. In all, this is a fantastic game that will keep you busy not for hours, but for WEEKS and probably even, like me, MONTHS to complete. I have had the game for almost a year now and have enjoyed it all the way.

Honestly, I did lose all my progress awhile ago for no apparent reason so that sucked, but a few weeks later and I'm back. I don't fully grasp all the different categories of items, and sometimes feels awfully redundant... But despite all that, it's probably one of my favorite relaxing games and it fills that need perfectly for me.

Bra. M. Apr 27, 2019

Overall game play is engaging and fun. I especially like the descriptions of the items that are created (they're hilarious!). I wish it was less sensitive when touching items, because it tends to go to encyclopedia of it instead of grabbing it and that it was a bit more straight forward to make items.... I mean making cars before making Man is kind of silly!!

A. G. u. Jan 31, 2019

A very good experience, but unlike Doodle God, there's no sorting system. It makes the game much less convenient to play - especially on mobile - and you have to copy the element you're using, lest you have to scroll all the way back up to get another copy. Those gameplay elements both seem fairly fixable. This game isn't overloaded with ads or begs for micro transactions, and goes super deep with 720 things you can make; most of them really intuitive. 4 stars exclusively for the sorting issues.

Hea. C. Nov 24, 2020

personally I think this version of the game has better graphics. The descriptions of each item can be absolutely hilarious! there aren ads just like the original. But I think this version is slightly too easy. It's fun and a greatbordem buster but I can put the same things together a million times and get new stuff. I am giving the app five stars because it is fun, simple, and overall an amazing game!

Ize. C. Oct 1, 2020

Fun but needs more ways to sort/organize The game is really cool but as you go on it gets increasingly hard to sort out what you've made. There should be a way to sort items not just alphabetically but by category on the main screen. Also, it's a bit annoying that you can make really specific things like 'optic fiber' but there's no way to make 'jungle' even though you can craft other biomes like desert and arctic.

Row. C. Oct 13, 2019

Really fun and can help you learn something, but if people want hints they either have to buy them or go online, which are both kind of time consuming and annoying. It would be better if the developers had an in-game recipe book for things you want to make, and every day or certain amount of time, you get a free hint/recipee. Besides that, it's actually addicting and enjoyable. Thanks :)

A fun little game that's easy to understand. Ads are hardly intrusive and it's satisfying to find new item combinations. Highly recommend, very entertaining though it does feel rather tedious due to trouble with finding combos. The hint system is a great way to implement advertisements without making it pay to win, and the developers seem like good people.

It's a pretty straightforward game with a simple but intriguing concept. It's fascinating how you can use your knowledge of the sciences here. The graphics are not bad, either. They look smooth and are visually appealing in terms of the aesthetic. I appreciate how we can opt to use hints in the game and that this really is a puzzle with a twist. I can't scroll through the game, though but otherwise, I love this.

Fun little game, but definitely a lot of bugs. I'm on a pixel 2. Sometimes scrolling through the items even when I've just started the app, the icons disappear and I am forced to restart the app. This happens way too often for no reason (e.g. I don't have a full workspace or anything).
