Not sure why you haven't made this resizable for smaller screens. It's a pretty simple thing to do in the Android development world and it's the reason you're getting so many bad ratings. People would rather have small buttons instead of a UI that only half shows up
I got the r2d2 Droid a few years ago for Christmas. It had its own app but I stopped using r2d2 for awhile. I just pulled it back out for fun but the app is no longer available. So I thought I had to be on here. So I checked the reviews and a lot of people had the same issue. I tried anyway and there was only 3 kits. Put the kit back up. Waste of money.
Where to start? The app doesn't really support layout of a standard phone - some buttons are partially outside of display area, with no scroll. Others I assume are entirely outside! Besides from this Sphero quietly SHUT DOWN access to apps for droid and avengers kits, not just leaving them without further development. This renders awesome toys close to useless for pennies in Spheros pockets. Never again will I buy nor recommend this company!
There was no experience. This app will not download the information needed. It says information download error. Can't even use it! We were so excited to use the app with the little bits purchased. Those suckers aren't cheap! Very disappointed.
Screen is cut off. Only 3 build options that you can't even see. Built r2d2 and can't even play with it because of this app not having anything about it.
This app doesnt work. It gets to the signup screen, with textfields for username and age, but no way to continue past. There are no buttons or links, only the 2 entry fields.
The kits are an amazing idea, the app ruins the experience. All the app does is create barriers to using the kit. An option to download the instructions via PDF would raise my rating a lot.
Me and my friend spent so much time on the R2D2 and looking forward to the app working and having our very own droid in the house. The R2D2 kit is not on the app and we are so mad!!! 😡🤬😠. That was such a waste of valuable time and effort! LittleBits, you better fix this! Yall should check YOUR comments ya know! Not worth the time!!😡😡😡😡
Hero and Droid inventor kit apps not available anymore!? The product is still available for purchase but you don't support the apps anymore? What a garbage company.
Not worth the price for the little bits, only app based instructions, HUGE download, absurd privacy asking for email to access. How about just having access without the rubbish nicknames and parent email. A device is needed for EACH littlebit kit to access instructions and build if used in a classroom. Cannot recommends to students or parents, such a pity an ingenious system ( littlebits) is spoilt by absurd rollout of app based instructions and use.
App is useless, the diagrams and instructions will not download for the base invention kit despite several attempts. I have no idea why they could not make the instructions into pdf or included a small booklet with the kit.
Awful. Just awful. My son is so bummed. We bought the Avengers Hero Inventor kit on Amazon as his big birthday gift and realized after he built it that they no longer support the product or offer it on their app. It is useless without the app.
This app crashes every time I try to drive. It isn't worth the money. The kits are a great idea but the app ruins it.
Same issues as other people, as soon as you try to get it to drive, the app crashes on some android versions, others it's fine so far
Not reliable company, stops supporting products. Cannot longer find the app for their star wars droid. Won't buy from them again.
When trying to download it gets to 80% and then says "error try again". So frustrating.
Please fix your app so my son can actually use your product. It loads sideways on half the screen. Such a waste of money.
Majority if of the screen is cutoff and it seem like it wasn't made for phone at all.
This app is useless. we tried using it at my children's school for invention night and it was a disaster. Sadly the school encourage the entire school to download the app. SMH.

this is bs I tried to connect to the Droid of r2 d2 and It don't work so please add a r2d2 kit ok.

Only fills half screen on Android. Garbage
Tried to use this app with the avengers hero inventor kit. It's complete garbage. The first screen that comes up only fills half the screen and all the navigation buttons are off the screen. Impossible to even reach any of the features of the app because it won't let you navigate off the main splash page. The verified by Google play rating should be revoked.
