LIVALL Riding

When I go to the Virgo settings, I get advertisements that interfere with my use of the settings while I am driving, and that is very dangerous. I ask Livall developers to enable the exclusion of ad settings or better yet to completely remove ads like no other car navigation app.

Need this app now to connect the Bling Helmet. Must give full permissions. Did so to connect, then I revoked all permissions, as they are not needed to play audio through the helmet.

Very light and confortable. but a few points.. 1. Light setting keeps changing back to Flow everytime i turn on the helmet.. forcing me to open the Livall app and change to "Close" setting every time. 2. MUST have phone gps turned on to sync with your phone and controller. no way to use the remote without gps. 3. Need hazard indicator where both amber lights blink. 4. not bright enough for daytime use. drivers still expect arm signal. 5. break lights oversensitive turn on when tilting head down.

Worked perfectly the first time we used it. 5 Stars and two very happy customers. The next day, the radio function suddenly was very quiet on one helmet, and messages could barely be understood. Very disappointing. One Helmet will probably be sent back to be checked on. Also, the App constantly turns on the displays of both phones it's used on. This uses up more battery and heats up the phones. We would be very, happy if you fixed this!

Horrible user experience. Every single time when you want to start a ride, you must click away advertising. Even worse: after clicking away all advertising, you are not allowed to start your ride immediately, because you will be directed to another page containing nothing but even more advertising. Only from there your are allowed to change to something useful. After going through that hassle twice, i decided getting rid of this app.

To create the account there is a "send" code. It is confusing. It should be "get" instead. Then cellphone code never arrived. I noticed an email tab and tried that. The code arrived and I was able to copy and paste it just in time (there is a countdown that gives you quite short time to do it). I recommend to fill all except the code and then copy/paste it once received. The app uses a lot of energy despite of being closed. It is ok but for this high price I expected a lot more or better : 1) the app/device/helmet has two buttons to test the turning lights. The app does NOT have a page that replicates the remote's buttons. Just these buttons under settings. I use this helmet with an electric unicycle but it is not easy to carry the remote. Instead the phone is on my wrist with all the apps I use while riding. 2) I wanted the lights ON also during daylight, for safety purposes. Turning light adaptation OFF made it. Great. 3) Light settings have some modes but NONE let you keep the lights ON all the time, nor just the center red section. And none of the blinking modes have a decent speed rate. They all are super slow with a long pause in between flashes. It would have been very useful to have a mode with the red section blinking fast and another steady on. No customizing options. 4) The helmet feels quite heavy and looks also quite big but it works. The problem is that when adjusting the straps there is no way to center the soft section. Only the right side can be adjusted. Therefore I ended with the plastic connector in a bad place. You may not have this problem, but if the straps are not really able to adjust in the center, another system should have been used. This is way sub-standard. 5) Since the helmet has an accs sensor, it would have been awesome to provide a way (by shaking the head or tapping a side) to trigger the turning lights. The remote works but it is one more thing to care about and carry. 6) I did not find on the app a way to update the helmet's firmware so I guess not updates fixing these details should be expected. In summary: I think I will keep the helmet after all but in general I would not recommend this helmet/app system to my friends considering what you get v/s what you paid for. The idea is good but not fully developed, a lot where to improve and it is way too expensive.

Sept 2019, you still need to fix the small issue where using imperial distances, the voice announcements are speaking the right units but the calculation is in metric. Example: Ride 10 miles in one hour. The average speed is 10 miles an hour, however the voice announcement will say "Average speed 16 miles per hour". 16 km=10 miles. When you fix this, i'll change my review. :)

the app is nice enough and fairly simple to use. would prefer the record ride page to be the default rather than the social media attempt but that's just me, I don't use that feature at all. my biggest issue is with the helmet and its sensitivity for the sos function. unfortunately the app/helmet consider jumps or rather landings to be an impact worthy of sending our an alert. its not just large jumps but anything that lifts the front wheel. maybe it needs a sensitivity adjustment option?

DO NOT INSTALL - In my years of developing software I've never seen a more poorly developed application. Their user agreement gives them free reign with your data and it demands excessive rights to your device/data even when the app is not running. Further, features like emergency contacts are broken (sends erroneous alerts to contacts with inaccurate gps data + you cannot delete a contact). Many issues with pairing the helmet and controller and settings do not always save. Do not trust LIVALL

Doesn't work, can't answer calls, can't use intercom on the app. Purchased two neo helmets for £300 and going to have to return them because they aren't doing what's advertised. The app and a bunch of permissions seem to be required for the most basic functions of the device and they still don't work.

Can't log in. I enter my email and request a verification code, and then I'm given a mere 60 seconds to enter the code. The code first arrived too slowly, the second code went to spam, and the third code just gave "parameter error" or "invalid mailbox" in the app. This is rubbish. Surely I should be able to use my helmet with creating an account!? Also, most of the app seems to be social, and I'm not at all interested in that. I just want to be able to configure the ruddy helmet.

Paired with the helmet easily enough, but won't keep the settings. Now the lights are stuck on "Flash" even though the app is set to "Default". Can't change it back!

Unable to sign up as the verification code not being sent via email and sms. Horrible! The helmet is OK. The app is really a waste of energy and effort.. goodness me! I guess this BAD product review should be shared with the cycling circles so they won't consider buying. I got this as my friend recommended and said it has several smart function. Now can't even sign up or login. How SMART is that 🤦‍♀️

The helmet is great! Fits comfortably. The app is very straight forward but this latest update which added another device to the app called "scooter" what is that for? Is this app now suppose to pair with a specific scooter or just any scooter? Because it certainly doesn't pair with my Ninebot Max. Clearer explanations about relevant updates is appreciated. The lack of communication from the developer is why I give it only 4 stars

Awesome, easy to install, bluetooth pairing and use too. Its so simple. The inbuilt cadence on the bike system is great too. Low bluetooth power usage.

It's impossible to connect the bling helmet and controller at the same time. I do not have the same issue with any other bluetooth devices I have such as my earbuds and Garmin. So now I can't use the controller to launch the camera or answer the phone

Would be 5 if the light could have more custom settings like deciding the duration of the lights blinking, or even have it on all time.

Join Group Failed. I cannot create or join a group in order to use the walkie talkie function. Even tried re-installing the app but the issue still persists. Please fix the function.

Intercom breaks up and is in audible on pixel 6 pro, works fine on pixel 4 XL. So can't use function anymore. Very disappointing

When not using it, it runs in the background, it uses nearly 20% of my battery this should not happen! Great when I'm using it for cycling, not when I'm not using it. Also it keeps getting to connect to my helmet via Bluetooth so my phone keeps telling me it cannot connect to my helmet....stop.

I want to control my player through the remote control, and not this unprocessed player in the application. There is no way to create a playlist or reconfigure the buttons on the remote.

Ostallation with S7 was smooth. Add constant-on lights please. Any pulsating scheme is stupid. Turn signal too is now pretty lame. Use all left side lights to indicate left turn. Much safer.

This app does not let me connect my new bling neo helmet only my other bling Helmet. If this company makes multiple helmets why they all don't link with the app?? It's very annoying because it causes my remote not to work correctly. I like the helmets but not this app.

A good riding app, syncs activities with Stava, good sound notifications. 2nd time this month it does not sync my activity with Strava, what is happenening??🤔😬😕
