Why on earth each time I open the application I land in the mall? I thought it was obvious, that when you open the camera app, you want to check quickly what's going on in the sleeping room, not inspect the ads and tap through menus to get there. Otherwise the app is okay, but this behaviour ruins the purpose.
Great app but this last update is causing crashes. Plus the Message Centre has changed and Bulletin has been made the default over Alarm so you can't see the stills of notifications straight from Message Centre. Please change it back as I rely on this app.
Takes getting your setting right and turning off the notifications you don't want to get. We use them for interance motion cameras and they work great.
Works great for camera but uses a generic software branded to them. I wish they would stop messing with the integration of other smart devices such as plugs and lights. App would be better if they kept the integration with other devices besides their cameras. I don't want 10 different apps because I have different devices. Would be better for their business if they clued in to that and made themselves better by having better integration of other devices.
Both cameras stopped working all of a sudden. Tried resetting them but theres no proper error message or troubleshooting to figure out the cause.
Meh.. it's okay it takes pictures and videos of whatever drives by or walks by but .. it keeps crashing when I watch the videos from the cloud as soon as I turn my phone over to make the screen wider it kicks me off the app.. it is very annoying especially after paying 80$ after shipping and taxes Please fix the issue ... Other than that good security cameras
The app has been sending tons of useless notifications about some release of a product that I never cared for. Whatever this app has done with its recent updates. This whole thing has fallen out of favor for being a decent app to use for the cameras they have. I care more about the notifications for my camera with motion detection than ads appearing every day.
At first I was pleased with my purchase. However, a little more than a year later and we are searching for a new device. The controls no longer work to turn the camera and the app crashes after a minute. So when I need to make sure my toddler is staying in bed I have to restart the app every minute for up to 20 minutes. Do not buy this device. Also the app opens to a sales page. Really annoying.
I find the user interface pretty confusing. All the people I invited had trouble figuring out how to get started. And their tech skills were pretty varied, so something needs streamlining. I also can never remember how to add people, I wind up going from the camera view, and the top right button. Then going to Share Device, and then the blue text. I do like the camera function, it's easy to take pictures and video. The sound isn't great, but I don't need it much myself
Not sure what they did but the most recent app update broke it. App was fine before. The video feeds of 2 cameras (the ones you move manually) will not load. The other one (the one that patrols) will only load the video feed the first time the app is opened. So if you leave the feed and go right back in it will not load. It doesn't matter how many times the cameras and app are restarted. The results are the same. As if it's not bad enough that one camera continuously disconnects for no reason.
It was ok, but after a recent update it has started to show ads a lot. Given that this app goes with a product that we purchased, that really isn't ok. It also slows down actually opening the camera part of the app, which is already pretty slow. I just want to open the app and quickly see what my camera sees. I don't want to have to click through an ad.
Not great. Cheaply designed. Doesn't do much. I can see live views and zoom in, but the app does zero. Difficult to find anything in the app. Random pics and videos. Doesn't alert you with movement. I always have a red dot on the icon. I open the app and it's one option only. Open the camera. Always takes two taps to open it. First tap just spins and thinks endlessly. I have to hit the back button and click again for it to work. Made cheaply. It doesn't see in the dark like it claims to.
This app is the worst!! It works totally fine for about 2 minutes and then it completely freezes. I have to restart the app or exit out of it in order to get it working again for another 2 minutes. I've even re downloaded it multiple times. I love the cameras to bad the makers don't care enough to have a working app that goes along with it. Wouldn't recommend the camera to anyone because of the fact that the app that you need to use for it is almost useless!
We used for about a year with only occasional glitches or issues that were manageable. After a recent update, the app no longer gives a single chime when the baby moves, instead it rings like an alarm until you check it. So if the baby just moves her arm in the middle of the night, it just goes off waking you up for one small baby movement. As a result of the update we've had to turn off the alerts completely. I would have returned it if it was like this when we first bought it.
The app works well, but they keep making changes to how it functions to display ads and notifications. I've already bought 2 of the cameras, I don't want or need it to change to a product page upon opening the app (where it used to go right to the camera selection). I disabled notifications to not get unneeded popups, and now it 'reminds' me every time I open the app to enable notifications. If your notifications were actually important, I wouldn't be disabling them.
When I first got this, I thought it was awesome. It worked well, loved how I could move the camera remotely and it has two way audio on it. However, this thing does not consistently work. So many times it just freezes up and I have to unplug it, uninstall the app, re download it and open and hopefully it works after the first try.
In learning the features, I tapped the Invert function which flips the camera view. BUT there was no way to return the camera to normal view. I tried to send a question to the developers, but the automated response was that I must choose a question from the designated list. Apparently there is no one in support who reads/writes English! The Play feature uses the same pale blue line for alerts as the timeline & is hard to see. App needs work.
Despite having sensitivity to the minimum, setting a detection window with no movement, I still end up getting several hundred images a day with no discernable difference. No simple delete for these images and you have to scroll to the bottom of the list and then select all, otherwise it only selects the cached images. Cannot recommend this until these basic issues are resolved
Since the latest update the app won't even connect to 2 of the 4 cameras we have paired. The ones it will connect to, you can no longer make full screen and watch in real time, only see a screenshot of the moment you connect to that camera. This is aside from the fact they have added a store to the app, which is the first thing you see when you open it, not your cameras as in previous versions
My app keeps kicking me out saying I've opened it too many times. I can not view my camera from outside the home. It said that I can not establish a connection. That means I can only watch my camera when I am connected to the same wifi. And now even that doesn't work. I have deleted the app re downloaded it and still can't connect. It's ridiculous.
Worst software in the playstore. The developers seem to make an effort to make this software as frustrating as they possibly can becomes less and less useful with every update. Nothing in the UI makes any sense, you get an alarm then land up on a shopping page, then after digging 10 layers deep eventually find the camera, by that time the trigger is long gone. With the last update not even that is working. Such fantastic hardware I think the developer is trying to sink your company.
