We run summer camps in SW Florida and lightning is a fact of life here every afternoon. I have used some different apps and this on is the best! Next to us is a waterpark and when there lightning detector sounds so does ours! It's a must have if your doing outdoor activities.
This app works the same as the regular Weather Bug app before they redesigned it. Many of us hated the changes. I am happy to have the original version back with this app. Hopefully they won't change this one so we can have a choice. I do wish we could choose a background which doesn't have a baseball theme, but I can live with that.
This is the previous version of Weatherbug before they screwed it up with an update. Hopefully they do not "update" this one and screw it all up too.
It gives me one more tool to help decide whether to stop a ball game even before we hear the first thunder.

This app is much better it does tells me the right weather and the temperature and the 10 day forecast and details and hourly. I love you Little League weatherbug thank you. But i do want the widget to be customize and lot more accurate.
It could be better. Sometimes it doesn't show the heavy over cast. It seems like nobody likes to give good weather forcasts for Idaho.
Love the app, but it needs 1 change. On weather notifications, say it is going to snow tomorrow, I see the notification, read it, and swipe it away. Then <60 minutes later, I get the same notification. Swipe it away, and it comes back. Again and again.
We don't get a lot of lightning but it's good to know that none in the vicinity. Radar has a good zoom so that'll can see if a break is headed your way.
I use it for baseball, softball, scouts and even school planning. Radar maps can be a little quirky at times.
This is the best app when coaching little league baseball, softball or any outdoor activity. Safety is key when outside.
Florida is the lightning Capitol of the USA. This app shows immediately where lightning is happening around you and warns you to get indoors when it's close. Very important for anyone who enjoys being outdoors.
Takes money, abandons customers, still writes other software. Don't trust them at all. Thieves basically.
As a sports official this app provides me with real time updates on the weather. Easy to use and I absolutely love it!
It will never find my actual position just a near landmark or town.
Always right on the weather. I depend on it daily and I've never had any problems with it. It always checks where I am and if I need to know the weather some where else it's easy to get.
I installed this app for its unique ability to map lightning strikes instead of using the regular WeatherBug app. With little league practice and soccer practice in one day, I was concerned because I saw and heard thunder and lightning, but Spark hasn't shown it in the app with 1 hour passing. It says the closest strike is 626 miles away. Useless! I might as well use the regular app and just look out my window!
This App has saved us from going out when the weather will turn bad. I watch the weather on this app EVERYDAY.
Love being able to get current weather update for games.
This is the cherry copy of Weather Bug app. It did not get updated or ever will to a newer version. This is right before they turned the app into poo. Love this version of the app and my son is in little league so the the theme is fine.

Only improvement would be if radar could have a projected future radar screen like some other apps have. Otherwise we love it, especially like that we can see how far away lightening is.
Direct and quick access to weather and lightning information. This is what the WeatherBug app was before they destroyed it with advertisements and poor layout. I rate this 5-star because, as a coach, the Sparks feature of the app is very useful during bad weather and access to information is direct and straight-forward. I also rate it 5-stars to remind the developers that they should have continued the Elite Premium version as it too had a similar structure.
