Little Family Tree
Little Family Tree engages children with their personal family history through games and activities. Personal family history data is obtained by having an adult login to an online family tree such as FamilySearch, MyHeritage, or PhpGedView. An online family tree account is required to play the game but a FamilySearch account can be obtained for free at FamilySearch.org. A MyHeritage account can also be made for free at MyHeritage.com.
Playing with Little Family Tree will help children learn to:1. Identify family members by name, relationship, and picture2. Understand who and where they come from3. Recognize and navigate a family tree

It loads pretty slowly and it is a bit buggy, but it's a good idea and I am hopeful!

My daughter who is three loves uncovering the water color family photos game and singing along with the songs that introduce ancestors. The match game is great also. Just make a free family tree at FamilySearch and you can introduce kids to their ancestors easily!

_It is a kid version of family search apps. :(:(:(:(:(:(
I love this app, some of the games more than others. I think my favorite is the puzzles. I introduced it to my grandkids last Sunday and the 6 year old especially enjoyed it. I have been telling EVERYONE about it and I am going to teach the sisters in our ward about it on Sunday. It might be a little pricey if you paid for every game but I think it is very motivating. I need to get more pictures on Family Search so it will be even more fun! And, OK, I was doing the puzzles myself and some of them were very hard so that is not geared just for preschool- a 25 piece puzzle where it was just black and white scenery with maybe a small picture of a person in the middle. I think my grandkids were exposed to more family history in an hour than in their whole lives.
