Little Girl Dress Design

Kids' dresses should be fashioned to fit the figures of the children they are wearing. Too often the kids' dresses are made to be replicas of adult fashions that are meant to be sexy and alluring. When you dress a small girl to look like she is an adult all you do is create an attraction for pedophiles. Kids' dresses should be designed for kids' not little women who are underdeveloped.
When a little girl is five and under it is perfectly acceptable for her dresses to be just long enough to cover her bottom. This length of kids' dresses on very small children allows them to crawl on their knees and not get the hem of their garment caught up beneath their knees. They tear fewer dresses and they soil their dresses less when they are shorter.

From the time a child is five until they are about twelve their little dresses should come just above their knees. The child should be able to stretch their arm down by their side and the tip of their middle finger should not be above the hem line of the garment. These dresses should be modest and cover all of the child's shoulders and chest area. Little girls do not have cleavage and their garments should not be designed like they do.

Dresses for children should always have two shoulders and at the very least they should be hemmed around the armpit. Little girls should not be dressed in dresses that have no shoulders, halters, or dresses that have only one shoulder covered. These are babies and they should be allowed to dress like babies until the time they are grown. If you allow them to dress too grown up when they are small what message are you sending them and the world?

Little girls are not little women. They are girls and they should be dresses appropriately for their age and for the activities they will be engaged in. When a child will be playing outside they should have on shorts or jeans instead of dresses. At the very least they should wear bloomers under the dress that will cover their underwear.

Pedophiles prey on small girls who are dressed up like grown women. Little girls deserve to be protected and dressed like the little children they are as long as they can be. When they are in their teens they can begin to try and dress like grown women.
